A US
human rights group has accused American intelligence of
torturing al-Qaeda and Taliban inmates at secret camps
overseas.
The
Human Rights Watch report said the torture, denied by
the CIA, included forcing inmates to kneel for hours and
depriving them of sleep.
Meanwhile, US Army investigators are looking into
the deaths of two Afghan prisoners who died in US
custody at Bagram earlier this month. |
