Popular and unpopular economists (mostly unpopular according to the mainstream media) have been predicting the collapse of the US dollar as the reserve currency (or petrodollars) of the world for a couple decades now. It seems that their predictions are finally coming to fruition. Most of the gold brokers practice what they preach, they foresee the imminent demise of the American dollar and hold a large portion of their personal assets in gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
Meanwhile all people who live in the United States need to pay their mortgage and buy food, clothing, gas, oil, electricity with the American dollar. If you are sitting on a large cache of gold or silver, you need to liquidate it to buy items you need immediately.

The insurance “industry” is a racket, a fraud, a scam. How many industries do you know of that are able to lobby for legislation making it illegal not to buy their products? No other industry in the world has this power to use the strong arm of the law to compel you to buy what it sells – which is nothing tangible or of any value at all. When you file a claim against your policy, you are merely getting back a small portion of what you’ve paid the insurance company. And if you ever need their “service,” you will be penalized by being made to pay them even more for it. If you refuse to buy their “products,” you will be denied the right to drive your own car on the roads, streets and highways that your tax dollars have paid for. I can’t imagine any other industry wielding this kind of clout. Think about it. What if auto makers had the legal power to compel you to buy a car? What if builders could legally compel you to buy a house? What if surgeons could legally compel you to submit to a surgery you don’t even need? Absurd? It’s not any less absurd that people spend billions of dollars each year paying money to the insurance “industry” in exchange for what amounts to nothing.

Well bro, it’s because once upon a time when you bought optional insurance you bought your own insurance to cover your own car! Then if you were in an accident than they covered the damage to your car! If the insurance cost too much than you just didn’t have to buy any. That kept the costs low. What I’m talking about is the fact that, since at least 1974, it’s been ILLEGAL to NOT have automobile liability insurance. There isn’t any other industry in the world that has conned legislators into making it illegal to not buy their products or services. Besides, “insurance” is a scam. You’re paying thousands of dollars for nothing and, in the event you ever need it, they’re just giving you back some of the money they’ve been taking from you. Then they penalize you by raising the amount of money you have to pay them. Our ancestors didn’t live like this. They saved their money to cover their own asses, so when some catastrophe happened, they were usually prepared for it. The insurance companies aren’t doing you any favors. They are extorting money from us all and they enlisted the government to make us pay them. If we don’t, we can’t even drive our cars, which are supposedly our own property. You only THINK you need insurance because you’ve been brainwashed into accepting it as a normal part of life to be compelled by law to have to buy it. Thirty-five or forty years ago, it was a matter of free choice.

Don’t forget that other countries have to use dollars to buy their oil. Where do they get those dollars? They have to trade for them. These countries have to sell the United States a bunch of Chinese goods, Japanese TV’s and German BMW’s to get their dollars. Those countries can then buy the oil using those dollars acquired through trade. OPEC deposits those dollars from the sales of oil into its account at the Federal Reserve Bank. (Remember! When a bank takes in deposits, they are then allowed to issue credit. An example would be a mortgage. Your mortgage is a fraction of the checking accounts, savings accounts and certificates of deposits of the bank’s customers. The rest of the money comes from the Federal Reserve! I skipped a couple of steps but, it originates from the Federal Reserve. This is the basic concept of credit)
So therefore, the federal reserve constantly has dollars deposited from oil sales and then issues more and more credit to the US government (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, GSA’s, and other government entities, etc). Of Course the Federal Reserve charges interest too. So now, anyone can see that this recycling of the dollar represents the Fed’s giant money tree that is growing larger and larger and larger. This phenomenon is called Petrodollar Recycling.
So consider this. When Iraq began to trading its oil in Euro’s back in 2000-2001, it became a huge threat to the US Economy, a financial weapon of mass destruction. The US and President Bush knew it had to stop Iraq. The Iraq war was truly about oil or should I say how oil is traded.

Many listeners hang on your every word, so when you peddle investing advice (very bad idea) they put their hard-earned money where tehir mouth is. Don’t you see that you are a reporter and not a gold investing advocate/lobbyist? Don’t you think there is conflict of interest here? Don’t you see the parallel between the kind of stuff you fight against and the kind of shameless peddling of gold you do here? I hope other listeners/viewers will speak up too. I’m not against what Alex is fighting for here, I’m against this side-bar business. There are no sure things in investing. It is risky. And gold is not exempt from that. I hear ya, Shaggy. I’ve gone round and round about AJ and here’s my conclusion. Like any person, you can find things to critisize him about, many valid. He can be sensationalist at times, argumentative, and even aggresive. That said, the information found on his sites cannot be found in one place anywhere else. This is a repository of solid information on the truth of the NWO. It is a great place to gather information and then move forward with your own research. He’s not perfect, but none of us are; sometimes he really pisses me off. However, he has done more to expose the truth than anyone else I know of, and I check out a lot of good sites. For this alone, he will go down in history as one of the greatest Patriots of all time.

I trusted these folks because of owner Ted Anderson’s radio spots on the Alex Jones Radio program (out of Austin TX). Anderson’s pitch that they buy when the market’s low and sell when the market’s high at only a little above their buy price was convincing. The average AJ listener doesn’t have any knowledge of the coin market trusting Mr. Anderson not to rip them off.
Unfortunately I learned the hard way Midas Resources does rip people off with very high mark ups on their common gold coins. In January of 2009 I bought thousands of dollars of $5 liberty gold coins at $400 and $429 a piece. With the rising price of gold I thought when I called Midas to sell off a few for some quick cash I’d be offered near the same price. Unfortunately I learned the coins were only worth a little more than half of what I paid at $236. This was just 10 months later after gold rose significantly so my losses were even greater in reality.
If you think maybe this is an anomaly having to with gold, think again. For their half dollar silver Walkers they advertised them at practically wholesale prices on the Alex Jones Show. In January of 2009 I bought a bag of 200 Walkers for $1,700. Ten months later the bag is worth $975. As you can see, Midas commonly marks up their precious metals to around 35-40% while claiming in radio ad spots they sell at nearly wholesale levels. They are con artists who will say anything.
I spoke with a local coin dealer who says its common for people to be scammed by radio advertisers this way. He said these companies may indeed have large overhead to justify their mark-up but obviously you can find much better deals in the marketplace then buying coins from Midas Resources.
I lost about $9,000 but have addressed the situation with another coin dealer who is helping me to recover the loss. Most coin dealers only market up 5% as their commission. Midas marked up around 40% and that’s a crying shame scam in my book.
The Midas rep Ed Stately is a smooth talking good guy character but won’t hesitate to misrepresent facts to get the sale. I detected considerable deception from this salesman. I spent considerable amount of time on the phone and he knew all along I was getting royally screwed with the sale.
Don’t trust these guys, their mark-up is way, way too high and the fact Ted Anderson tries to make it seem like he’s doing Alex Jones listeners a favor selling his coins at nearly wholesale price, is a joke to say the least. They’re lying to people. Check out the real market value of coins prior to purchase, don’t trust these kind of large operations that feed off of people’s ignorance of their market.
