Sarkozy is accused of blackmail over EU Treaty

Nicolas Sarkozy has been accused of putting the brakes on European Union expansion in a desperate attempt to salvage the Lisbon Treaty.
The Conservatives said the French president was "blackmailing" the rest of the EU by claiming that moves to bring more nations into the union – starting with Croatia – would have to be put on hold in the wake of this month’s “No” vote on the Treaty in the Irish referendum.

The Treaty, which seeks to abolish dozens of national vetoes, hand new powers to Brussels and create the post of EU president, cannot come into operation until all 27 member states have ratified it.
Britain, which is not holding a public vote, completed its parliamentary process last week. But its formal ratification of the Treaty has been postponed at the request of a High Court judge, who is hearing an application to force a referendum.

yes the Irish voted the wriong way too so they will have to do it again.
They also got ridof the Double Jeapordy rule so if the Court Doesn’t give the right verdict, the Govt can try you again.
Now they want to allow anonymous witnesses.

The EU govt. will never happen. Anyone who has spent a week or more in Europe knows they are a bickering bunch of chickens who can’t figure out the pecking order.
Javier Solana and the WEU will show them the way.

The people of the world are in admiration of the superior
weapons technology which the mega-powers use in their
ever expanding global battle-field. The Prophet Daniel
foretold: “And the king shall do according to his will, and
he shall be lifted up, and shall magnify himself against
every god, and he shall speak great things against the God
of gods, and shall prosper, till the wrath be accomplished,
for the determination is made. And he shall make no
account of the God of his fathers, and he shall follow the
lust of women, and he shall not regard any gods, for he
shall rise up against all things. But he shall worship the
god Maozim in his place, and a god whom his fathers
knew not. He shall worship with gold, and silver, and
precious stones, and things of great price. And he shall do
this to fortify Maozim with a strange god, whom he has
acknowledged, and he shall increase glory, and shall give
them power over many, and shall divide the land gratis.”32
Maozim is the god of military forces, star wars, and strong
holds. If you do not think that this god of war is not
idolized, just look at the entertainment areas in public
transportation places, as well as in the sports arcades in the
cities, and the ‘games’ advertised in the music stores – you
will see – you do know.
