Sarkozy Comes To Dublin – Tyranny On The Street

The Irish voted ‘No’ in referendum, shooting down the Lisbon treaty, but many fear that the EU will press on and either ignore the vote, or find alternate routes to affirm the concentration of power.

Police and security kept free speech at bay during a visit by Sarkozy where a number of vocal Irish came to defend their constitution and assert their independence apart from the EU.
