In a nutshell, here’s Ron Paul’s world:

SINCE Anyone can enter into any kind of contract with anyone else so long as they both agree to it.
AND ALL drugs are totally legalized
AND prostitution is totally legalized
THEN drug pushers (who will organize into a corporation) will have their own TV station where they have a “reality TV show” showing how great it is to be a cocaine addicted prostitute… show them going to glamorous parties, meeting famous people, living a “fun” life instead of working… and you can get your free cocaine if you are over 18 and call this number… come visit the ranch…stay for free and if you aren’t sold on the Lifestyle after three months, you can leave, no hard feelings and no money owed! Wow sounds great! Just the sort of thing I want to have to battle with my kids over…

Yeah Ron Paul’s world is full of freedoms. The freedom for sociopaths to run riot while Ron Paul stands up on his soapbox and exhorts everyone that the choices they make are entirely up to them and their safety is their responsibility.

If your baby dies from poison milk (poison everything , really since there’s NO REGULATION – dam gooberment!! ), then you can SUE that company, then that company will go out of business and that’s how things SHOULD be.

They kill your kid, you get to sue.

Then other companies will not POISON your food of course , because they see the other company being sued.

Doesn’t sound realistic? Think they won’t care if they’re sued? Think some people in the company will take the money and run?

Bernake and Greenspan should be in jail for criminal misconduct. The Federal Reserve Bank is useless and should be abolished; their sole purpose was to create greater stability for the U.S., not rake in obscene profits for the bankers they represent.

Then I got “thanked” and was cut off by the moderator….but here’s the MORE I wanted to say:

Don’t even try to blame this fiasco on the American people. The American people have been listening; we are not a nation of sheep. We REFUSE to accept that it’s our job to bail out ANY business.

Let the banking CEOs tap into their own private assests (multiple homes, airplanes, yachts, etc) to bail themselves out, as citizens would have to do to save their own business.

Just like in the Great Depression, these same bankers were eager to support risky ventures that caused the collapse of the monetary system. Everyone agrees that the crash followed a boom that took hold in the late 1920’s that led to bankers lending small investors more than 2/3 of the face value of the stocks they were buying.

That’s why the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 was enacted, to mandate a separation between commercial banks (which take deposits and extend loans) and investment banks (which underwrite, distribute stocks, bonds and other securities).

Once again, the waters have gotten muddied. Through deregulation, the same bankers have used every loophole at their disposal to engage in risky behavior.

And now they want us to bail them out? They purposefully creating the rockiness we saw on September 29th and the drop to force our hand. Nice try, but no thanks.
