Review: The Obama Deception by Alex Jones

Alex Jones, for those who don’t know, is the self-described “tip of the spear” in the Infowar. Jones is a nationally-syndicated radio host with a daily listening audience in the hundreds of thousands and he has directed and produced over 20 documentary films. The most recent film, The Obama Deception, could in time be remembered as one of the most important films in our history. The movie is indicative of being rush-released, which it clearly was. Timing is everything. Mr Jones knew what he was doing in getting this film out to the masses fast and I would venture is evidence of its critical timeliness at this moment in history. Never have so many people been so tantalizingly close to waking up their fellow man to the realities of the world we live in. This film may be the one to finally do that.

Barack Obama, despite what the Madison Avenue spin doctors try to tell/sell us, is not the ONE. I think Alex Jones and his film The Obama Deception might just be the ONE. The title of this film is slightly misleading because it is not a film about Obama per se, his questionable character, or even the legitimacy of his presidency in light of the questions surrounding the true origin of his birth. It does cover some of his campaign messages/promises and his subsequent reversals upon assuming office. Notably he has shirked on his commitment to withdrawal the troops from Iraq and also not to appoint lobbyists to his cabinet.

Some highlights of the 2 hour film are commentary by the extremely balanced and knowledgeable historian Webster G. Tarpley, who is the epitome of calm in a crisis as well as Gerald Celente, top future trends forecaster who long ago saw the onset of Depression 2009 like a dim light down a subway tunnel. The best line in this movie goes to seminal hip-hopper Professor Griff of Public Enemy who asks, “where did we get this sense that just because we have a black man as President everything is going to be OK…everything is NOT going to be OK.”
Another great quote from Gerald Celente speaking of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner – “he was the former President of the NY Federal Reserve and now he’s our Treasury Secretary?” It is truly an absurd appointment – the former NY head of the banker to the government is now running the Treasury!?! That’s exactly why zeitgeist was produced. It’s a dis-info piece. The first and third part of the film are so far-fetch they discredit the “Men Behind the Curtain” portion. zeitgeist does precisely what it was designed to do. It devides, instead of unites.

The Zeitgeist crew are well-intentioned, but also typically lost young Neoliberals- the kind you tend to find in NYC, a city which has all sorts of pecking orders- Intellectual pecking orders, Money pecking orders, Art pecking orders and so on. It’s a city where everyone seems to know everything about everything… or so they think.
The Utopian stuff in Zeitgeist is really capturing the imaginations of young hippies, but it’s the same recycled Utopian stuff which we’ve in seen in 1930’s Germany, and the EXACT same propaganda which was shown to me by NASA in my 2nd Grade Florida classroom assembly. The only difference is Zeitgeist are using this old Theosophist guy in the film, and I will bet you he lives in Greenwich Village, part of the NYC green, intellectual elite.
Zeitgiest promotes Atheism, which is one thing which put a red flag up for me. It’s sad that filmmaker “Peter Joseph”(that’s his stage name, LOL) had to make it an Anti-God film. But that’s NYC for you. All-knowing, all ego.

Phenix: I am not affiliated with any religion but I do know this; if you were for liberty and personal choice, then you would understand why a lot of people have a problem with the whole religion issue and how its handled in Zeitgeist. We all have a right to worship the way we want, no matter what you believe. It really has nothing to do with Jones or Paul. I believe there has been a controlled implosion of the moral fiber of the American People, and part of that is the destruction of religious constructs that some people rely on for peace; no matter who created those constructs.
People with faith: Make sure your relationship with your higher power is yours and yours alone. Don’t follow blindly the leaders of your churches and religious institutions. There is much corruption that lies with those men and women. Always beware those who says they, “represent God”. It is usually a ‘calling’ to power, pride, and control; rather than a ‘call’ to serve God…not always, but pretty often. Look at Ted Haggard, Jimmy Swaggart, Benny Hinn (his personal assistant died of a heroin overdose, and Benny has 2 Rolls Royces last time I checked). And don’t forget about the Catholic Church’s recent hiccups. Also the Episcopal/Anglican Church’s recent questioning of the divinity of Christ. Regardless of what you believe, that seems strange that a ‘Christian’ church would question the divinity of their savior. Question everyone that says they are gonna ’save you’! Obama’s propaganda machine has been preaching the same thing!

I’m back now and was very disappointed. It was at a theatre in Vancouver and about 200-250 people showed up which is good and Vancouver 9/11 Truth was there as well so in that sense it was a success.
My disappointment was in that there was no discussion, Q/A or talks given by anyone, it was only a showing in the theatre of Zeitgeist which I have at home and have seen many many times.
I was hoping for more discussion about some questions and a sharing of opinions. Oh well, maybe next year will be better organized and more open.
I can not, will not comment on the religous aspect except to say ‘the kind of god I belive in ain’t short of cash’. It’s all within us, not without us!
I believe that is a separate issue to which Quantum Physics has more scientific and believable answers. Just my opinion without ill will or spirit to other opinions out there.

This film was wonderfully done. KRS-1 was the highlight of the film – amazing, and seeing everyone gathered outside of the Bilderberg meeting sent chills down my spine – goosebumps. All was backed up by facts. After seeing the film I know that we’re well on our way to a (r)evolution! It was done in such an intelligent manner and with such heart and conviction. Great, great job, Alex, and everyone involved.

I sent links out to 1000s already. I have to thank Alex Jones for this film. It nails what is going on and the timing is perfect. When I visit people, the subject always ends up about the economy which is my opening to let me show them something on the computer. I pull up the film and just tell them to watch it in their own time and let me know what they think of it.
I do make copies, but the internet is so much more powerful to get the word out. People are waking up to what is going on now. Again I can’t thank Jones enough for do this film….now we strike back with information that can go viral and in the elites own news confrences and in their own words.
People won’t read but they will watch a video for information and finally start connecting the dots. Simply make the DVDs or just pull it up on their computer and send out the links and ask them what they think of this. Its a very powerful way to get the message out. I give away prison planet gifts, I give away DVDs, I pull up the film on peoples computer so they can watch.
If your unemployed, if your having hard times, your reading this so send out the link to everyone you know. Do something…anything is better then crying about what is going on.

When I asked why he didn’t broach Barry’s citizenship, the reply was Alex wants to reach the mainstream so he has to keep it simple. Hey! What’s so complicated about O’s citizenship? Either he was born in the US, or he wasn’t. Alex claims his doc does not bother with “red herrings” such as Soetero’s citizenship. A MUST SEE, INDEED!!!!
GREAT review/synopsis. I personally felt the C2C call between Alex and George was a little over the top for the film. I’d prefer to see the David Icke interview about the “delusion of hope” in place of the majority of the Bilderberg footage…. besides that, I think Alex, Rob, and Aaron did an incredible job getting such a great tool in the infowar in our hands so quickly. The animations/graphics were very well produced. And the organization of info was perfect – the doc goes by very fast. And I love the fact that Jones used a softer voice-over. Although I love when Jones was screaming on “9-11 Road to Tyranny” about the paper passport and although I, like every other patriot, is inspired by Jones’ intensity, it was great to hear a softer side of Alex.

Sir I’m not exactly sure what Bible you read or if you truly consider yourself a Christian or not , I’m not one to answer that . To say all Christians will be put to a violent death without defining those reasons is a out there . Now I’m not arguing the point that America in general isn’t a Christian Nation but to say that ALL Americans aren’t true Christians is definitely an unfair and untrue statement. Besides I don’t know what Psalms 91 you’ve read but mine is one of comfort knowing that a true Christians faith in Christ is rewarded with his shelter and that no harm may come to you no matter how bad it gets. The following verse in my opinion describes Ezekiel Chapter 3 “When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for [a] his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.”

Like most AJ’s past movies, there is nothing factually wrong with this one. However, I still feel at times that AJ is creating an atmosphere of tension, in order further his own interests and to trap those impressionible viewers in a state of panic — in other words his is stiring shit up with this movie. I cannot fault him for doing this, due t the fucked state of the world. Oh well.

I think that the film was a real eye opener, i think it should be easier for people to comprehend and not block all the information out because it is more of a documentary and has great facts and visuals for any person to see, the problem is however getting it out to the people who have no idea whats going on and wish to reject any sort of idea that the president is not for the good of the people… which is bullshit to say the least.

I have watched The Obama Deception two times now and I think Alex Jones has done an excellent job in telling the story of what has happened and what is happening. He leaves no holds barred and succinctly lays out who is who in this “new” treasonous administration.

This is an incredibly made film. The footage inside the motel, where the Bilderberg scum were meeting, tied in well with the immerging puppet, Obama. I see the largest problem being the mindstate of the public. Can this film break through to the people who are mostly addicts to controlled substances? I’m talking about nicotine, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, with a hefty addition of television crap and poison food. My family, love them dearly, either yawned at the film, “Endgame”, or expressed to me the conspiracy theory BS. When my own family is asleep or too fearful to desire more information, then I worry I am witnessing a microcosm of our population.

This movie was GREAT. For me it was more of Preaching to the choir, however I made my mom watch it, again the Alex Jones’ movie has opened up her eyes.
I am not here to be too critical, but I have 2 areas to point out.
1. I am used to and LOVE the abundance of evidence Alex just throws out there. When is making a point, instead of just voicing it over, he splahses tones of articles, reports, etc etc. There were a few key points of interest Alex was throwing out there, but I did not see the white papers. I know the information is correct, and for the sake of time, yeah Mr. Jones probably was pressed for time. If there is one thing I have learned from this infowar is Evidence Evidence Evidence. What is better than evidence? More evidence.
I love the fact how the movie did not focus on Obama completely, this is a great start for those not awake yet. Maybe it is my thirst for knowledge, but I also felt like I wanted more. Somehwere I felt that there wasnt enough information, there were plenty, more than plenty, but yes one does have to draw the line. I am looking foward to the additions to this movie because yes, more happens EVERY SINGLE DAY.
2. I am a regular to infowars, I have a prisonplanet subscription. I listen to Jones just about everday, and catch Jason “Weekend at Bermas” Bermas (hope you like that Bermas lol). I am used to the “bigger words” as it were. However the movie really threw my mom off who isnt so intelligent. Hell, even listening to Tarpley, that man throws me off at times. I understand people like Jones, Tarpley and most of the wonder guests in the movie are highly educated and super intelligent, but for the Lamen, it can throw them off. I know it really doesnt fit, but there were no definitions to some of the words that the common lamen will not understand. From my experience, if someone is being spoken to (who is a lamen), by a highly intelligent person, you will lose that person. As a PC Technician, I have realized that you have to calm down the rhetoric for those who may not know what you are talking about. My mom (being the point of direction towards the key audience), was really confused at many times and had to pause the movie and ask me what certain terms were.
OH! now that my brain is now starting to work here, certain names of people and politicans were not defined. Like Kashkari, even though I listen to the show everyday, I forgot who he was, because there seems to be endless names in this infowar.
Watching my mom watch the movie and react, I think it would of been more effective if it was dumbed down, or if anything defined, as to what was what in terms of defintions and bankers, people and politicians. Pretty much 98% of the people were identified, but I do like my stamp of identification on just about everyone and everything haha, beleive me it helps. My mom was lost at many times I will admit, one has to be careful when making a film to identify and speak to the intended audience, and not lose them.
I know Alex was in a rush to make the film, I know the urgency and need to have this film made quickly. What is done is done, I wish time was on his side though, it would of been 20 times more powerful than it is now.

We pray all of the time for endurance for all of us in this fight.
I was afraid, angry and misinformed in 2001 and now because of all of you I feel that my family can survive because we have the strength and the information for action and endurance.

On the Face of it, it might sound appealing to People of the West. We share a common Language and we have a lot similarities and values.

Brilliant film and very much Alex’s best produced joint to date. The information was well sorted and presented. As Derek points out above, much kudos to the entire crew for making it come together so quickly and so well.
The Obama Deception is making the rounds on the torrents and people are talking about this film all over. That’s the result you want.
For Alex Jones, a man who gives away more content than he sells, I boggle. I wish more people were as charitable and such enthusiastic supporters of what’s proper as are the people at infowars.com. It is impossible to have an open minded conversation with certain varieties of christians that claim to be the only true christians.
When I was a kid I actually did some rock climbing near my home out west where there were plenty of canyons. One day this kid fell a ways and grabbed a branch growing out of he canyon wall. We all yelled to him being a newby rock climber, “hang on we’re comming to help you.” Well, he was raised in one of those weirdo christian familes and started to get really scared and talking about “letting go of the branch.” We yelled hang on things are not that bad, we’ll be there shortly and it’s easy to get back up to the top.” Well, we saw him give up and let go and he fell over 50 feet and broke his back. Till this very day 50 years later he’s still in a wheel chair and his family still talks about how he got saved on that bad day.
So, I suggest to you, don’t even try.
I have told this true story more than once and have heard over the years many repeats of it, from broken arms, broken legs, fractured skulls, comas, etc.
So my old friend that fell still goes to his church and is still an advocate of his faith and both receives and gives counseling until this very day and at the clinic where he goes there is the door he goes into for the handicapped and the other door next to it is for victims of child abuse and survivors of parents with substance abuse and till this very day, he’s been saved, praise the lord.
I still read the bible myself and I do have a belief in God, but I also realize that psyopps often impersonates the events of prophesy to control entire nations. It is really frustrating getting sucked in by the wacko’s and I know how hard it can be when goons are under the spell. In such a case it is just better to keep one’s mouth shut and be glad you have a better spiritual connection(sense) of the truth of the matter. That inner voice is your real connection and don’t ever forget it, but as the saying goes, watch out for religious and political debates, where the goons will use anything including thumping the kitchen sink in order to win their view, realizing they won, but only in their own minds.

Do not live in fear, but don’t live your life the way you always have either. Stock up on food and ammo and have some form of shelter and heat.
Depending on your finances, getting prepared this late in the game is going to be difficult for most people, especially in this economy.

It was a good movie, but definitely made in a hurry.
There should be a ‘final cut’ version eventually, extending on important details. And laying out more about the medical agenda and recent assassinations of key people.
Also i noticed some parts being repeated completely. I thought that was a bit confusing.
Although i think one of the more important parts was when Webster G. Tarpley explained in absolute clarity what Fascism actually is. I think many people think that Fascism is simply a WW2 Nazi Germany trade. Even i did not know the exact formula for Fascism.
I thought it was worth wile repeating that.
Although i appreciate Jones blowing the horn and showing the protest as it where, i felt it was a little bit misplaced, or rather dumped in the middle of the film. I personally would have left this part out and put in more details about recent events surrounding Obama.
But all in all. For a movie made in 3 months… Deep respects to AJ. Incredible job!

I think this film breaks down the shadow government system & how it works better than any previous film. Usually it is so hard and complex to explain, but I found the breakdown here to be very easy to follow and understand. A lot of times it’s not that I don’t understand it, but that it is hard to express it in a way that can help others see how it works. Jones is the master at cutting right to the point and telling exactly what it is that we are up against.
When I saw how Jones broke down the system in this film I could feel the NWO shrinking into the bully that finally gets hit and cowers into a fetal position.

Many of the historical “facts” presented in the movie are wrong. *Historically*, the movie is wrong. This has nothing to do with the existance or non-existance of God. I agree totally and these are my thoughts too after watching a low-res version on You Tube. (I pre-ordered the DVD). I was a bit disappointed as Alex has already covered most of the information in his other documentaries.
What does a fire alarm going off at the Bilderberg hotel relate to Obama or deceiving the American public? I forwarded through most of the “field trip” footage as it just strayed off the focus of the movie. There needed to be some heavy editing done to this film. The last 30 minutes were good. I believe if you started with these 30 minutes and then built the film around the points Alex made, it would have been a lot better!
Oh, and Alex? It could have been a coincidence with the fire alarm going off. Not everything is a conspiracy and not everyone is out to get Alex Jones.

I think this is the best Alex Jones documentary to date. I also think that Zeitgeist basher’s should understand some of the points of the film. It doesn’t discredit “God”, just the exploitation of God. After you get past that part of the movie, we all seem to agree.. Hmm. If it really meant that much to you, why don’t you check their sources and compare those to the quasi-fictional sources of a book mostly about a magician. (Reminds me of Harry Potter) To be fair, I view religious doctrines as a philosophical statement. Merely an understanding of how mankind should respect one another. Sort of like how Jesus is worshiped as a dead figure on the cross and Buddha is chillaxin as a gold statue… Both can be bought, btw. Auctioning now the official cross that Jesus was killed on.. wouldn’t that complete your Christmas display with the tree and star? Just to throw another thorn into your side on Christianity, the book of Revelations has long conditioned you to accept what is going on now, and to passively enough accept it. No, I don’t expect this to be posted, but if it is, gratz.

Great film. Buying 100 of them. I wish Alex could have gotten a black intellectual, or some other black figure instead of just these hip hop guys. What about McKinney? Or some Black Panther types?
Celente and Tarpley were fine. But what about people like Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, or bigger names on the “right.” All the right things were said, I just wanted more big names to step forward.
Also, why Tarpley for the global warming hoax? Aren’t there any mainline scientists willing to do the same equation of eugenics and global warming as the great pseudo science frauds of their time?
I liked Jones’ tone in the movie, and the reliance on corporate media footage/reports. More like Fabled Enemies, and won’t immediately turn off many of the obamabots.

Alan Keyes and Mckinney woulda been a nice touch.
It also woulda been important to explore Ziggy’s influence and the role of Israel.
However, I can understand that if you have lawyer’s, they woulda advised you on that.

I would like to state that the film rehashed many things that I was aware of already. Many others interested in the truth may agreee. If the film was aimed to inform Obama supporters, then I believe it may have changed the minds of decent percentage of them. This being said, some people will be pushed further from the truth. I think the film should have found a way to appeal to the Obama supporters that are “die-hard”, then it would taken the people “on the fence with it”.
This discussion should not involve religion. We are trying to get the truth about the corruption of the Banking system out to the ignorant. This seems to be the main goal. Theological discussions simply create a distraction from the issue we are addressing “Corrupt Bankers”. Thats my two cents.

After I watched this I thought Alex should have talked about how Obama was packaged as the new Trinity, three presidents in one, Lincoln, FDR and JFK. You have to be really brain washed by the system to speak against what Alex Jones is doing. Alex will be seen as a Hero by Future Generations.
There are a few commentors here which do not realize how much information there is and Alex could have made a 20 hour film with the info he has, so he had to selectively pick those things which would get the message across in a synopic manner.
He also was not saying that Obama is worse than Bush, he simply stated that they are all puppets and those who are behind them in the shadows are the ones who are ploting against humanity.

Great film. Very well made. This film capture a great deal in a short amout of time. FIVE STAR Although there was one mistake on the map. . While watching you film and the preview to your film I noticed one minor mistake in the map which is presented during the scene where you are speaking about thy encircling of Russia by western influence. You highlighted Armenia on you map and stated it was Azerbaijan instead of Azerbaijan. Working on showing this film every where.

Really it seems to be a greater service to your cause if we draw a line between what we believe and shear conspiracy. This review is correct in that the film is not really about Obama. Please show me one concrete instance where Obama is a ‘puppet’ or ‘figurehead’ that even begins to resemble the symbiosis of Bush/Cheney. If Obama’s appointees do not follow through on their president’s orders and shamefully continue to feed Wall Street against his will then something must be done. Obama *will* be held responsible. But I am hardly convinced he is merely a puppet/slave/what-have-you to Summers, Geithner, Volcker, etc.
This film could just as easily be titled “The Barr Deception” or even “The McKinney Deception”. Instead we have an easy target in the ever-popular Obama. I am reminded of the global celebrity attack ads ran last summer by J. McCain and friends. xD:x
