Smart Grid: Government spying targets Rural America

I’ve been reading the stimulus bill. When I saw the term Smart Grid on page 232 of the “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009,” I stopped reading so fast I almost gave myself whiplash. If you haven’t heard about Smart Grid, listen up. Smart Grid is closely related to the National Animal Identification System (NAIS), and both programs are designed to spy on Americans. Even more disturbing than the purpose of these government-condoned intrusions into our lives is the fact that the Obama Administration feels that Smart Grid is so important that it had to be funded in the stimulus package—which is supposed to be used for emergencies only. What’s the emergency? Why does Smart Grid need to be implemented within 60 days of the bill passing? Here come the answers, and none of them are good.
What is Smart Grid?
Smart Grid is part of a global initiative to manage information, all information. This is not some dire fictional prediction; it exists right now, right here in the United States, and thanks to President Obama, the Secretary of the Treasury can lend the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), a division of the Department of Energy, $3.25 billion to implement Smart Grid:
“(B) the Secretary shall, without further appropriation and ‘without fiscal year limitation, loan to the Western Area Power Administration, on such terms as may be fixed by the Administrator and the Secretary, such sums (not to exceed, in the aggregate (including deferred interest),$3,250,000,000-in outstanding repayable balances at anyone time) as, in the judgment of the Administrator, are from time to time required for the purpose of [...] In carrying out the initiative, the Secretary shall provide financial support to smart grid demonstration projects in urban, suburban, tribal, and rural areas, including areas where electric system assets are controlled by nonprofit entities and areas where electric system assets are controlled by investor- owned utilities.
Ostensibly, Smart Grid is about energy efficiency and climate change. This intelligent power grid gathers information about individual energy use via sensors embedded in the transmission lines and in homes and businesses. The government, via WAPA, will know what temperature you keep your home or business at. If you keep your domicile warmer or cooler than the temperature approved by the federal government, you pay more. To some, this is an acceptable arrangement, until they discover what else Smart Grid can do.
What’s in your closet?
According to IBM, one of the two corporations which will receive most of the money (the other is GE),

The world is becoming interconnected. With a trillion networked things—cars, roadways, pipelines, appliances, pharmaceuticals and even livestock—the amount of information created by those interactions grows exponentially.
All things are becoming intelligent. Algorithms and powerful systems can analyze and turn those mountains of data into actual decisions and actions that make the world work better. Smarter.

And if the above statements aren’t enough to get you thinking, how about this:
Nanotechnology e-textiles for biomonitoring and wearable electronics-
If current research is an indicator, wearable electronics will go far beyond just very small electronic devices or wearable, flexible computers. Not only will these devices be embedded in textile substrates but an electronics device or system could ultimately become the fabric itself. Electronic textiles (e-textiles) will allow the design and production of a new generation of garments with distributed sensors and electronic functions. Such e-textiles will have the revolutionary ability to sense, act, store, emit, and move – think biomedical monitoring functions or new man-machine interfaces – while ideally leveraging an existing low-cost textile manufacturing infrastructure.
Here’s the scenario: you buy a pair of socks, using your credit or debit card (cash is already being discouraged). Because of Smart Grid, your house will be able to read the bar code on those socks as you bring them through the door and add them to a list it keeps of your clothes; size, price, origin, when worn, etc. The computer that controls your home’s thermostat and lights also controls your wardrobe, budget, social habits, and even your eating habits. The refrigerator reads the bar codes on your food. Someone with access to that information knows when you eat, what you eat, what you paid for it, and how long something has been in the fridge.
If you’re like me, and do a lot of canning, you’re probably thinking, “so what?” That’s what my initial thought was. It can’t read a bar code if there isn’t one. Hmmm. What if your home’s computer believed that based on how many people live in the home there’s not enough food being purchased? How long do you think it would take the electronic nanny to notify child protective services or other authorities?
Again, this isn’t science fiction. It’s happening right now in South Bend, Indiana, and Florida and California. Now that President Obama’s spending package has been pushed down our windpipes, effectively choking off any opposition, look for development of an electronic super nanny by Big Brother. This is change we can believe in? It’s change alright rural America, and it’s coming for you. Notice on GE’s page there are no pictures of urban or suburban dwellings, only a rural home? An oversight? Not according to Alan Keyes.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Keyes in the summer of 2008. He told me then that rural people should understand that there is a concerted effort to remove all control from rural areas and concentrate it in Washington D.C. After reading about the billions of dollars the White House has allocated to watching its rural citizens, I’d say he hit the nail on the head. We are the targets; the lonely little home on GE’s website might as well have a bull’s eye on the roof. Dr. Keyes told me the Illuminati who are running D.C. are worried about rural people because we are exposed to less media than our urban counterparts: we’re harder to control.
Apocalypse now
One of the largest components of Smart Grid is already being implemented by the USDA; it’s called the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) it requires farmers to implant a RFID tag into the body of all of their livestock–cows, pigs, goats, chickens, sheep, all livestock. The NAIS threatens to destroy small-scale family farms. If you’re not familiar with the NAIS, here are a couple of resources: Downsize DC, NAIS: Too little too late? and NAIS: Let’s do some fuzzy math. Coupled with Smart Grid, the NAIS strengthens the ability of Government officials to control rural Americans as completely as they control people in the cities.
Remember, President Obama believes implementing Smart Grid is urgent. He wants the program to expand quickly, with all of us on the thinking grid by 2011. All of us. Resistance is futile.

You can always tell a salesman snake pitch when they have to add words to spruce it up like “Smart”. Or “Soft taxes.”
You don’t have to use pitches like “Smart Gold” to sell the item because everyone automatically wants it.
This grid system sounds like it should be named “Freedom violation Grid” or “Grid of chains.”

I am in the rural area.Without notice they changed by meter to a Smart Meter, I encountered the installer as I was leaving my driveway. Had it for about one year. He said as i suspected it was to charge according to market demand pushing people off peak load into using the base load off hours. I had no idea this could had a senor to read bar codes. Is this a new model?

There is absolutely no letter that could be written; let the letter be a rude or polite one, that could help us. The only way to get our land and freedom back is if we go at war with them. How can the birth certificate be a contractual relinquishing of rights? If you are under 18 you cannot sign into valid contracts. Speaking of “smart fabrics”, as in “smart socks” for example, or “smarty pants” as another, by the time I get done working in the garden and have worked up a “bit of a sweat”, which normally happens here in The South, the only message my smart socks will be sending is SOS, which stands for Stinky OLD Sweat, which I imagine will be of greatest interest to who (or whatever) is on the receiving end of that message, especially if I decide to keep on wearing those fancy UNwashed smart socks every time I work in my little garden all HOT southern summer long. Wait and see what message those smart socks will be sending to their “minders” by the time the neighbors hogs get done with them, ha! I ignorantly, at the time installed such equipment while working for a hvac contractor. It was a piliot program put on by the department of energy and the bonnivil power admin, the bpa,s program was rf, cell technology} the department of energy was internet based. the local power companys were asked to participate. Dealing with the customer i found lots of lies and deception regarding heating system shut down times, some elderly folks had there heating shut off for over 4 hours at a time. After some time {a year} i began to understand the down side of this program as did my employer. One thing i learned is that its true they can know way too much, many times we had to get them to access the customers p/c to help with the networking end of the set up, that was scary to me. WAY toooo much power. I live off the grid thank God

Space satelites track us all down to your body heat you are not off the grid in reality. If you use the internet that is a connection to HAL, RFID tags are thin as paper and is in everything already.

Have a few of those sitting around the house and they play
all kinds of hell with their control grid.
Try just passing a card with a magnetic info strip near one
of those. The card is erased!
There are ways around all this stuff. Like remove the
magnetron tube, (source of microwaves) from a microwave
oven. Sit it on a table plugged in and leave the house for
awhile. Without its protective shielding the tube sprays
microwaves all over. That fouls up any kind of detecting
devices in the area.
Proof? Try holding your transistor radio near a microwave
oven while its on and see what you hear.

Speaking of magnetrons, did you see the one in the movie Watchmen? Ozymandias placed it in the ceiling panels in a hallway to target a number of people who would walk through, giving them cancer with the intent on blaming it on Dr. Manhattan. Very much like the “gang stalking” cases that have been springing up, microwave attacks on unsuspecting people…by the time they finally think something’s up, the perpetrators have moved away and removed all evidence, making the victim appear insane and unnecessarily, unverifiably suspicious.

I heard years ago through Quixtar, that they would have ’smart’ refrigerators that would tell you when to buy milk, OJ, etc. AND GET THIS, ’smart’ toilets that tell the government what has been in your body, what you eat and drink and swallow. THINK about that one.

John 3:16. Jesus suffered a horrible death and rose again 3 days later to take
the penalty of YOUR sins! He loved you so much that He provided a way for man
to escape the lake of fire! All you must do to be saved is BELIEVE in Him(trust
in Him to save you). That is it! No works or anything you do can save you! May
God open your eyes, that one day I may see you in heaven. Read the Word of
God(I recommend the King James version) before rejecting it! Death is fleeting.
You may NOT have tomorrow! For death comes when we least expect it! Make sure
you are saved TODAY! The Bible condemns the rich, the wealthy, those who take
advantage of the poor, so it CANNOT have been made up by the elite. Because the
Word clearly CONDEMNS people such as those! Read the Word for yourself and see
that the claims are true!!!
I am a Christian, and STILL struggle with sin. Many so called Christians are
arrogant and hypocritical and think they have it all together. It is my desire
to do RIGHT as a Christian but will falter just like anyone else.

I assume others feel this way, it’s why news of turmoil enthralls us, it’s why people find it hard to look away from car accidents, rubbernecking on our own fate via voyeurism of the fate of others. The only chance we will have to see ourselves die is to watch someone else do it for us. If we weren’t fascinated by death and dying, cemeteries would not exist, flowers on graves are a testament to the fascination with death, memorials are not for the fallen soldiers, they are homage to atrocities. Perhaps there is no agenda against mankind other than mankind’s own unconscious self-destruction, walking toward our own enslavement out of unknowing curiousity, the final frontier, what does it feel like to die, in an infowar, the rarest gem of information is to have knowledge of death. Or perhaps I’m just confused…perhaps I need to sleep more…I appologize, my mind is wandering today.

Would you not agree that what the establishment is doing, by taking our freedoms for their own profit, is of an evil nature? Would you not say that they are violating the very premise of the Bible by finding ways to eliminate us (mind altering chemicals that ultimately KILL, removing any hope of living a life as stated by Jesus by enjoying life here, etc.). The Bible also says ’spare the rod and spoil the child’. As for your final statement, “oh yes protect your families from intuders-shoot if need be”, does that not contradict your admonishment to all? You say thou shalt not kill but it’s ok to shoot an intruder. Sure, I understand that taxes should be paid if that is what is set up for the betterment of society. That, however, has been adulterated and is being used for their own gain and control over us. This is very far from the betterment of society. I simply do not agree with your ideology to say we should be sheep but also give the permission to kill intruders. If it is ok to kill intruders, what is your definition of intrusion? Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is being intruded upon. Would you kill if it comes to your house? Which part of your beliefs will you adhere to? I think you are confused, as many are in these times, and would not know what you would do until it comes home to roost. We are merely trying to preempt the possibility of an inescapable finale by heading it off at the pass.
