Security Goon Crushes Free Speech: ‘This Ain’t America No More’

In a damning indictment of how the First Amendment has been eviscerated, footage from a recent town hall event shows a school security officer threatening a protester with arrest for holding up an anti-Obama sign while declaring that America has ceased to exist, arguing that unflattering representations of our dear leader are illegal.
Despite the fact that there were numerous other signs being displayed at the health care event in Reston, Va., security officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. ordered the protester to pull down the placard, which featured the depiction of Obama as the Joker from Batman with the words “Organizing for National Socialist Health Care – The Final Solution”.
An argument ensued before the protester declared, “This used to be America,” to which the officer responded, “It ain’t no more, OK?”
Cheeks claimed that the protester couldn’t display his sign because it included an image of Obama. Like he’s some kind of religious deity, authority figures somehow think that it is illegal to display a likeness of our dear leader that is anything but flattering.

As anyone with a basic grasp of history understands, when the authorities start oppressing people merely for ridiculing those in power, dictatorship and tyranny soon follows.
“Sir, leave the picture down,” the officer said. “If you put the picture back up, you’ll be charged with trespassing.”
The officer also ascribes upon himself the power to interpret and invent laws, growling, “If I told you once to take it down and you put it back up, I can charge you with whatever I want to charge you with.”
Cheeks’ brazen contempt for the oath he swore to protect and defend the Constitution is laid bare as he openly trashes everything America stands for and claims that in his eyes the country and by extension the bill of rights itself no longer exists.
This should act as a wake up call to illustrate the shocking reversal of the role of police and security officers from peace officers to political enforcers for the corrupt state.
Officer Cheeks is a member of the Fairfax County Public Schools’ trained School Security Officer team (e mail them), who have refused to comment on the story until their office opens again today.

I was busted this weekend for rocking too hard. I told the cop that there is no noise ordinance in our area. So, he says , I will arrest you for disorderly conduct because you didn’t listen to me when I told you to stop. I asked him what authority he had to stop us from playing music. He was stumped. Again, I told him there was not a law and that because he told us to stop does not make it law. He has the same kind of mentality. They think that they can order people around and that is the law. Well, it isn’t.
Anyway, America is the land of the fun tax. If you are having fun, they have a tax for it. In this case, we stopped because we didn’t want to bail out the host of the party at county.
Meanwhile, dogs bark all day long, babies cry, Harleys growl, lawn mowers buzz, muscle cars romp up and down the streets, air tools buzz, lawn trimmers whirl and hammers pound.
We were playing live music and got shut down. What’s wrong with this picture???

I can understand a private property holder restricting speech; it is their property. A public school is public property where our constitutional rights are to be protected. No, he does not get to use the “private property” excuse. The public schools, the public roads, government buildings belong really to the American Taxpayer not the government. They are ours not the governments. Now they want to sell off roads, to privatize them? We paid for those they belong to us and I guarantee you they will not roll back the taxes they have already assessed to us to pay for the upkeep of those roads. The poor will suffer, as always.

There was a guy who down the block who worked third shift. One of these Ice Cream trucks sat outside his house, playing his “music” for hours. The guy asked him nicely, three times to shut it off or move. After the third time he went inside, got his shotgun and shot the speaker off the truck.

You do not have a right to force your rock music upon others. This goes for sub-woofers, too. How I loather and despise sub-woofers in cars. I’m forced to listen to other people music, in my home, in my bed, in my bathroom, in my kitchen, during my prayers, on my back deck… this is the best argument you can come with for defense of freedom? The freedom to molest your neighbors? The right to annoy and pester people from a distance, on their own property? I pulled into a gas station the other day and the attendant had this Mexican crap blasting from his little booth. I believe in fighting fire with fire. Zeppelin (Whole Lotta Love) just happened to come on the station I was listening to and well, I just had to “crank it up”. Needless to say, I drowned out his music and if looks could kill, I’d be dead. F him!!! I live in a neighborhood where when my 2 boys were small a couple of the duplexes across the street would have “parties” which carried out into the street (I’m on the corner about 12 ft. from the street). They would go on until 3 or 4 in the morning. So the next morning my husband would just have to rev up his Harley at about 6:30 am.

I’m not familiar with your area, Corporate Death, but be advised that although you may not have an ordnance regarding noise there may be one for disturbing the peace. If your neighbors can’t sleep because you’re blasting music at 3AM then you are infringing on their rights. I assume though that you may live a good distance between homes and that this may not have been the case. Regardless, the officer claiming that he will arrest you for not listening to him is without merit. Another example of one thinking something should be the Law that isn’t. I hope you don’t have the mentality that ALL police or ALL military act in this manner. I am good friends with many of these people that do not act in this manner. They understand the laws and take a more peaceful approach. These officers would ask you kindly if you could turn it down for your neighbors’ sake rather than be forceful and demand it. Also, nobody likes to be met with hostility and disrespect when doing their job…or ever for that matter. Not saying this was the case with your situation.

I really wish security guards would stop referring to themselves as officers. I know, I know. They don’t guard s--- so why call them guards? Because it is what it is. I wrote to Fairfax County P.D. after seeing this using the contact information given to me when he was said to be a police officer. Later I found out that he was a security guard and felt like an ass after leaving them a lengthy message. Regardless, this guy puts his job over his country and that should be addressed. He should publicly “clarify” what he meant by those outrageous statements.

Also, a security “officer” does NOT have the authority to arrest anybody. Once a person has been formally trespassed (usually after having been read two times and still not complying) then they may be “detained” until law enforcement arrives. At that point the security “officer” better have had good reason to do do otherwise a lawsuit is sure to follow.

Unfortunately he hasn’t acted alone in getting the country where it is today. This is something that has been in the making for MUCH longer than “he, whose name we must not speak of” has been around. A lot of people have to answer for the way things are. Anybody in America that exerts hostile force against the American people, be it taking their rights away and imprisoning them in any way or forcing them to be injected with anything they refuse to take or even issuing orders to do so, will be held accountable for treason. I urge these individuals to stop trying to circumvent the Constitution by writing and approving unlawful “acts” in the name of “the war on terror”. When it’s all said and done at the end of the day and their plans fail they will have to answer for their actions. Have faith in the American people…even if the majority are ignorant. When they do open their eyes they will not submit to such tyranny. It is just difficult for them to believe that such things could be happening in America. I don’t want to believe it myself, but every day there is something else that is being attempted by those that do not have the American peoples’ best interests in mind right in our faces. I urge any true Patriot not to play into the government and media’s traps. Making threats or carrying out any hostile acts will only fuel their agendas. Express your rights publicly and make sure it is on video. They are already unlawfully stopping people from doing so. The more people that are having these rights taken from them on video and getting it out there to the people the better. We need to show them that this is not just a few isolated incidents and that this is really happening. The “best” war is one that doesn’t require any bullets being fired. Get out there and make sure legislation that infringes on the rights of the people DO NOT get passed. Vote and be heard. Write to your legislators. Hell, even write to the White House and urge them not to pass these laws (tastefully, of course. Threats don’t bode well for anybody). They will ignore you, but if they know enough people won’t stand for it they just might back off. I urge everybody to educate themselves on the World History as well as American History from multiple sources and how governments work. Definitely read the Constitution (I assure you it is not that long). I am a 25 y/o former infantry SGT…I used to be blind to all of this myself. I started seeing things that the government was doing and how the media was portraying it and something clicked in my head. Maybe it was from having been in the military or maybe it was from having read history books. It all seemed tactical to me…clever too. That’s when I started doing more research and was frightened by what I had found. People that voluntarily give up their rights to anybody get what they deserve. Wake up people!

There is a big difference between the Constitution of the united states and the constitution for the United States of America. Please understand where these dictators & nobelists believe they derive their power & control from. One book entry of importance in the ” Act of 1871 ” which re-wrote the original Constitution.
Look…we are at war. We HAVE BEEN at war. We dont have jets releasing misiles into our homes; not yet anyway. As with most wars, the end goal is to dominate a piece of real estate and the ‘laws’ thatgovern that piece of real estate, control of the air space & waterways……control over what comes and what leaves the country and control over all means of communication. I think the international global nobelists over the decades after decades have achieved that.
What is needed now is to have a Declaration of Independence be put into place and not a re-vised ‘constitution’ that gave the District of Columbia the powers of a corporation that swallowed up every single state.

It has to be realized that the security officer, in his brazen mis-use of power, openly exposed the problem. The systemic meltdown of things is so widespread and so pervasive, that the controlling powers are indeed in a tough situation. As jobs are lost, lives are shattered, and hope disintegrates, the government will “crack” down….forcing their protective will on us.
How do you control the meltdown occurring? You can’t. It’s sliding into chaos.

just a quick thought to the person in the video. was this a public school? if so you should file a complaint with the federal attorney general office for a 1964 deprivation of civil rights under the color of law. would be interesting to see if they will accept it. you might even want to consult with a civil rights attorney over this to bring a private lawsuit.

When you vote the wrong people in offices this is what you get. So if we want change we need to run for offices on local such as school and city, county, state, and federal level. Otherwise shut up and get into that FEMA camp, take your flu shots, and let your public fool system in doctrinate not educate your children. Unfortunately it will never be a matter of time before americans get fed up. We are all sleep walking through life day to day, and allowing the government to think for us. We are supposed to have our government think on our behalf and not corporate self interest. Recently enough removed from the public school system in California I can vouch for lot of stupidity and insanity from officials. I was targeted my whole time in middle school for being punk rock and having clothing with political slogans and such. I would wear something to school and the next day there would be a rule against it. But anyway, at that school, we had a security guard who would get drunk everyday and chase kids with hammers and a principle who would dismiss the behavior as “goofy.” So rather then relate this whole thing to a politcal issue, let’s just say the guy was not too bright. There are a lot of dumb people in the world who neither know nor care of what some could deem to be their participation in a fascist regime.

dear SIR or MADAM,
I am writing to DEMAND the IMMEDIATE termination of your employee Wesley Cheeks, Jr. due to his UNCONSTITUTIONAL and ILLEGAL conduct that was caught on tape and can be viewed currently on the internet via sites such as Youtube and others. I find his conduct to be RACIST and appaling. Why was the individual in the video not allowed by Mr. Cheeks to display his political sign protesting the policies of the Obama administration ? Is it because Mr. Cheeks is an African American and resents a white person having a negative opinion of Obama ? This smacks of RACISM, sir or madam, and is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE behavior especially coming from someone who is there to ensure SAFETY. Other people were NOT asked to put down or remove their signs; this is tantamount to SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT. Why would Mr. Cheeks threaten to have the individual on the tape ARRESTED for TRESPASSING if he displayed his sign ? Was anyone else at the event in question charged or threatened with trespassing, or was it just the individual on the tape ? Lastly, I find Mr. Cheeks comment that “this isn’t America anymore” to be ABSOLUTELY APPALLING especially coming form a UNIFORMED OFFICER in the process of performing his duties. Is this supposed to be indicative of your organization’s policies ? I promise you that unless Mr. Cheeks is FIRED and a public apology is issued, I will do EVERYTHING in my power to expose yourself and your organization as Anti-American, even if it means putting up posters featuring YOUR face. Sir, Madam, I am prepared to go to any length, even so far as to hire a lawyer and begin whatever litigation I legally can to make sure this man is FIRED and this behavior is NOT repeated. I promise you, I am NOT the only person who has seen and been outraged by this footage and I must respectfully DEMAND that appropriate action is taken IMMEDIATELY.

Personally, I don’t like either the Obama OR the Bush Joker, and intially thought that I would never be involved in putting up such a thing. I still hold the belief that the OFFICE of the president of the US should be respected, and for the most part, blatant disgusting portrayals of sitting presidents are something I just don’t care for.
Now that I have seen so many instances of violations of Freedom of Speech, I think I will go visit Staples or Kinko’s and get in on the act, more out of ensuring I EXERCISE my rights. Just like Open Carry, and many others, if we do not remind others of these rights, we may wake up some morning without them. Why should Obama be treated any different than, say, Bush? Bush was trashed so bad, I had a hard time wrapping my mind around it. It was not until Obama got in office, that I started putting the pieces together. (yeah, I know, slow)
Never in our history, have the press, and others, gone after a sitting president the way that it was done to Bush. But now I get it. It was a totally orchestrated, and carefully planned by the looney left and the likes of ACORN, SOROS, and other proggresive types.
Anyway, I did have hopes for the poster thing to “go away” and have our energies focused on other things, but there IS reason to see this thing out. START THE PRESSES…

Dear Mr. Ellis,
While acknowledging that the most recent video (http://www.infowars.com/securi.....a-no-more/) from the healthcare event in Reston, VA (specific location unknown) is in a context of an event, the video blatantly shows that Officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr. has a complete disregard for the Constitution and confusion about his authority to Citizens therein. In particular, Officer Cheeks’ attempt to threaten the sign poster with “trespassing” and stating that he can “charge you with whatever I want to charge you” is a gross misuse of authority and an insult to the Constitution and the First Amendment. Additionally, when asked why this particular poster was different than all the others that he was not concerned with, he said it was “because it has a picture” on it. Apparently, he was offended by the Obama/Joker picture that was alluded to have been on the poster but his personal offense has nothing to do with his legal jurisdiction and authority and its interpretation. He has sworn to uphold the Constitution. Maybe part of his remedial training would be for him to read it. Finally, when confronted with the comment, “This used to be America”, he responds with, “It ain’t no more, okay?” Again, by this remark, it is obvious that Officer Cheeks is sorely misinformed and is operating under the pretense that he overrides the laws and principles of the Constitution, the State of Virginia and the United States of America. It is “law enforcement” like this that starts altercations and only adds fuel to an already emotionally charged situation. What if the sign poster had continued to exercise his First Amendment rights? Would Officer Cheeks have resorted to physical apprehension, as he had threatened? I am, based on the video, convinced that he would have attempted it at least. NOT a good situation. Then, when this situation blows up into a physical altercation, charges are filed, courts and attorneys and news media are involved, bringing undue, and, I’m sure, unwarranted attention on all the other men and women security officers that work for the FCPS. And, the whole thing could have been avoided by Officer Cheeks just doing his job correctly.
Admittedly, I do not know the specific function that you perform at the FCPS Security Officer Team but I would hope that this post goes to someone that can explain to Officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr. that, in no uncertain terms, he is not the law, but only enforces the law, and needs to understand that clearly and concisely. I also recommend that some type of disciplinary action be taken so that he understands that this type of behavior is unacceptable from you, the Team, The Fairfax County Public School Board, the State of Virginia and the United States of America and its Citizens.
I trust that you will uphold the principles and conditions of the Constitution as you have, assumedly, sworn to protect and use to guide you in your professional actions.
