Scientists warn of bird flu epidemic

A strain of bird flu has moved a step closer to developing the traits required to create an epidemic of the disease in humans, scientists warned on Monday.
Researchers who analysed samples of recent avian flu viruses found that a strain of the virus called H7N2 had adapted slightly better to living in mammals.
Tests on ferrets proved the strain could be passed between animals but scientists said the evidence suggested that bird flu could be transmitted between humans.
Dr Terrence Tumpey, a microbiologist with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in Atlanta, Georgia, said: “The finding underscores the necessity for continued surveillance and study of these viruses as they continue to resemble viruses with pandemic potential.”

To say that they now believe the virus may be transmittable between humans means they are that much closer to perfecting what they set out to do, create Mr Tripp’s, as in The Stand, then release it, having a fully workable, plausible alibi.

From what I understand about vaccines, is that they need the “Pandemic” Strain of the flu in the first place to even have a chance at a vaccine.
So in other words, the bird flu would have to turn into a pandemic, making the flu easily passed from human to human BEFORE they could even start to make a vaccine.
So any products you hear about now, to fight bird flu, is BS. Cant fight something that doesnt currently exist, since they will never know how it will mutate, until it does. I wont get ANY vaccine, at ANY time, Ill take my chances with a simple multi vitamin and jack up the vitamin C.

I just finished reading the Stand a few days ago for the fourteenth time. I get a bit freaked out everytime I read it. If a pandemic bird flu is released and does anywhere the damage that happens in the Stand……
But remember, in the Stand, the virus was accidentily released in AMerica when the soldier escaped with his family. Once it began to spread and kill, the “elite” then released it in Russia, Europe and Asia…mutually assured infection

There would be no “bird flu” if the drug manufacturing companies stopped using bird parts (to incubate viruses) in the manufacturing of their vaccines. Period.
Next, we’ll be hearing about the new “ostrich flu”, “llama flu”, “dog flu”, “cat flu”. It’ll be whatever strain relates to the animal part they decide to use for the manufacturing of that particular lot of vaccines. This is a tremendous human experiment going on right now. I believe these viruses are re-creating themselves inside the human body due to how they are manufactured and antibiotics being perscribed and administered for everything little cold symptom, chest cold, sinus infection, hangnail and dental procedure. Don’t think they’ll take responsibility for any pandemic. Why? Because YOU would have given them permission to infect you and what your DNA does to respond is not their problem. There’s no proof and according to the permission form they must provide you allowing for this procedure, what those viruses do inside your body is NOT the responsibility of the CDC, FDA or your doctors. It’s been the pattern with these agencies that have been paid to protect us and the healthcare professionals is to avoid taking responsibility. So much so, that they would be willing to provide you (the unsuspecting patient/customer) a form eliminating their responsibility “with your permission”.

I see, gatoro1. You must be assuming my children were rejected from public school due to not being vaccinated. However, they have not missed one day yet and one of my children is almost graduated high school and one is still in grade shool. I realize the admission papers to attend the public school system makes it appear to be mandatory. However, it is not. Regardless of what state you live in, not one parent in the U.S. is required. It seems some rather large organizations in charge of making sure every child is vaccinated, are making sure the media is telling you what they want you to hear.

us mom68 ..whoa girl .. i am with u ..not against u …i have refused recent vaccinations 4 my children …just because i was n’t aware of the dangers previously …..i work with autistic children so have a first hand knowledge…many people r not aware of waiver forms ..and r bullied in to accepting vaccinations or kids r refused entry to school .. like that case in .i beleive texas ..where they were threated with jail ..it was in the bloggs about 2 mos ago ..i have done extensive research on the contents of vaccines ,such as thimerosal [eythel mercury ]and aluminium ..on kids brains .and the lethal milk shake they created and call it mmr vaccinations ..this seems to be the one that does it as 90% of parents say their kids were normal up to 18 mos …peace girl ..!!! lol

If I lived in a state that didn’t allow me that right to reject them…I’d be fightin’ a blooding battle at my state capitol. gatoro1 – Over my cold, dead corpes will I ever get a vaccination forced on me and my family…and I’m willing to accept that consequence. However, my local DOH is so sick of hearing from me, they’d have to kill me first before even considering forcing vaccinations in this state. I have waaaaaay to big of a voice – and I use it.
