King Police Chief Paula May said she’s received hundreds of threats related to the restrictions, which banned driving from 12 a.m. Sunday to 5 a.m.
The state of emergency for King was declared by members of the City Council after Stokes County authorities also declared a state of emergency.

hell yeah your going to receive threating phone calls, and people willing to act on those threats when you go and STEAL and inhibit there rights, becoming a CRIMINAL, damn right your going to get calls from pissed off people that are going to shot your ass.
Over and over and over again, I hear the founding fathers never would have let it get this bad. After over 10 years of reading about them, I agree.
So that begs the question, WHAT THE HELL is wrong with us, if our founders would already have been at war by now for the crap our government is pulling, how pathetic does that make all of us, allowing it to happen and putting an even worse burden on the shoulders of our children.

IT IS A CONSERTED EFFORT TO DIVIDE AND CONQUER…While some are watching the South Carolina “Subversive Registration Act” and some who are watching the “Cyber Security Act” and any number of things that are going on. When they have millions to do THIER work, we need to realise that everything is connected. I have spent 20 years as an independent researcher and it’s taken me that long to understand that not everybody is at the same level of understanding. What I have said, “some people just will not allow themselves to be, not even helped, but to be saved…. That is what THEY are counting on, “Collateral Damage” is always in the tach. papers…The first line to go are the ones who can not figure out how to run but also where to run, they are lost….am I a cold hearted individual…..no, just a realist that understands their game plan…however, those who will be caught up in the first wave, they slow down the advance of THEIR first line, they give the rest of us a chance to get out and regroup. Everybody has a part to play, it is always the way, there are those who DO and those who wonders why they need to….

Yeah. It’s kind of genius if you think about it. You pass some crazy ass law that almost nobody knows about in one state. Then use that state’s precedence to pass it in other places. So what starts as 5 crazy laws in 5 different states becomes 5 laws being railroaded in all over. All the while nobody has any idea what is going on. Until they start being enforced. Then people will wonder what happened to their rights.

this is why these laws must be challenged in the courts. anotherwords, like the DC gun ban, we must violate these unconstitutionial laws in order to challenge them in the courts even up to the supreme court. this MUST be done – just because they are passing new and illegal laws doesent mean you have to obey them and in fact that is the morally WRONG thing to do in these circumstances. no plea bargains – make them fail at getting convictions and then make it publicly known to EVERYONE!!!

Americans have became weak because of TV and Hollyweird. Unfortunatly our kid like a lot of our generation listened and believe in movie stars. Reality TV its easier to live in a fantasy than to deal with the true evils of this world. For example people know that the nazies existed and the holocaust took place yet people are still in denial that there are those in this world that would do it again. Such as our government. They may see it but dont want to realise it. Its one thing to hear it and another to see it.

The problem is that these laws have been setup for an American government, we don’t have an American government anymore. Be afraid, because even when declarations are made for your saftey, they will only take advantage of the situation. Checking on your welfare can turn into, “Oh by the way can I search your house while I’m here”?

Good to know I live in a Police State. These are remnants of old bible thumping blue laws, that have no place in a 24 hr/ 365 day a year society. ABC-AFT revenuers, with God on their side. As I write this, the National Guard has shut down the only road to leave the island, and are out patrolling with local authorities, with rolling checkpoints. We have no snow, only localized flooding. This is outrageous.
P.S. Alcohol is a weapon. A drunk is not a patriot, and a patriot not a drunk. It’s a vice used to destroy good men. Stopped drinking a year ago, and I’m on top of my game. Smoke American grown pot, and tobacco, at least it’s an honest vice. Anheuser Busch isn’t even an American Company anymore, it’s a foriegn bought monopoly. Buy bootleg, or in the least support American micro brewers and small batch distillers. Your paying for American quality.

I work only a few miles away from king. nc.
The chief of police was trying to keep the people inside due to major snow and such.
Did not want to risk lives of city workers rescueing stranded cars in snow, ext ext.
I agree it was a bad move on her part…but,.. the reaction she is getting is way over reaching also.
King is a bit of a red neck small town. I understand the freedom issue, but who cared to be out in that snow fall,..and it was bad. and who wants to buy beer and ammo that night.. did it really ruin anyones evening?? i doubt it…
but yes, bad move on her part….should of let them play in the snow.
