A little off the subject….My 10yr son goes to school in San Antonio…They had “mock voting” at his school and he was going to vote for Ron Paul (not a legal write in Texas) or Ralph Nader (a legal write in)….So when he goes to “vote”…he is informed that he is only allowed to vote for McCain or Obama…AND THAT OBAMA IS GOING TO REDUCE THE SCHOOL WEEK TO ONLY 4 DAYS PER WEEK!!

Those in Montana and other states where Paul was on the ballot are lucky. Here in Oklahoma, for the first time since the presidential election of 1976, there were no third party candidates for president on the ballot at all, to my shock, horror, surprise and disgust. So, I crossed out the names of Obama and McCain and wrote “CHUCK BALDWIN” in big letters across my ballot. Of course, it didn’t count, as Oklahoma has outlawed write-in candidate voting, but, at least I had my say, in a small way, and without selecting either of the CFR’s sock puppets.

ron paul never said he’d continue as third party if he didn’t get the nomination. an old man no matter how great can only do so much. stop whining and move forward. running as a third party is more a symbolic gesture and ron paul was trying to enact real change. they cheated him out of it, so he went on to new and hopefully bigger things, as we all should.
