Yes, Russia does want political control over the entire region.

I also agree that the rainbow crowd utterly despises those of us who believe in absolute truth.

But Russia is not a Christian country, since not one jot or tittle of it’s legal framework is expressly meant to institutionalize the Bible or protect those who observe it.

Russia has long been suspected as one of the principalities of Ezekiel 38-39, and one of the Diaspora countries in the extreme north, from which Jews flee.

Georgia vs. Russia: A prelude to WWIII? I study the Bible and have found out that at the appointed time Russia will return. (Daniel 11:29a) This prophecy has started to be fulfilled. Russia has begun to rebuild an empire. After that, “the king of the north” (Russia) will come somewhere into the south. Many indicate that this might be Georgia. When this happens, according to the biblical foretelling, the West will come against Russia. “The king of the north” will be humbled and retreat. (Daniel 11:29b,30) At that time, peace will be taken from the earth and the “great sword” – nuclear sword – will be used. (Revelation 6:4) However, it will be neither the great tribulation nor “the end of the world” (Armageddon). As Jesus foretold, that will be “the beginning of birth pains”. (Mathew 24:7,8)

I would not be so callous as to call Yuschencko a nazi. The man has a very tough job, there and I view him as a visionary. A remarkable and courageous personality.

Ukraine is a crossroads of east and west…..and many people are Orthodox or Catholic there too, even some prots.

Are you talking about Catherine the Great? She was at odds with the British on shipping, but was too immersed in expanding her empire against the Turks to help America.

It was the French Crown that financed the revolution and even supplied naval support.
