Rumsfeld Faces “Difficulties” Over Gitmo Torture

Former US defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld could soon be in trouble for the role he played in human rights abuses committed in the Guantanamo prison, a United Nations expert said.

A US bipartisan Senate report released late last year found Mr Rumsfeld and other top administration officials responsible for abuse of Guantanamo detainees in US custody.
It said Mr Rumsfeld authorised harsh interrogation techniques on December 2, 2002 at the Guantanamo prison, although he ruled them out a month later.
Mr Despouy said the “strong resistance” put forward by the former US administration to current US president Barack Obama’s decision to close the detention centre has nothing to do with the officially cited reason of “national security” considerations.
Rather they are fearful that they may be taken to task once the detention centre is closed, said Mr Despouy.

Rumsfeld sure would have to disobey his masters in a bold way to be thrown under the bus like that.
He has been such a faithful agent for the powers that be. It would be most discouraging to budding young criminals everywhere to see one of their idols fed to the wolves.

Three soldiers of the 101st where captured in Iraq after their Humvee was ambushed. They were screwed with screws drilled into their skull and other body parts, had their genatilia cut off and stuffed in their mouth, then had their heads cut off. Then they had their bodies and booby trapped. Thankfully, when our soldiers found them they took precautions and the traps were deactivated. At least it wasn’t dirty female panties placed on their heads!

Sure alot of the Bush brigade “could be” in trouble, but we ALL know it’ll never happen. Scum protect their own, and the current as well as future administration will NEVER punish the numerous crimes which have been committed not only by Bush, but by those prior.

In the first televised news conference that Rumsfeld gave after the abuse photos surfaced he said,” I take full responsibility for what happened” Well I continued to follow the story to see if he would actually take “full responsibility” but all I saw was some low-level soldiers being tried,convicted,and locked up in prison.
I would only make the claim of “full responsibility over matters that I had full control of. Taking “full responsibility” is an admission of guilt! Why are low ranking soldiers doing time when he is the one that admitted guilt?
I may do an internet search to see if a copy of that news conference is still available..

The only “difficulties” Rumsfeld will face might be something like not getting his usual table at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel next time he’s in New York. Anyone who seriously thinks that, short of an armed rebellion by millions of Americans, any of these NWO thugs is ever going to spend time behind bars or be executed for their crimes is terribly naive.

Torture is not the American way, which was established by George Washington in the REVOLUTION. It was the first time in history that any group of people diD not torture or kill prisoners. Torture is the way of our “good allies” Israel and England, from whom we learned all these “enhanced interrogation techniques.”
Even more importantly, none of these detainees have ever had a trial or even a hearing. in America people are innocent until proven guilty in a trial. We really don’t know if these detainee were involved in any terrorist activity at all. Apparently about 80% of them have already been released, after years of torture, because even our jailers could find nothing against them at all!!!!!!!!
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Perle, Feith, Gonzales, Woo, etc. etc. really need to be executed soon for their crimes against humanity. That is the only way we can atone for our murder and crimes against innocent people and set America and the world back onto a moral path before it is too late. Nothing else will suffice. Try and then execute them, or we may have to become AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARIES, as is our moral obligation.
