Ron Paul was interviewed by Alan Colmes on his radio show last night. They discussed Ron Paul’s recent comments regarding secession along with those of Texas Governor Rick Perry.

Once again Ron Paul hammers his talking points home during the interview. Linking the economic crisis with American empire and transitioning the secession talk into the drug war, using federal drug raids in California as an example.

It is fascinating to listen to Ron Paul work his left-right magic. He focuses on the Left’s talking points when on liberal radio and the Right’s points when on conservative radio stations. Many say that Ron Paul doesn’t play politics, but it is obvious he frames his words around the audience listening to him.

Listen to the entire interview in two parts below.

Ron Paul’s message is consistent – follow the Constitution. I’ve heard him on “right” and “left” wing news and he doesn’t deviate from that position.

Alan Colmes is an idiot. I don’t know why AJ has him on. People like him never research the facts before forming an opinion or making an argument. AJ made Colmes look so stupid after the commercial break, despite the fact that AJ was pulling his punches and at times even dropped his hands.

    3. The Glorified Janitor Says:

“People on both the left and right belive there really hasn’t been a change in policy ” I think I hear a theme for 2012 emerging.

Ron Paul is ok, his intentions are sincere. On the other hand, the asshole Alex Jones only cares about getting money out of your wallet. Keep supporting this loser by buying his gear.

Golden statement, “We kill a lot of people making the world understand our goodness.”

Alex Jones puts his life on the line every day by speaking out against very rich and powerful people if you don’t know that by now you are at the wrong site, if you don’t like his message go listen to Sean Hannity and drink his “Cool aid”

    7. James Says:

The American Empire. A pseudo-empire, brought to you by AIPAC.

He’s just trying to use their language so they can’t refuse to listen. He remains consistent on every issue he discusses. His points are neither left or right. They are about the law of the land, The Constitution!

A much maligned argument these days.

Btw, for the rest, we aren’t a democracy and according to The Constitution never were. We are a republic. And if you don’t know the difference then you can’t call yourself American.
