Socialists Exploit OWS to Push “Millionaires March”

Instead of demanding Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and the conspirators at Goldman Sachs and the Federal Reserve be arrested for financial crimes against humanity, the OWS socialists will march on the homes of a handful of wealthy people in New York and demand the state not repeal a 2 percent tax and the rich pay a “fair share” of taxes.

Between 400 and 800 OWS marchers will hold oversize checks they claim demonstrate how much less the wealthy will pay when the law expires. The march is scheduled to begin at 59th Street and Fifth Avenue about 12:30pm then continue to the Upper East Side, according to Fox News.

The march was organized by Working Families Party, New York Communities for Change, Strong Economy for All and United NY, members of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

It appears many OWS supporters have fallen under the sway of professional socialists and Marxists who last week descended on the movement encamped on the outskirts of Wall Street.

As we noted last week, the Working Families Party is a spin-off of the New Party, a now defunct organization founded by the Democratic Socialists of America. It gets support from SEIU, a labor union that has used violence against its opponents. The former boss of SEIU, Andy Stern, is an Obama confidant.

New York Communities for Change is the new name for the scandal-ridden ACORN, an organization founded by Wade Rathke, a veteran of the Maoist oriented Students for a Democratic Society, or SDS, in league with organizers of Saul Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation. Chicago community groups like the IAF are known for taking money from the globalist Ford Foundation.

“The CIA uses philanthropic foundations as the most effective conduit to channel large sums of money to Agency projects without alerting the recipients to their source,” writes James Petras, who documents the Ford Foundation’s history of collaboration with the CIA.

Michael Kink, the director of Strong Economy for All, is a Democrat Party operative. The group is supported by the SEIU. Patrick Gaspard, who served as the political director for the labor union, serves as a political director for Obama. Last March, Obama appointed the former SEIU boss Andy Stern to his National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform. Stern sits on the Executive Committee of America Coming Together funded by George Soros and has told union leaders they are expected to do political work for the Democrats.

The SEIU has called for its members to march on the Financial District tomorrow in a brazen effort to exploit OWS coverage and merge it with “collective bargaining” efforts by Verizon workers and art auctioneers at Sotheby’s.

It is not clear how many OWS protesters have joined the “Millionaires March” calling for increased taxes. At 1 PM EST, The Wall Street Journal reported that around 100 protesters began heading north from 59th Street and 5th Avenue.
