You’ve probably heard the conspiracy theories — the Bilderberg Group secretly runs the world, 9/11 was an inside job, a group of elites is working to establish a “new world order.”
The documentary New World Order, which had its world premiere Friday at the South by Southwest film festival, offers an inside look at the people who dedicate their lives to investigating and spreading the word about such conspiracy theories.
The 83-minute movie, by directors Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel, who worked together on 2006’s Darkon, focuses chiefly on Alex Jones (pictured), a documentary filmmaker and talk-radio host with a loud voice, an urgent message and, many times, a bullhorn in hand.

is far better because you can sit through the whole thing at one time, and you should never be skeptical in the face of truth.

Who cares if they bash the movement? Did you bother to realize on the simple fact that they’re linking infowars.com, Endgame and Dark Secrets Inside The Bohemian Grove in their “Mainstream” article? Don’t forget that there are many, many crypto-truthers scattered all throughout the media. Believe that. What, do you expect Lewis Wallace to come out and say that 911 was an inside job right off the bat? No dude! He’ll get his walking papers and then you’ve just lost another possible opportunity to AT LEAST get the word out. Hey listen, they can bash us all they want but believe me when I tell you that these articles are carefully comb filtered during the editing process and the decision to add all of those hyperlinks in a Wired article is all we can ask for. I agree with Claudio. This reminds me of that South Park episode about “truthers”. Sure, they bashed it pretty hard but at least they put the idea out there for millions who aren’t even aware about any of this stuff…and then blatantly putting “911truth.org” on screen for almost a minute?! Heavy Chemtrail spraying is always concentrated over citys and rare in
areas like the national forest. I spent last summer working in Island Park, ID
and the sky was clear and blue all summer long; but then when when I came
back into Idaho Falls it was chem sky as usual. 20 Years ago the sky was always
clear and blue, but now this year alone the chemtrails are the worst I have ever seen.

No kidding. Sometimes I wake up and there’s this strong chemical smell in the air. I always figured it was just the wind blowing in from Jersey (some parts of New Jersey smell like that all the time). Smells to me like fake onion flavoring.

Alas, with all due respect, protecting yourself only when you life is in immediate danger is the philosophy which landed us in this much trouble.
Because the enemy knew many Christian Americans had this philosophy, they were able to surround us and acquire all points of power, without taking that final step of threatening our lives directly.
Also I would like to mention that the idea of slavery is not to kill your prey, but to keep them alive and feed off their labor. So if we follow your advice, as long as they don’t kill us, our slavery must be endured?

I haven’t seen the movie but the reviewer, Lewis Wallace, is so hopelessly condescending that it lends a lot of credence to the idea that WIRED is a hollow propagandist rag for the military industrial complex. The reviewer attempts to marginalize people that have legitimate questions about government and corporate influence on our lives!

Savage had been saying over and over for the last several years of the Bush Presidency that Bush is the worst president of all time. I use to listen to Savage everyday when I lived In an area that had him on terrestrial radio. Over the past year and a half I would listen to his show less and less. I’ve only listened to him for a few minutes in the last 8 weeks. I drove for a living in the Bay Area, so I listened to 910 AM KNEW everyday since 9-11. The Infowarriors go much deeper down the rabbit hole. Savage thinks the Iran President is a Hitler. Savage reluctantly endorsed McCain and had nothing good to say about Rudolph Guilliani. Any time someone would call about the Zionists, Savage would called them Anti semites. I don’t know if he knew the difference between the different Jews.
Savage would get annoyed when people would read bible verses. When Savage would read the Bible on air and talk about endtime prophecies, he would only read the old testament. Savage is a great story teller like Jones, when he would talk about his youth and his rise to a national talk show host. Jones has a much larger International Audience. Savage knows a lot about what The Infowarriors know about but he keeps it a secret. Savage was never a Bush Bot like “Hush Bimbo”, what he would Rush Limbo and “The Wallbanger” Sean Hannity. Jerome Corsi has been a guest on The Savage Nation radio program, but is was always prerecorded. Savage is a good guy, but we need people to go alll out on the Truth Like Y’all Infowarriors. SXSW Review: “New World Order”

Welcome to the New World Order, where 9/11 was an inside job and secretive elitist organizations called the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission and/or the Council on Foreign Relations are plotting our enslavement. Our only hope is a ragtag band of conspiracy theorists, anarchists and anti-globalists, led by the mad prophet of the Info Wars, Alex Jones.
Jones launched his empire more than a dozen years ago on Austin’s public access television, a haven for kooks like the guy who calmly lectured about out-of-control feminism while wearing a toilet seat around his neck. At first Jones seemed right at home, but it soon became clear that cable access couldn’t hold him; his charisma was too fierce, too weird, and worse yet, every once in a while he made sense. But between brain and mouth there was no interlocutor, so although he was capable of the occasional trenchant observation about the trampling of Constitutional rights or the erosion of personal freedoms, it wasn’t worth trying to sift through his elaborate stream-of-consciousness black helicopter fantasias to find them.
That is, unless you buy into the whole global conspiracy, like the subjects of this compelling new documentary from Luke Myer and Andrew Neel (Darkon). Although Jones is the central figure here, we also meet a number of his counterparts and protégés, including 9/11 “Truthers” Luke Rudowski and Seth Jackson, retired police officer and militia-based separatist Jack McLamb, and Turkish-Irish filmmaker Timucin Leflef. They have little in common besides their fiercely held belief in the New World Order.
Myer and Neel aren’t concerned about the reality of these beliefs, and they don’t present any counter-arguments or talking head rebuttals. They don’t have to. In a way, New World Order is an extension of their previous film Darkon, which was about live-action role-playing gamers. That movie’s tagline was “Everybody wants to be a hero,” which could just as easily apply to this one. You don’t need a Ph.D. to figure out the psychology at work here; we’d all like to think our lives our important, and if you can convince yourself that you’re one of the few in the know about what’s really going on in the world, one of the few fighting the good fight against forces bent on destroying you…well, then you have a lot in common with Jones, Rudowski, Jackson and the rest.
Paranoid delusions are contagious in New World Order, and Alex Jones is patient zero. Bloated almost beyond recognition from his early cable access days, his face a puffy fright-mask of popeyed outrage, Jones leads his minions to the hotel where the annual Bilderberg Conference is taking place. He sees his enemies behind every tree and around every corner – he’s continually evading cars he imagines are pursuing him and at one point announces that a nearby bare-shirted bicyclist is clearly Secret Service. When a fire alarm goes off in the hotel just as he’s set to call into a talk radio show, it’s simply more confirmation that They’re Out to Get Him. That he’s living the movie in his mind is evident from the references to The Matrix, Star Wars and even Ghostbusters that pepper his rants.
It’s no wonder that youngsters like Rudowski and Jackson fall so easily under his spell; they admit that before 9/11, they gave little to no thought about the larger global picture, so why wouldn’t they be susceptible to a Hollywood-ready narrative that explains it all? At least Leflef actually channels his paranoia into creative work by making his own dystopian sci-fi films. The others are activists of the worst kind, the perfect storm of self-righteous certitude and blowhard ignorance. A healthy skepticism of government, institutions and the wealthy elite is a good thing, but without ever overtly passing judgment, Myer and Neel show how easily it can curdle into narcissistic rage.
This is a true sign of the times. Instead of arguing facts, the media is now just villainizing us all. Yeah it addictive, yeah we are different. That is the power of the TRUTH!!!!

Just wondering what the round lumps are on Alex’s face in the photo for this story on the home page (on his temple & above his eyebrows). Looks like those implants you can get to change the structure of your face (some goths get them). Maybe it is just trick photography, but it looks pretty obvious! Check it out.

Man, those conspiracy “theorists” are a bunch of crazies. Cuckoo, Cuckoo, black helicopter noises. They actually believe the government wants to harm us, and that they flew planes into the WTC just to bring ‘em down in a controlled demolition? Why even bother with planes when they just could’a blown ‘em up? What a bunch of crazy, mentally-deranged nutjobs. I bet they just believe that crap to simplify their world-view, and bring them comfort. I live in the REAL world, where the government loves everyone, and only wants the best for this country. Seriously, this movie looks like a serious spin-job, making us look like funny-farmers. But provided they don’t edit out Alex providing factual evidence, making clear points, and breaking the left-right paradigm, I think this movie could wake a CRAPLOAD of people up, and plant the seeds of doubt in many more. I just hope clear-thinking people aren’t turned-off by a bunch of loose-screw crazies, as this film will probably make truth-activists out to be.

This movie is bad and so is the 9/11 truther bashing by South Park. People will watch this and automatically associate this movement in a negative way. It’s all about association. They associate people in this movement with crazy dangerous people so that people automatically are closed minded to this kind of thing.

I’m always amazed that the term “conspiracy theorist” is used to demonize those who study this evil system and this documentary seems no better. Anything out of the main-stream, such as Brangelina and American Idolatry, is heralded as a “conspiracy theory.” This is why I firmly believe that it’s all over and the good guys have lost. The elites of the world will enslave us (for they have already) simply because most cannot believe the truth but can believe the lie – that we are free. No Jew in Germany believed that their German neighbors would turn them into the SS, yet it happened, just as most Americans believe the lies that come from their benefactors – that they are free and there is no “conspiracy.”
