Royal Bank of Scotland poised for biggest loss in UK banking history

The Royal Bank of Scotland is poised to unveil the biggest loss in UK banking history after taking a hit of almost £6 billion from the credit crisis.

Britain’s second-largest bank is this week expected to reveal a pre-tax loss of at least £1 billion for the first six months of the year, with analysts warning it could slide to as much as £1.7 billion in the red.
The loss would be roughly five times higher than the deficit racked up by Barclays in 1992 at the height of the last recession.
RBS chairman Sir Tom McKillop is already under pressure from investors after the bank’s recent £12 billion rights issue. His chief executive, Sir Fred Goodwin, who marks 10 years at the bank this weekend, also faces shareholder scrutiny.

OK…. I guess that this it it! The melt down on Great Britain has begun in the banking system. The shit is spreading and it will infect everyone on the planet. It’s happening in The USA and getting worse by the day. This downward spiral means death and degradation to all that survive this general breakdown. Look at it another way…. without a common language in finance you do not communicate! If you do not communicate , NOTHING gets done or understood!
God help us!

Sell everything, buy an Rv and just give up chasing “their money/debt” system…help anyone who needs…in other words, everybody be good human beings and share what you have and help others to help themselves and this could be a good thing. It is the disease and chemtrails I would be more concerned about.
We need to look to the words of “Freeman” of the Freeman Perspective….he is very good at “reminding” me and others of how to just go with the flow of the universe. Keep playing that counterfeit money and you lose and will always lose. Money is the root of all evil, everyone knows that and your living through the proof. Get rid of that shit and lock up the folks who “imposed” that system on us. There is no reason why we can’t all live together without fighting. We could all be living and helping each other to have what we need and live clean healthy lives without all of the bull that Money and it’s associated industries create for us.
Check out “freemantv.com…he doesn’t sugarcoat anything, but somehow makes you feel better about this. If you have lost a connection with your spirit and think “love” is cheesy, you might not appreciate what he has to say. I think his philosophy of just “stopping” …get out of debt and just use what you need and concentrate on talking and socializing with other people again so that you can ” we are all good people” they show us the bad ones on Tv everyday to convince us that we are bad. This is part of the programming. If everyone could grasp this simple solution, we could avoid this all together. I realize that might shooting for the moon. but when it is all you have, and you know via common sense that it is the right way to go, wouldn’t you do it? If not, well…it was nice sharing time with all of you on this planet and I wish it would have been different. I will never turn away another hungry human being…please do the “HUMAN” thing, and help those you can.
Be happy about what you have had and what you still have time to do and be nice to everybody as if you were told you only have a year left to live do to a disease…manifesting a different reality is what this whole thing is about people. Turn off the “GLOOM tube” and go camping with a tent or whatever…take your Flattop guitar and some friends and kids and enjoy the “real world” not the fake one they designed for us. Point out the chemtrails to everybody even if you have to play dumb and just “ask” others what they think those are and get them thinking without insulting their intelligence. The Chemtrails are the most concerning thing to me right now. They are poisoning us right now and that needs to halt so that we can fight on…correct?

We just seem to keep hearing about these losses! From Banks, mortgage companies, inflation, crushing national debt, plant closures and layoffs. And it’s not just America, its world wide it seems. When was the last time we’ve seen these kinds of events? Not since the depression. Frankly, its worrisome.

* I do and I have been nervous for some time. Right now I keep the absolute least amount of cash in the account as possible.

I totally agree with TheWorldWatchDog. I have been seeking adequate employment since 1992!!!
Each job is temporary and layoffs. NY, NJ all the way down to NC. I have physically been there applying for permanent work to no avail. And the taxes being applied to purchases will not help – the affluent do not have it either.

I have one question…
What does the FDIC(Federal Deposit Insurance Co.) have to tangibly back up financial losses to banks?
I can’t quit picture this big “FDIC Room” with a humungus pile of cask money or precious metal pilesd up sitting around just waiting for banks to fail.
And that leads to a second question.. Who supplies the FDIC with all this “back up money” or funding… Is it “invested” in stoicks? Bonds? Securities?…. If so..the FDIC is in the same mess the banks are..
I saw one FDIC upper echelon being interviewed on the liquidity of the FDIC on no other than PBS and it was a typical softball interview in a very relaxed environment.. I had one proplem with the FDIC lady… every time she had to respond to a question about the solvency of the FDIC she could or would not be able to look forward or toward the interviewer directly ..and experience tells me that the lady was telling a “untruth” and when it eventually is discovered as such with be a “mis-spoken” answer…
This whole mess is nothing less than a Ponzi scam built on a house of cards..and I hope to hell it colapses hard….
As far as surving.. moeny and gold will take second place to water in 3 or four days..and food in about a week or two…
Imagine..for a momet..if your city/town/rural area lost power and you began to realise that it was not going to retun.. how long would the stores last(perishables) and I am not talking about riots… just people mainating a basic subsistance…
I am not a survivaliust by any means…but I do know how to survive and luckily have a few advant5ages..planned and accidentally.. and I am curious to see how this human experiment I am involved in turns out…. I just hope true justice is served to the deserving as a result of their actions.. whomever they may be….

Though at first you may not feel this is relevant to banking, listen up…
After reading the article below, and hearing of the brutal beheading murder in Canada last week; I suspect if Bush goes to the Olympics, he must take extra care… some false flag operation might be in the works (the thinking is that the bus beheading is preparation) and all hell will break loose financially, let alone geopolitically. Think about it, when we are preparing to convict Bush (Bugliosi’s new book) of war crimes, he gets bushwhacked! (I advocate only peace for everyone). I cannot think there is a small group like the Bilderberger group who have pocketed all the wealth and are laughing as our ship sinks how ever slowly. I would like to visit them with my machine guns and make them pay for it.

Just a wild guess.. But all the “Good ole’ European descendant white money boy club” wealth(And that is what it is..I am white..but call a cat a cat) ids probably kinda worried about all the wealth accumulated in the Middle East such as Dubai and the Saudi families for one… and they have never had real competion who can stoop to levels as low as them before… but they got it now…
And to think all those Arbs outsmarted them finacially.. and if they are all in it together.. which I doubt…. it won’t be long before the “money” chokes itself to some degree or another..
They have passed laws tha enslaved us.. and got caught in a little mess in the process.. But the game is just beginning.. it has a long way to go. I can’t wait to see it happening as long as I am on this side of the dirt.. I will enjoy the movie. Imagine what a few million(or billion) will do when their free lunches are cut off and a few days later their stoch grows teeth and starts gnawing on thier back bone. I just pity the children of such an apathetic race of people. We deseerve what we get.. good or bad.

As a witness to our collapsing economy and the forces of EVIL in this world, the Word of God shows that a “love of money” has been the cause for all sorts of evil. It doesn’t surprise many to see greed being the underlying motive for those that want to turn our world into a one world government and use it for tyranny:
Part of 1 Timothy 6:10-”For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil”.
Better yet, the prophecies in the Bible are being fufilled even as we speak. Creation sings of the glories of God. God is more concerned about man destroying this earth with sin more than anything else. Man has ruined a perfect creation. God gave us free will to let us choose if we would follow God or follow ourselves. God never forces himself on anyone.
We are a scarred creation, we deserve eternal condemnation for breaking God’s law. God says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. In essence, His glory is perfection, and failing just one of his commandments means we fall short. He is a just and Holy God, and because of his Holy nature, he must punish us for our shortcomings. The punishment for mankind sinning is eternal separation from God when we die physically.
God loves us so much that he made a way for you and me to be reconciled to Him. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life”. God sent Jesus as a sacrifice on our behalf to pay the penalty of our sins fully-past, present, future. God says that “Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Him”. Jesus took your penalty so you dont have to face eternal condemnation.
All you need to do is repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. It is a gift from God to you, all need to do is recieve it! God proves himself time and time again. Test God out! For all that truly and humbly seek Him, He will reveal himself to you! If you are skeptical of God or the Bible, do some investigation and read the Bible! See for yourself if the claims in there are true.
I despise the hypocrisy of today’s Christians, who claim they know God, but by their actions deny him. Anyone can claim they are a Christian but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are one. God teaches us in his word that we will discern TRUE followers of God by their fruits. The inquisitions for example were not done to glorify God even though they claim it did. God strickly forbids murder, and these “Christians” were engaging in it. The condescending/judgemental attitudes of Christians today is sad. We are told by God to love EVERYONE regardless if they are our enemies or friends.
Satan and his evil spirits are alive and well, deceiving many today in this world. Many are blinded to the evils as our culture slowly conditions us to accept immorality. The Word of God shows us that terrible times are coming, filled with persecution, tyranny, and evil.
This Nation America is a slave to our establishment. But we are all a slave to sin. I earnestly ask that you consider what I’ve said. God bless America.
