So the war criminal Rice "holds Serbia responsible" for the riots and burning of a little of the US imperial outpost in Belgrade. (Via Antiwar.com)
Of course, violence is always wrong, but are Serbs supposed to forget the bombing of their city and country by the Clintionian US, over made-up charges of genocide? The US even bombed the Chinese embassy because the Chinese opposed the war.
Allow Kosovo to secede, by all means (and every other enclave that wants its freedom), but also allow the Serbs to secede from Kosovo and Bosnia in the made-up US remapping of the Balkans.
There has been nothing but trouble since the US set up Yugoslavia after the Apostle Woodrow, as Mencken dubbed the Christian rightist Wilson, set out to destroy the decentralized Habsburg empire.
At least Catholic Croatia and Catholic Slovenia were allowed to secede, since the US was demonizing the Orthodox Serbs. The Muslim Albanians deserve self-rule, but so do the Christians now placed under them.
As usual, the great classical lieral principle of secession–as versus centralization and domination–is a key to freedom and social peace.
