‘Service’ Inspector General fired by Obama for investigating ‘Hood Corps’ mayor Kevin Johnson?

Controversy has erupted over President Obama’s firing of Inspector General Gerald Walprin, a Bush appointee who was tasked with investigating fraud and misuse inside of the Corporation for National and Community Service, an umbrella organization for service under Homeland Security that includes AmeriCorps and many other related groups.
Although Obama has complained that Walprin was "exercising his power as president," questions have been raised as to whether Obama’s real motive centers around an ongoing investigation into friend and fellow ’service’ advocate Kevin Johnson, mayor of Sacramento and founder of youth program ‘Hood Corps.’
Inspector General Walprin alleged that Kevin Johnson misused AmeriCorps funds allocated to Hood Corps.
According to the Sacramento Bee:
The IG found that Johnson, a former all-star point guard for the Phoenix Suns, had used AmeriCorps grants to pay volunteers to engage in school-board political activities, run personal errands for Johnson and even wash his car.
Walpin has also charged that Johnson took AmeriCorps members to New York "to promote the expansion of St HOPE operations in Harlem," a purpose, he says, that was not authorized by the grant.
Johnson has been an Obama supporter and was one of only a few mayors invited to meet with the President and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel to discuss how stimulus money can be spent in their local communities.

The removal of Gerald Walpin, the current Inspector General who investigates AmeriCorps and other national service programs by the President himself is interesting in itself. More interesting, the change comes after his friend was cited for misuse of funds through his nonprofit group.
National Service has been curiously at the forefront of Obama’s presidency and a part of the former community organizer’s image. His now WH Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel gained attention for his 2006 ‘The Plan,’ a policy book advocating compulsory service. Already, his administration has passed the GIVE Act, which extends AmeriCorps funding, and a further bill for mandatory service has now been introduced in Congress.
During his presidential campaign, Obama appeared at the Service Nation-sponsored 9/11 Presidential Forum on National Service, where the expansion of the national service agenda was made clear. His stated plans included a civilian expeditionary force which would back up military and assist in nation building overseas in places like Afghanistan. This force has been announced in the Obama administration under DoD 1404.10.
TV ads for AmeriCorps-affiliated City Year are also now running major promotion for the service agenda, which has been pushed not only by Obama and Emanuel, but high-level advisors such as David Gergen. City Year has announced plans to mobilize service activities around the September 11 anniversary.
Mayor Kevin Johnson had reportedly settled the dispute over funds with the U.S. Attorney’s office as of April 9, 2009, at a time when he was working closely with the Obama Administration about receiving stimulus funds.
Sacramento Bee reported that Walprin "has no doubt he acted properly in investigating the Sacramento mayor." Other investigators "said Walpin had identified millions of dollars in AmeriCorps funds that were wasted or misspent" and that "it appears he has been doing a good job."
The investigation has been on-going for sometime, and Walprin himself brought embarrassing questions to Johnson during his run for mayor in 2007.
Walpin’s office made repeated public comments just before the Sacramento mayoral election, prompting the U.S. attorney’s office to inform the media that it did not intend to file any criminal charges.
For his part, Johnson has denied any wrongdoing. Instead, the AP reported, he "blamed unnamed political enemies for the investigation and criticized the federal government for having grant requirements he said are too difficult to follow."
Mayor Johnson was also instrumental in "helping" Governor Schwarzenegger force Sacramento’s homeless out of tent cities and relocating them to the Cal Expo, where strict policy, including in & out privileges, limit the freedom of its temporary residents.

The Nazi Youth part of this video serves little purpose, and is way overdone. The advertisement itself makes strong and more offensive points on it’s own.
I’m in Americore, and from what I have seen it is a mostly positive organization. However it should stay domestic and focused on community services. If it is linked in any way to militarism, I will begin to question.. Lots of reading to do today, any suggestions?

I believe we’re talking about a willingness to place the group ahead of self, in a country whose core value was meant to be independence.
If I intend to sacrifice, I’ll do it on my own terms (and in my own mode of dress), thanks. I will decide how and when to eat, and how much exercise I do.
I’ll decide when I have the time for others, how much space to occupy, and how much sleep is enough.
I’ve posted this before, and will again. As one of those self-entitled people, who you may have heard of, I have no problem towing the line. I’ll do almost anything, provided that it reinforces my personal value system.
At this point, society is telling us that it can no longer provide for us. The only motivation we have to comply is that it’s supposed to give us a sense of belonging in a social marketplace where there is no competition – the monopoly of state services, with all the morale of a welfare office, a free clinic, or the DMV.
Sorry. If you want my loyalty, you’re gonna have to work for it, hard!

Eraseimprove, just remember things aren’t always as they seem. Telling me that I am mandated to serve 3 months in their re-education camps, because it’s my duty as an american is unconstitutional. Yes it’s ok to do something for your country but to force me to do it is unconstitutional. It infringes upon everyone’s right to liberty. I am supposed to be at liberty to do whatever I please as long as I do not infringe upon the rights of my fellowman.

On that note i wanted to let you guys know about a strategy i have developed to wake people up that is having great success. As i’m sure you all know the biggest problem we have is that as soon as people hear or think the words “conspiracy theory” they don’t want to hear it after that. So my strategy does not involve any conspiracy theory at all.
People need to be eased into it gently so they can at least accept the fact that it might be possible that their own government killed 3000 innocent Americans. So what is my strategy?
It’s simply to ask them to watch the documentary “911 Press For Truth” and google “Operation Northwoods”. I’m sure you’ve all seen 911 press for truth, which covers the story of the victims families and how they had to fight to even get 911 investigated in the first place and then how the 911 commission simply failed to do it’s job. It also features testimony from Condoleezza Rice, which is just amazing to watch. Operation Northwoods speaks for itself.
If you just ask people to take the time to do those 2 things, everyone i have asked so far has at least come around to the idea that it is possible that 911 was an inside job and then hopefully they are willing to look more closely at the so called “conspiracy theories” for more information on how they did it. I urge you all to try this for yourselves.

You know rick, I don’t have very much trouble getting people to watch the DVD’s, Simple because 90% of the population already believe something is wrong wth the 911 official story. The problem is people don’t know where to obtain the DVD’s from, the info can’t just be bought your local grocery store, so you got to offer it to them for free. Most anyone will except a free DVD.
I will agree on one thing thou, you can’t call it a conspiracy theory movie, because people kind of look at you like a nut. I usually call them truth movement movies, and when someone identifies them as conspiracy flick, I just tell them about CNN’s poll, 90% of the population now believe 911 was some sort of cover up. and let them know that they are the minority now a days. Another thing I agree with, you find the right movie to give people, Zeitgeist I found to be one of the best for slowly getting into involved, and it always makes them come back for more.
Alex Jones you’ve done your Job well, you’ve made a lot of great movies. keep’em coming.

Prime example a buddy of mine bought a 250,000 $ house with a 40 year mortgage. his Payments every 2 weeks 876.00$. Pop that in your calculator, i’ll do it for you, the grand total 911,040.00$ almost a million dollars.
So you keep believing everything is fine, and your kids will know nothing but debt from the first day of work till they die. thanks to your inability to be a man and stand up for youself and them.

There was a lot of bible thumping going on. And it saved a lot of community’s, and brought people together for their community’s. All across the bible belt people would flood foreclosure auctions making sure no one bid more than a penny for someones property. Its was these little bible thumping towns that survived the dust bowl and depression, and a lot of it was because of their faith.
But, what religious people seem to have a hard time dealing with is that their institutions are corrupt as well. The only religious people I trust are the ones who keep it to themselves unless brought up.
As far as Obama goes, he is going to fall very very hard. Anyone with this much pride in history has allways fell the hardest. I can’t wait untill Bush’s daughters, and Obama’s daughters grow consciences and turn on them like Chenney’s daughter did. Can’t wait.

It’s good that you’ve learned some truth brother but the problem with Zeitgeist is that the film maker, Peter Joseph, is a Theosophist. Do you know anything about Theosophy? If you don’t you should go do some research on it pronto. Peter Joseph and people like him (disinformation agents working for the enemy) mix the truth with lies. If you actually research the some of the information resources he used to make Zeitgeist you’ll find that none of them (except for the information on the Federal Reserve) are credible and that the information is purely based on opinion and speculation. The main themes of Zeitgeist come directly from Helena Blavatsky’s two books, Isis Unveiled & The Secret Doctrine, both based on the worship of Lucifer.
Blavatsky is the creator of the modern new age movement which is intricately intertwined with the United Nations and the New World Order’s coming ecumenical one world religion. I understand if these phrases may turn you off a bit and make you think of ignorant, right wing mainstream fundamentalist Christians but you need to ignore those feelings and move past your programming. Don’t judge a minority of people (true followers of Jesus Christ) based on the twisted rantings and ravings of a bunch of brainwashed sheeple. If you’re really sincere about seeking out the truth you need to keep an open mind and adhere to a few rules in order remain honest. Double standards and truth are not compatible.
Back to Zeitgeist and Peter Joseph. Religion is a term rarely defined properly before people begin to discuss it. When I discuss religion I’m not talking about ancient scriptures or the truthful spiritual teachings found in this world but about organizations created by men who twist and distort the truth of God. Religion is a mechanism used to control and brainwash the masses (Lenin was actually right when he said it was the opiate of the masses) into submitting to false authorities wishing only to enslave and imprison mankind. Peter Joseph is cleverly using sophistry and lies to manipulate the few honest people left in this world. By mixing the truth with lies Peter Joseph has done a serious amount of spiritual damage to a lot of lost and confused young people out there trying to find their way in a world filled with darkness.
Zeitgeist used a little truth to reel in unsuspecting and uninformed (ignorant because of a lack of knowledge , not because they lacked intelligence) people, then set the hook in deep using the Federal Reserve as a confidence trick. After that it was all over for most of the people who watched Zeitgeist. So much of what Zeitgeist passes off as truth is little more than lies based on Theosophy and the mystery religions that the elite follow to this very day. Without their secret societies and black ideologies the elite would be nothing more than a bunch of disorganized lunatics. Every crime and every murder they have committed throughout the ages has stemmed from the teachings and doctrines of their mystery religions, which they learned from their dark gods who make their home among the dark places of the earth.
Spend some time and seriously research the sources in which Zeitgeist is based upon. If you’re honest and have a little integrity you’ll learn the truth. But if you want to believe the lies that Peter Joseph is spreading on the behalf of the Illuminati then there really isn’t much anyone can do for you, not matter how much evidence and proof you’re shown. Some people will believe a lie instead of the truth simply because the lie agrees with what they want to believe and allows them to live a life full of sin and degradation. I’m not saying that you are this type of person, I’m just trying my best to give you my take on why people ignore the truth and follow lies.

Good luck getting any help from the moderators. You can use any name you want as long as you provide a real email address. Since this isn’t a traditional forum where you you would have to join in order to post anyone willing to waste their time can post you using your handle. The only way to stop whoever is doing it is either for the moderators to start doing their job (unlikely) or for Alex to change the article comment software (more likely since the money bomb was so successful).

I thought there was something up with Sacto mayor, I couldn’t put my finger on it. I guess this story kinda adds to that.
However, Americans have been so decieved for so long about everything, they basically live in a dream world. The layers of propoganda are so numerous, that it’s nearly impossible to decipher what is truth and what is fiction.

Does anyone find it just a little disturbing that Mr. Emanuel holds dual citizenship and very likely was not born in the USA and yet he and President Obama are lecturing us on the new responsibilities of American citizenship? As I recall, President Obama still has not produced his birth certificate as a qualification of office and citizenship. Yet Mr. Emanuel and President Obama have become experts
on the topic of telling us the responsibilities of being an American citizen. Personally I think they have to be joking or have shocking nerve.
