Scientists Rebut Claim That Man Causes Climate Change

As the world focused on President Barack Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday, a small group of determined scientists gathered in a Senate office building to present evidence backing their claim that climate change is caused not by man but by nature, and that carbon dioxide is not a pollutant but the hope for a greener planet.

John Kwapisz, organizer and moderator at the panel discussion, recalled Obama’s speech at the G20 summit in Pittsburgh, Pa., last month as a way of illustrating the dramatic tone used by those who embrace global warming as a dire and eminent threat.
“That so many of us are here today is a recognition that the threat from climate change is serious, it is urgent, and it is growing,” Obama said on Sept. 22 at the summit. “Our generation’s response to this challenge will be judged by history, for if we fail to meet it — boldly, swiftly, and together – we risk consigning future generations to an irreversible catastrophe.”

Dumbing Down; Basicly people are STUPID. That is like the paper cos cutting down all of the disiduous forests and planting Conifers in thier place and calling it conservation. Conifers make better paper, but they rape the land and increase heat signature. Real trees put O2 back into the atmosphere, yet intead of figuring those things out and fixing them, they blame it on man and use it tax the f--- out of US.

Well, technically CO2 will indeed poison the human body. It is expelled from the body of all animals. It is plants that need CO2. So CO2 is truly a “life gas.” Think about a planet without plants.. Pretty horrifying, eh? Plants use CO2 like animals use oxygen. It’s a beautiful, natural symbiosis between plants and animals. Our waste gas is their boon and vice-versa. As long as CO2 isn’t allowed to displace the oxygen on our bodies – it’s harmless. Indeed, our bodies create CO2!
But I do agree with the comments about the dumbing down. It is a fact. Americans are now barely above the level of idiots, sitting and drooling in front of their televisions. They know nothing that isn’t told them through “The Media.” It’s embarrassing.

Those that say CO2 carbon monixide is a pollutant to the planet and is causing “global warming” are not confused. It is a more sinister agenda going on it is called lying. They are not confused they know exactly what they are doing and why it is called lying. If they get this passed; they will be able to tax you simply for farting or breathing.

I was able to ascertain from the evidence out there that temperature fluctuations are primarily caused by sunspots aka solar flares. I think they know that also.
They are just lying plain and simple. I have noticed there is big money and fame to be made in mass lying these days.

I put up the article from yesterday with a poll on dailyfraud….I mean kos. I am amazed, this global warming thing really is like a religion. These people are very serious about the fraud they have swallowed. Once people bite on a hook, it is very difficult for them to let go because that would mean that they were wrong. Oh, and no they can’t be wrong because they consider themselves to be intellectuals. They really do believe that are part of some smarter group. I guess you can sorta say that about us truthers in that we believe that we are at the cusp of the truth. Billions of cars, trucks, trains, boats, airplanes, millions of factories and industry, whole countries wide of Amazon rainforest chopped away every day (Indonesia, 70-80 percent of rainforest cut down in the last twenty years), we see massive chopping of trees worldwide, dumpings of chemicals and oil all over the globe, billions brush their teeth with toothpaste with flouride every single day, waste here waste there, the polution goes on and on, and then some stil think human acitivity does no causing global warming and the whole polution.
Burning oil massively, buring gas massively, buring coal massively + cutting the plants and trees away massively all at the same time, means global warming (energy waste)
Weather extremes, does not mean hot summers or cold winters, but days/weeks of extreme cold or extreme heat.
When do those idiot scientists wake up ? It’s the same with 9/11 a lot of them just don’t see it.
They cannot think logic anymore, totally indoctrinated and confused, thanks to tv and other indoctrinated power hungry politicians and tyrants.

The sun is the controller of our weather, that is what the scientists are trying to tell you. CO2 is not to blame, in fact that is the gas plant life depends on. Their waste product is oxygen. We have a symbiotic relationship with the plant life on our beautiful world. Global warming is to be blamed on the sun. All the planets have warmed up, but in reality we could be entering an ice age. I agree though, that we’ve got to stop polluting our environment. We should be making paper from hemp, not trees (and clothes too). Oil man Al Gore sucks and is a complete fraud! The “Greenies” have been duped. Look all this s--- up! BTW, the Polar bears are doing fine!

Stop talking about trees…the majority of CO2 is utilized by oceanic plankton. The whole environmental movement has been distorted by globalist in an effort to keep the 3rd world living in the conditions they are currently experiencing.

You all do realize that the two biggest US emissions of Co2 are man made. The third biggest emitter is a volcano. Volcanoes can cause climate change just as man made factories can cause climate change if they emit too much Co2.
We are able to measure Co2 in parts per million and the #s are similar to 15 million years ago. At that time sea levels were 25 meters higher then they are today. The Earth was warmer and weather patterns were different. The only thing capable of releasing this amount of Co2 are man made sources.
And you all are parroting oil and gas company lines from the 90s and early 00s.

CO2 does NOT cause climate change. A buildup of atmospheric CO2 FOLLOWS a rise in atmospheric temperature, it does not precede it or cause it. You are ignorant of the basic science.

Alex Jones is being incredibly dishonest in his proaganda war against the case for Global warming. It would be simple enough to clear things up. Have a series od debates between the scientists who out out this report and scientists who make the case for human caused global warming. This would be the intellectually honest thing to do. So have a debate between Fred Singer one of the authors of this report and Richard Ally professor of atmospheric physics from Penn State who is one of the worlds leading researchers on global warming. Of course I fully expect that Alex Jones-something who probably can’t do basic trignometry-to have this debate on his show. Heis true believere. Facts don’t matter. By the way, there is been lots of experiments on the effects of rising CO2 on plants. And the results are overwhelming that CO2 concentrations beyond a certian level are detrimental to plant and tree heallth.
There is a lot of supprt in the Alex Jones show for the antiwarming point of view. All I can say is, that these people have not made a serious study of the evidence . The glaciers are melting. Scientist have a pretty good handle when the glaciers in the Rockies will completely melt.
The pinhead Evangelical execessivley anti-goverment types who who post want no intrference in their rape and plunder of the environment. So have the debate on your show Alex. It would be real public service.

Fed Singer, the senior scientist of this report is has worked for many years for the automotive and petroleum industry. In others words, he is on the $$$$$$$$$ take from the indistries that produve enormous amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere.
Tell. why are the critics of Global Warmong the only ones allowed to discuss the Global Warming issue on prisonplanet.com. The “cure” according to the believers of man made global warming is to create a system that serves the interests of the same people that continuously try to control the distribution of wealth. Their sole intent is to prohibit any nation from being independent as that is a threat to their system.
Cap and Trade = Central control over the distribution of economic activity.
It seems incredibly coincidental that a “problem” like the charade of man made global warming plays into their hand so perfectly. It is way to convienant.

I never saw the Al Gore movie. I despise Al Gore. Al Gore is completely irrelevant to the scientific case for Global Warming. Here is the difference. It is true that the Discovery Channel gives very little air time to the critcs of Global Warming. However they are not kept off for ideological reasons. They are kept off because the preponderance of scientific evidence and theory is massively against he critics of Global warming. Speaking for myself, I would very much like to see a debate between Fred Singer the senior author of the report and Atmospheric scientist Richard Ally on the Discovery Channel.
Supporters of the view that global warming is anthropogenic in origin are kept off the Alex Jones show due ideological reasons-reasons that have 0 to do with serious science.
How would you know or Alex Jones know what the truth is considering that you have no intetest in finding out what the truth is? You accept “scientic” truths that only fit into your nutty bible-thumping pinhead Evamglical world view. Scientcehas a much higher standard of truth.
So, if you and Alex Jones are so confident of the truth of this scientific report put out by Scientists who are on the $$$$$$ take from Big Auto and Big Peteroleum ,and if it so obvious that the case for Global Warming is Junk Science, have a debate on the Alex Jones between two atmospheric scientists with opposing points of on Global Warming? This is the normal way the the truth is established truth is arrived. Just as it was arrived at on the 9/11 isue. i don’t know. i mean i’m a greenie, does that mean i am sheep because i think the science for global warming outweighs the science that states warming is a hoax, that man has no influence? i read everything i can get my hands on with this subject, including all the articles posted on this site that seemingly claim to gives irrefutable proof that global warming is a hoax. to be honest they are no more convincing that listening to an obama speech about it. and frankly, the fact that global warming hoax articles speak in concert with what bush officials and big oil companies are pushing makes me less inclined to believe them…and no, starting the weather channel DOES NOT make you an expert on climate change, anymore that starting a news channel makes rupert murdoch an expert on news. And i dont understand this connection i keep reading in comments about global warming = globalist tactic to tax us to death…there is no logic in this statement considering there are many ways one could approach dealing with co2 reduction (including pure corporate ways).
I just dont get the readers here. Accusing the ‘rest of us’ as being gullible to lies and media distortions, yet not believing for once second that something they read on this site may be guilty of the same thing. If you are going to be cynical about stuff you read, then it has to include stuff on this site.

As the time goes on , people of america have everyday less and less freedom due to politics conducted by federal power. Also , as a consequence of the economic crisis , more and more of them have lost their job and home. But the crisis is not finished , and in near future the consequences could be catastrophic. Keep in mind that any change can not come from the federal government , but only the people , the only source of any future chagement. If a majority of them think a change is possible , so it can be. A way to preserve freedom , ideals , welfare of people is federalism must come to an end. People will have to make a choise , federalism versus freedom , ideals , welfare… . The first could lead to the establishment of a martial law. A state as texas is ready to cross the line , it could be an example for the others. People could put under pressure every state government in the aim to declare secession , the american constitution allow such a decision. Such an aim can’t be aimed without any precaution , as it is evident the federal power is not ready to yield or abdicate. Probably , this one will use force to submit people , but constitution give garantees on firearms. people can put up a fight against the oppressive federal power if a political issue according to the will of people can not be lead. People have to make his will respect , otherwise it will be an opressed people. Saying that federalism must come to an end mean it must be break down , it appears to be the only way to preserve people. America can be easily imagined without federalism and preserved.
