Congressman Ron Paul says that the bailout bill is likely to pass, heralding a 10-year plus economic depression for America and the potential for martial law should civil unrest arise as the financial meltdown worsens.

Speaking on The Alex Jones Show, Paul said of the bailout, “They want dictatorship, they want to pass all the penalties and suffering on to the average person on Main Street,” adding, “We will have a depression or recession, it’s locked in place due to previous Federal Reserve actions.”
“When they say that if we don’t do exactly as they say and turn over more of our money and more of our liberties and exempt themselves from any court in the whole nation, they’re trying to intimidate us and lead us into doing the wrong thing,” said Paul.
The Congressman added that serious problems would arise if nothing was done to address the problem, but that more serious consequences would follow should the bailout be passed.

Paul warned that the only question was whether the meltdown would last one year or ten years and how much liberty would be lost in that time frame.
“It looks like from I see in Congress, that they’re opting for a decade plus of depression rather than saying let’s correct our ways, let’s balance the budget, let’s bring our troops home,” said Paul, adding that the same course of printing money would continue – prolonging the agony and preventing a necessary correction.
Asked if civil unrest was a possibility in the midst of an economic depression, referencing a recent Army Times report concerning the use of active duty military being brought back from Iraq for “Homeland patrols” and “crowd control,” Paul questioned, “Are we going to have martial law or are we going to have more freedoms? The more problems that we have, the more likely it is that we’re going to have martial law, so I do think they anticipate and they plan for these things.”

Asked if criminal investigations and prosecutions of individuals on Wall Street should commence, Paul agreed but said that the main target of criminal inquiry should be the Federal Reserve board itself because, “That’s where the fraud is.”
“They want to be lawless, they don’t want to be held accountable,” he added.
Paul said that grand juries should be convened to take on prosecutions rather than the FBI becoming involved, stating, “We have proper authority with that and experience with it and the Enron case is a good example.”
The Congressman said that Greenspan and Bernanke should be criminally charged but that such an effort would be largely symbolic. “Morally speaking, they’re the culprits,” said Paul.
Asked what his solution to the crisis would be, Paul said, “I think the most important thing to do is to send the message that we’re going to quit living beyond our means and the president can set the standard for that and he has the most control under the Constitution on foreign policy – he can say no more wars, we’re done with the wars, we’re not going to take on the Russians, we’re not going to take on people in Venezuela, we’re going to start talking to the Cubans and bring our troops home and save hundreds of billions of dollars – that would send a powerful message that the dollar would respond to and oil prices would come down.”
Paul said that Americans had to accept a new idea of government that harked back to what the founders envisaged and that the welfare state would have to unravel along with aspirations of building a geopolitical empire.
“In the meantime the policy ought to be – shrink the size of government, decrease regulation, work towards sound money, remove the authority of the Fed to create money out of thin air and get tax reduction,” stated the Congressman. Paul added that eliminating the income tax would mean everybody becoming a lot richer and more money would be ploughed into the economy.
“It will not solve the problem, it just delays the inevitable,” said Paul of the bailout, adding that he expects the bill to pass in a move that would, “Defy the American people.”
“I think they get to the point where they think they’re like God and can control everything and they don’t realize that the market really is more powerful than all the bankers and all the politicians….Ultimately the underground economy is the real economy and I think they could over step themselves and hopefully we could come out with a better world afterwards,” concluded the Congressman.

His ideas are very classical liberalist. Free markets reign supreme. I just don’t fully agree with deregulation in the sense of allowing conglomerates to grow. Isn’t that a whole other problem of corporations growing to ridiculous power that they begin to create monopolies which inevitably control the prices and thus puts them in control of the market?
Governments should interven in the markets only to create a fair playing ground. Ie., not allowing oligarchies or monopolies to be created. Other then that, I like everything else this fellow is harpin’.

The Congress and the Bankers are meeting as we speak. They will take the time, in the next two days, and they will be contacting each member of Congress who is unwilling to fleece the American Idiots, and let them know that if they do not vote yes on this bailout bill, they will no longer have their careers in politics. The weak members of the Corruptgress will bow down to the money barons and the bill will pass in an overwhelming majority. Then all the bankers and financial criminals, along with the rest of the bunch will cash in.
We’ll all piss and moan and type nasty things and we’ll say we’re going to get our guns and fight, and say who’s at fault and why, then we’ll get done typing and go watch TV. We’ll do nothing, just like we are doing now, and not one so-called man of America will stand up.
Mark my words, if this passes, which it will, the next months to come will have things happen we have never seen in our lifetime. But, our forefathers warned us all throughout history, instead we chose to watch TV and buy s--- to keep up with the Jones (no pun intended) and now we will face our country’s own demise for our weak and cowardly actions of doing nothing but type on a computer as our weapon. What a joke we are as citizens.
Even Ron Paul knows that they will pass this bill, no matter what it takes they will get their bill passed, just as they did with the Federal Reserve Act. Which, I scratch my head and think, why aren’t we talking about abolishing what started all this? Oh, never mind, that would require educated people to understand it. That leaves Alex Jones and the who was responsible for 9-11 crowd out. I can’t understand how even if you knew for sure who was behind 9-11, how it would have any impact in the financial markets and the economy meltdown about to happen, I will never know.
You all have good intentions, you ‘re just chasing a ghost with 9-11 though. If you want to find something out that will help, then inform all you know about the Federal Reserve System, and how if you abolish it and remove the robbers, all this goes away.

It’s unfortunate that Ron was not very aggressive during his campaign. Then again, the American people are, for the most part, a very dumb lot. They tend to focus on inconsequential nonsense instead of real issues. I doubt that a true patriot will ever win the White House, at least in our lifetime. The American people have been spoiled and entertained into a state of oblivion that is nearly impossible to shake them free of…we’re doomed.

The illegal institution of The Federal Reserve has been acting in violation of the Constitution since it’s approval to illegally print, loan and charge interest on THEIR “money”. If the people rescind this abominable act and regain these simple but essential powers – problem solved. Instead of interest collected on debts line the pocket of the private banksters it could pay for government functions (which need to be limited, too, but I think this simple step would begin that process). We would immediately see the reduction of all local, county, state and federal taxes. The other key part is there has to be “hard” money on the street. Hard money could be spent (not lent) into the economy by the people for public works projects (hopefully not military). The hard money would facilitate debtors in paying both principle AND interest. Inflation would be controlled by controlling the quantity of money based on economic factors. Independent economists (the more the merrier) would compile economic data indicating whether the money supply should shrink by stopping the issuance of credit to hedge against inflation or increasing interest rates, whether the money supply should increase by spending money into the system via public works projects or decreasing interest rates, or whether the money supply should remain constant. The key is the interest must go into the public coffers and not given to people who covet Damian Hirsch art. To me it seems like such a simply concept but I have had trouble explaining and convincing many loved ones and others. On the other side some (less than not, unfortunately) agree something is wrong and has been for, basically, all of their lives. A simple sniff test can tell almost anybody that.

This resolution was introduced by none other than Ron Paul and is known as the “Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act” which will repeal the Federal Reserve Act and abolish the US Federal Reserve at the end of 1 year after its passing into law. This is the only thing that will truly save the American economy. Everybody go start blogging and e-mailing everyone you know with this info. It’s time for everyone to write your local and state officials as well as your congress and urge them to support this resolution. Lets do this.

Whether or not the elite are 100% successful in their cabals, a dark age is fastly approaching. Troubles have come and gone throughout the ages. Predicting doom and gloom is like predicting the sunrise, only that the cycles are on different time lines. I used to promote fierce resistance, buy my heart has mellowed. Anyway, #5 Washington, I’ve been training for this for over a decade, knowing full well that this training would NOT be for nothing. I didn’t do it just for fun, although I do have a lot of fun at it.
There are many, many “civilian tactical units” preparing for their call. Like me, many of them have been gearing up for this event for a long time, even longer than I.
You are right that most Americans will go back to their computers to wail and gnash their teeth. But, I will be up in our ATO, finishing off the last few lessons of the current training cycle. The good news is that we have increased our numbers nearly four-fold and I hear new people will be starting the next cycle on Sunday afternoon.
I have also attended five meetings with five different groups – who see what’s coming and who are preparing. I would guess their total number to be about fifty people. For each of those, I would guess there are ten more who are doing the same thing. Not a big number just yet, but an exponentially growing number. When the rest feel that jackboot on their nuts, I expect that exponential growth to become geometric.

I’m not saying that his writing is going to save us, but what he proposes under some of the “Additional Titles” is viable. This is where we must go. Also get his book, “Constitutional ‘Homeland Security’, Volume I: The Nation in Arms”. What it will take is a bunch of people, beginning with one individual – to implement his proposed solution, although not exactly the way he recommends we go about it. The time for creating the “Associations” he proposes, to “mainstream” these constitutional entities – are way past over. However, I’ve corresponded with him and we have agreed that we should “build it and “they” will come”. Create the constitutional citizen’s organization – and people will come.
This is the beginning. We all must figure out exactly where we are in all this so that our timing is right. However, inaction is worse than worthless.

Today and last evenig, I have read countless articles and read I don’t know how many comments and considering the current happenings in Washington in light of the outcry against this absured bailout bill have come to the conclusion that nothing said thus far has really made any difference. Literally for years we have been comenting on several undesired issues only to see that almost nothing has changed. Our Drugs are now being made in China, we no longer have any manufacturing to speak of, our food is shipped in from who knows where, our unemployment is over 27%, we are fighting wars for another country all based on lies and now our Zionist controlled government want you and I, America’s still working and retired, to bail out the banks on Wall Street after they miscalculated the number of Golden Eggs this goose could lay.
How many years have we been writing on this and other sights? Why do the powers that be not hear what we have been saying? Could it be that they have discovered that most that write are so frail, are so scared, are so limpwristed that they wouldn’t take a swing at another if their mother was under attack? Yes, I think that just may be it. They, the powers that be, know that all these extremely well thought out possible resolutions to the current problems are just so much hot air and harmful to none of them so they simply have and will continue to ignore them.
It seems to me that the time has come to say “Ok, we’ve had enough”. Either changes are instituted now or you are facing another American Revolution. I’m not talking of a verbal revolution, I talking of a full blow knock down drag out fight after which we can install another government. Not the desired resolution you say? Yes, that is true but without such an uprising we are facing martial law, followed by slavery, read the first half of “Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” and you will see that the same outline is being followed here. The second half of that book starts tomorrow, is that what you want? Were the blogs to become filled with coment after comment written by thoes willing, as I am, to give “the last full measure of devotion” you can bet your future that things would change and quickly. If they don’t then it’s time to enact such a measure and cure the problem. Our problems will not be solved by the currently elected problem solvers as they arre paid to much, not by you and I but, by big pharma, Wall Street, foreign countries and major manufacturers . They will not give up that money, it must be taken from them and that will either be done by you and I or eventually another country which will more than likely be as bad or worse than if we did nothing.
Many will undoubtedly comment against this course of action, and every one will be nurishment to those that wish to control and or kill you. It’s time to lead, follow or get the hell out of the way.

The main problems in this capitalist society are the following:
1. money follows the osmosis principle, it goes from less , to more concentration, and then it CLUMPS
2. everyone has a price, the level of tradition and morality of the target, only determines how high the price will be.
With those 2, you invariably end up in a vicious circle that only leads to a few people owning it all, and everyone else dying in famine.
I propose POST-CAPITALISM , where we solve this connundrum by doing this:
1. money gets tied to to a measurement of “deal fairness”, and when you rake in X many unfair deals, you just go to the desert to water it, or to africa to help out, for a 5 year period, no cash or phones.
2. every person with more than 1 million bucks in any bank gets automatically put in a list to go do the same as (1) , but only for 1 year, and he can use all his cash to help out too.
This will take care of the osmosis, and it will also take care of greed. Greed will be rewarded with hard labor in appaling conditions.

This is called for in our Constitution and in the attached Articles of Amendment. This is how tyranny is finally halted, when all our other rights are rendered null and void. yes…Write-ins count in my state and they publish them – all of them. Mickey Mouse got two votes in the last election. While you are right – the machine cannot read the letters the little arrow you fill in counts it as a write in and if the panel (I think there are at least seven people observing) can read it it will be documented and verified by the rest of the panel. Several of us in our meetUp have called the Sec of State and we feel pretty confident that write-ins on the election day will be counted in our state. I can’t wait to place my DON’T BLAME ME I VOTED FOR RON PAUL bumper sticker right next to my original Ron Paul bumper sticker.
I even asked Ron Paul in person if he would mind if I did this at the leadership training. He said he didn’t mind BUT that I shouldn’t expect any wonderful results AND that he would not “sign” anything that says he is suggesting people do this.

We are headed for chaos, anarchy and eventual revolution. Whether or not the bailout passes, the result will be the same. I can’t wait!
As the markets crash, businesses go bankrupt, people lose their jobs, the government loses tax revenue, government employees lose their jobs,(police, armed forces, etc…)government subsidized entities, housing, hospitals, food programs will go under.
All these immigrants legal or otherwise are here for one thing and that is a job. When these jobs dry up, what will they do?

Bernake and Greenspan should be in jail for criminal misconduct. The Federal Reserve Bank is useless and should be abolished; their sole purpose was to create greater stability for the U.S., not rake in obscene profits for the bankers they represent.
Then I got “thanked” and was cut off by the moderator….but here’s the MORE I wanted to say:
Don’t even try to blame this fiasco on the American people. The American people have been listening; we are not a nation of sheep. We REFUSE to accept that it’s our job to bail out ANY business.
Let the banking CEOs tap into their own private assests (multiple homes, airplanes, yachts, etc) to bail themselves out, as citizens would have to do to save their own business.
Just like in the Great Depression, these same bankers were eager to support risky ventures that caused the collapse of the monetary system. Everyone agrees that the crash followed a boom that took hold in the late 1920’s that led to bankers lending small investors more than 2/3 of the face value of the stocks they were buying.
That’s why the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 was enacted, to mandate a separation between commercial banks (which take deposits and extend loans) and investment banks (which underwrite, distribute stocks, bonds and other securities).
Once again, the waters have gotten muddied. Through deregulation, the same bankers have used every loophole at their disposal to engage in risky behavior.
And now they want us to bail them out? They purposefully creating the rockiness we saw on September 29th and the drop to force our hand. Nice try, but no thanks.

Ron Paul’s formula for “success” is to let corporations run the world in any lawless way they see fit. He doesn’t say that directly, but it unequivocally falls directly out of his “deregulation” ideology.
In a nutshell, here’s Ron Paul’s world:
SINCE Anyone can enter into any kind of contract with anyone else so long as they both agree to it.
AND ALL drugs are totally legalized
AND prostitution is totally legalized
THEN drug pushers (who will organize into a corporation) will have their own TV station where they have a “reality TV show” showing how great it is to be a cocaine addicted prostitute… show them going to glamorous parties, meeting famous people, living a “fun” life instead of working… and you can get your free cocaine if you are over 18 and call this number… come visit the ranch…stay for free and if you aren’t sold on the Lifestyle after three months, you can leave, no hard feelings and no money owed! Wow sounds great! Just the sort of thing I want to have to battle with my kids over…
Yeah Ron Paul’s world is full of freedoms. The freedom for sociopaths to run riot while Ron Paul stands up on his soapbox and exhorts everyone that the choices they make are entirely up to them and their safety is their responsibility.
If your baby dies from poison milk (poison everything , really since there’s NO REGULATION – dam gooberment!! ), then you can SUE that company, then that company will go out of business and that’s how things SHOULD be.
They kill your kid, you get to sue.
Then other companies will not POISON your food of course , because they see the other company being sued.
Doesn’t sound realistic? Think they won’t care if they’re sued? Think some people in the company will take the money and run?

The average American is a sheep. We are raised to be followers, to believe that we need big gov’t to help us because we can’t possibly provide for ourselves. The federal reserve bank is not even attached to the gov’t, it is a privately owned company, built for the sole purpose of making a few international banking elites more money and granting them control. The current globalization scam is merely a way of making slaves of every citizen, not only of the U.S., but every citizen of every nation. I am afraid that the people will never wake up and realize that we are all meant to be free and we were intended to govern ourselves. I did not come to this realization until I had served 8 years in the military for my gov’t. I am no longer a participant in that world, I now serve my country by trying to free as many minds as possible. Revolution is the only way. I have become a great admirer of Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Cynthia McKinney recently. Thomas Jefferson was more than a founding father, he was a prophet, and his words carry much more weight today than when he made his famous quotes. Think for yourselves.

The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state,but from the hand of God-JFK,1961. This generation as all before and all that come after have the Revoluntary right to alter or abolish the government.This is not some silly idea for weakminded fools who are content with nothing ,but rather the responsibility of good citizens everywhere with the idea to perserve liberty for all.There may soon come a time when we will be called from the ranks and asked to take sides once again in the Eternal struggle for liberty.How we answer will be remembered for better or worse to the latest generation….
