Texas Governor Rick Perry says the state may secede. Perry made the comment after a Tax Day Tea Party speech he delivered at the Austin City Hall.

“An animated Perry told the crowd,” reports the Houston Chronicle, “that officials in Washington have abandoned the country’s founding principles of limited government. He said the federal government is strangling Americans with taxation, spending and debt.” He later told the media Texas might want to secede from the union. He then said, well, not really.
According to Politico, Perry’s theatrical rejection of Obama’s “stimulus” (debt to the bankers) money has “made him popular among the big government opponents who attended Wednesday’s ‘tea party’ events across the nation.”
Instead these opponents to the banker plan to stack up debt for the foreseeable future are unwittingly falling victim to Perry’s cynical brand of election politics. Perry is running against fellow Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison, who he bombastically defines as part of the Washington problem, not the Texas solution.
Part of his election strategy is to back House Concurrent Resolution 50 confirming the Tenth Amendment.
“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion on the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” he declared on April 14. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”
“He’s all upset about the bailout money, TARP money, the stimulus money. This is great stuff,” gushed Rush Limbaugh, who then said the Department of Homeland Security had Perry in mind when it wrote the right-wing extremist paper posted on Infowars and then broadcast across the corporate media.

Please. Rick Perry is a consummate insider who is merely exploiting the tea party movement for his own shrewd political ends. He was instrumental in the development of the Trans-Texas Corridor, part of the CFR’s plan to build a “North American Community.” He was at the center of a plan to privatize Texas Utilities and sell them off to global investment firms, including the bankster outfits Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse First Boston (see Aaron Dykes, Gov. Perry Summoned to Bilderberg While Insider Trading Charges Mount in Related Texas Buyout). He also advocated subjecting Texans to the HPV vaccine.

Rick Perry attended the Bilderberg Group meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2007. “Robert Black, the governor’s press secretary, said the governor was invited to attend and speak about state-federal relations,” the Dallas Morning News reported on May 31, 2007. It should be noted that state governors are often invited to Bilderberg meetings to be groomed for the presidency, as Bill Clinton was groomed at the Bilderberg meeting in 1991 held at Baden-Baden, Germany.
In June of 2007, Ron Paul said Perry’s elbow rubbing with the cabal of notorious Constitution-hating globalists and royalty should be investigated under the Logan Act. The Logan Act is a federal law that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments and is a felony punishable with imprisonment of up to three years.
The CFR, with Rick Perry’s help, is working to convert “the U.S. from a sovereign Constitution Republic into a servile member of a one-world dictatorship,” as Congressmen John R. Rarick once described it.
He is not a friend of the Constitution and the Tenth Amendment.

Is it a public state-funded school? Check with your school’s ombudsman about filing a complaint with the administration and/or the state. State schools are much more restricted due to the fact that they are primarily funded by the state. Any professor hoping to make tenure (do they do that at state schools?) will shut his mouth real quick if a warning comes down from on high. It’s competitive for faculty positions. Trust me, they will shut up.

I went to a tea party in Tulsa, Ok today. I sometimes think that Alex blows thing out of proportion but he was right on about the neocons co-opting the end the fed and freedom movements. Tulsa’s ‘finest’ peace officers singled me and my buddies out immediately and segregated us from the main crowd because we had a bullhorn and were wearing Investigate 911 shirts.
It was f---ing bulls--- to say the least! The coppers got all huffy puffy and ‘escorted’ us over to the ‘counter protest zone’ about a hundred feet away behind some yellow crime tape. I could not f---ing believe it! So no bullhorn, but we yelled at the top of my lungs about how I only could exercise my free speech in this designated zone, the fed is privately owned, google WTC7, etc.
It actually worked against the coppers because by segregating us from the crowd we drew even more attention – that and our huge 911=Inside Job banner!
What really pissed me off though is the cops said we couldn’t pass out any ‘literature or movies’. What the f--- is happening in this country?!! Its one thing to see this s--- going on in some documentary film, but its a whole other experience to have your own hometown cops treat you like a terrorist because you question the government.

One thing to consider here: I will not argue that Perry was DEFINITELY on “their” side. But I find this very coincidental:
First, in 2007 Perry attended the Bilderberg meeting.
Then, in 2008 his Governor’s mansion was burned to the ground. Arson. They never caught the guy. How did some common “joe” get past the cameras and all of the security? No way … I am convinced at this point that it was a professional job.
And since that time, Perry has seemed to be on “our” side.
It is very possible that he did something (or did not do something) that the Bilderbergs did not like.
The whole situation was very coincidental to me.

What happened to the earlier article that said “Texans to secede from the Union”, where it just about praised Rick Perry for his comments. In that article it said that after he said Texans would want to secede from the union he then said he did not feel like that would be necessary, giving the implication like that was still a possibility. In this article Rick Perry is quoted as saying, “He later told the media Texas might want to secede from the union. He then said, well, not really.” This is quite a different quote than the first. The implications of these two quotes lead to very different conclusions. Please, don’t get me wrong, I love the info that Alex and his researchers give to us, and I realize there could have been confusion between them and there understanding of this disinformant Rick Perry; but where are these totally different quotes coming from, and like I said earlier, the original article is now gone.

AJ is not “compromising his beliefs” by engaging in a conversation. Did you notice how Hartman had nothing to say when AJ backed up his statements with supporting evidence? NOTHING! AJ knows what he is doing, that’s why he is effective and others are not. When you can provide evidence, your statements carry more weight. Keep doing that AJ. Make it a point to remember the sources (just like you have been doing), and avoid being too overt with the “plugging,” or at least don’t use the work “plug.” It’s similar to not letting them see you sweat. My mother is a elementary teacher in San Antonio who is gonna retire in 2 years. Talked to her on the phone a few months ago and she was telling me that Rick Perry is trying to rob the coffers of the Teachers Retirement funds. Not sure how many of you know this but Texas teachers dont pay social security instead they have a teachers retirement fund. Well funny thing is its got money, lots of it, as opposed to social security. Cant have that.. can we…
So Rick gets to appoint the head guy of this fund and guess what he wants to do? Invest all the money in Texas IT companies. Anyone else know a better way to empty a fund then to bet it all on Technology stocks. I dont. Well 8,000-10,000 turned out in Madison, WI and in little old Wausau, Wi we had 2,000-3,000 (they were only expecting 200-300). I keep hearing the term “TEA BAGGING” being thrown around as something comical or suggestive and dirty. Could someone please tell me what the variant on this word means?? I’ve heard different radio talk show people refer to comments being made in reference to this word and I can’t figure out what else it could stand for. If someone could tell me what this refers to…keep it as clean as possible here – but I just would like to know what the big mystery is????????

Well, Colorado held 13 seperate tea parties across the state. The turn out was great. The one in Denver was supposed to be over by one p.m., but it wasn’t quite that easy. More and more people kept coming in. Great turn out, lots of awake and angry people here.
My tax man called yesterday, he told me he would be filing an extension for us. I asked why, he said he knew we are part of the movement/revolution and he was doing this for all of his clients who wish to make a statement to the gvt., He also told me he filed one for himself, saying that this year there have been more extensions filed nationwide than in any other year in history. By doing this, there is hope that the gvt. will take a good look and see who REALLY holds the power
in this country. I agreed and thanked him. Who knows, we still just may not file at all. f--- ‘em.
I don’t owe them, and they have nothing I want. So for all ya all, file or don’t. What difference does it make? If you have money that’s due you, file, if not, forget it.

I just wrote the governor of the state of North Carolina and asked why didn’t the state declare it’s sovereignty? I guess because they know they are so broke they’d rather sell out their own citizens for federal dollars and yrs of forced servitude to a debt that cannot nor will it ever be repaid off. I also told her that I was ashamed to be am American at this point and time and that I was also ashamed to tell anybody where I was from. And I also let her know that if you take away the people’s right to feed themselves and their families that it would cause civil unrest and that she should have decided before whether or not our state could survive but then again I know she would have to raised taxes again,and then she would be in a s--- storm of trouble
Hell, the education lottery is supposed to be used for helping out the schools,that’s what it was put into place for.She wanted to dip into that and the people came out of the walls threatening to sue the state if she even dared to touch that money! She was gonna use it to pay off some of the state’s debt and the lawmakers and everyone told her, “Hold up girl! Not so fast!”
It’s just a damn mess she’s gotten us all into here and I told her that we as Americans should fire the goddamned Federal Reserve and fire all the politicians who are in bed with them. And we should dare them to try and come back. And we should use the Constitution as the means to demand the immediate repeal of all of these banking laws and file lawsuits against the banks for treason,in effect because that’s exactly what they did. And i would try every politician who is a part of this for the crime of treason against the United states of America . And the bankers would be the first to be hung.
They hijacked the govt and said if you don’t play ball, we will break you.
I would have thought long and hard about the financial situation before accepting any monies from the govt whatsoever! But no, this damn state is so broke they can’t pay their bills and it s their own goddamned fault. Now she’s happy because we’re gonna get the billions to spend on roads and infrastructure. Big deal. What about when those jobs are finished? See, then we go right back to doing nothing again. I swear, I wish people had not voted her into office.

This is the man that wasted tax dollars, calling three special sessions on redistricting in back in 2003! It cost us tax payers in Texas over 10 million dollars. Also his redistricting in mid term took away my vote, because after it passed the congressman I voted for ended up in another district.
