Tech savy proponents might think it’s great, meanwhile skeptics and naysayers still deny its existence, but microphones and internal listening devices are being installed in hi-tech hardware, and have been for several years.
Motorola released a fact sheet concerning their next generation HD cable boxes and broadband devices and admitted that:
This innovative plug-and-play technology enables broadband operators to offer consumers a way to control their digital services by voice commands with no complicated set-up or the need for training. Consumers can "talk" to their TV through a remote which incorporates a microphone. By just spoken commands, they can navigate digital programming, the IPG and on-demand services using phrases like "scan sports" or "find movies with Julia Roberts". From a consumer’s perspective, the solution only requires a small receiver which attaches to the cable set-top to receive signals from the enhanced remote. The technology, which recognizes over 100,000 phrases and deciphers multiple languages, has been field tested in an alpha deployment on the Motorola DCT2000 digital set-top platform."
The next generation equipment is being fused by Motorola into their ‘AgileTv‘ program, which will allow customers to use voice commands to search and choose programs, listen to music, order movies, etc etc. The program is called ‘PromptU’ and promises to allow seamless voice recognition in order to remove tedious typing and scanning by customers to find what they want. The PromptU spoken search is described as:

Last year Microsoft also acquired its own listening technology in the Tellme Networks which will allow consumers to choose and interact with multimedia via voice recognition software over their own systems. Of course what they won’t tell you is how these voice recognition commands will be interpreted, which of course will be done by internal audio devices called microphones – implemented into the hardware via remotes, boxes, or even ones as small as mobiles and pdas.
Bill Gates has been championing this next generation, interactive technology, and in his Strategic Account Summit speech last year, he glowed over the introduction and acceptance of this new technology by customers. Apparently, the industry is ecstatic that the privacy concerns aren’t presenting any kind of hurdle for consumers who are only intent on getting things that are bigger, faster, and in higher resolution. As long as it blinks and lets them veg out, all the better.
Web 2.0 should actually be called World 2.0 and will incorporate technology into every aspect of our lives, even more so than it is now. The next generation of cable boxes, internet, IPTV, VOIP, iphones, PDAs, and mobiles are all being absorbed into the control grid; and the cameras, microphones and other spy technology is just being pitched to the public as a product feature, rather than the all-invasive big brother hardware that it is. Private companies don’t mind it because it allows more focused marketing strategies, ie more profits for the bottom line; and of course governments love it because it allows them to circumvent privacy rights by integrating with companies in order to use this technology grid to spy on its own people.
But to simplify it all, yes, microphones exist in our cable boxes and computers, and will continue to be used, whether we accept it or not. The corporations are listening, the governments are listening; are you?

The first Bible officially given to us was in 393 AD. at the
Council of Hippo. This was the Latin Vulgate.
This Holy Latin Bible remained the official Bible of the Church
until the Vatican II council ordered it to be changed. In it’s
place was put the New Revised Latin Vulgate, which is a
horrible misstatement of the original.
The first Bible ever printed in the English language is the
Douay Rheims, New Testament, in 1582; and the Old
Testament in 1609.
Since then, Satan has built a tower of Babel of bibles, starting
with the abomination put forth by Luther, and King James,
followed by so many heresies called ‘bibles.’
The first book ever printed in the history of humanity was the
Latin Vulgate Bible, just 2 years after the invention of the
printing press.
Why do we make such an issue of this? Look about and you
will see a divided Christian house, teaching a variety of
messages which do the tower of Babel and Satan honor.
The only true Bible in the English language is the Douay
Rheims, and in the Latin, the Sacra Biblia Vulgata. All others
are incomplete and erroneous, and should be destroyed by
those who seek the truth.

Let us look at some of the reasons for the Protestants falling
away, and their errors. When Father Martin Luther, a very
intellectually brilliant Augustinian monk and Doctor of
Theology, said to Pope Julius II: “I will not serve,” he left the
Roman Catholic Church, and married a nun, and had five
children by her. He was formally excommunicated in 1520. He
was correct in opposing the Roman Catholic Church
Hierarchy who were preaching clerical celibacy while the
pope himself was living in the Vatican with his own Spanish
mistress.
Luther founded his own church, his own bible, and followed
the bible of the Jews (who did not believe in Jesus, the
Messiah, the Son of God), and came up with the present error
of a bible with seven books missing from the Old Testament.
The seven books and additional chapters and verses are
properly called “Deutero-canonical,” or “Second cannons.”
Luther formed Protestantism on disobedience against his vow
of obedience, and so Protestantism was founded on sin.
The most serious charges against main-stream Protestantism
is this, they deny the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the
Holy Eucharist; they deny some of the Seven Sacraments;
they deny the Blessed Ever Virgin Mary; and deny that Jesus
gave controlling authority, that is the Primacy, to Saint Peter.
By denying any part of the Bible, or the Sacraments, or the
authority of Peter, the Protestants are Antichrists.
In order to return to Christ, it is necessary for all Protestant
sects to:
a) accept and live the full 73 books of the Bible,
b) believe and live the Seven Sacraments which Jesus gave us,
c) accept and submit to the Primacy of Peter.
d) stop teaching the error called ‘The Rapture.’

This reminds me of the Russian Church along about 1914 or so. Just before the Bolsheviks burst in on the church hierarchy they were arguing with each other about what color their robes should be.
A few minutes later there was no need. They had been machine-gunned and all their robes were red. Some of us would rather address the crisis at hand and discuss which version of Holy Scripture is best or who’s gonna get punched out over it after the Republic is rescued.
It’s free speech, though, so write what you wish. It’s also my choice not to read it.

The Bible is quite simply the “greatest story ever told”, and I feel as though it is nothing more than a grand story started with the purpose in mind to divide the masses, brainwash it’s followers, and mislead/guide the human race away from our true power and divinity within ourselves. We ARE God, we ARE what we are looking for. Not some dude in the sky who watches everything we do. I do believe their is a creator, but I highly doubt that he is anything like the creator that religion has force fed us. We are all beings of light, true power, and eternally one soul. I find it to be a waste of time looking for guidance from somewhere/someone else when your intuition and soul are always there to guide you. Think about it… it wasn’t a prayer or the hand or voice of God that helped you when needed, it was YOU, because you are God.

Also, there have always been Bible believers that were never part of the Catholic Church. They are not Protestants, they are Bible believers. The Latan Valgate comes from a line of corrupt manuscripts which come from Alexandria, Egypt. The line of manuscripts for the KJV come from Antioch, Syeria where they were first called Christians in the book of Acts.
Look in your Bible and read Acts 8:37. You cannot because it is not there. You know why it is not there, because it goes against Catholic doctrine, THAT’S WHY!

This listening crap is also in car radios.
I never realized how clear it sounds until a friend of mine was bumped in the rear enough to deploy the air bag. A voice came over the radio calling him by his name and asked if he needed help. He said no and the voice went away.
My elderly mother has Life Line and they demonstrated how well they can hear a person in every room in the house and even outside in the front and back yard, or out in the garage. My mother practically whispers and when nearly 70 feet from the mike, outside the house with the sliding glass door closed she was testing the system and asked the monitor “can you hear me now” and the monitor said, “yes I can hear you.”
Based on this demonstration, if your neighbor has this installed, the system can probably pick up converstations in the house next door and with word filtering and voice recognition systems, who knows, they can probably monitor everyone, even those that do not own or have such equipment.
With voice recognition and filtering systems, I had read they can follow an non subscriber’s conversation from one cell phone to the next, as they pass through a busy market or resturant. The key is voice recognition filters which can filter and extract one individuals spoken words from a background of chatter.

I got a question for you. Have you ever heard of the JesOuiji?
It’s something like a Ouji board with all the letters of the alphabet and has a movable indicator that a high priest puts his hand on, along with someone else seeking words and consultation with Jesus.
At the top of the board it states, “Verily I say Unto Thee” and off to the left of the board is the immage of Jesus’s face, as if he was speaking to the reader.
No one is allowed to move the indicator as they place their hands on it and ask Jesus a question. Slowly the indicator moves back and forth over the letters and spells out words and commands from our lord Jesus.
According to my neice who is 13, Jesus has entered a stage of sexual enlightenment and is attempting to make contact with any seeking salvation. Should we believe this high priest and his use of the JesOuiji who is attempting to bring the light of Jesus to this fine young maiden and virgin? He also has a copy of the old and new testiment and knows them line and verse and he seems to be helping lots of troubled people, especially younger ones. Everyone gives him money for the tedious readings and services he performs and it’s always so refreshing to actually be able to talk with Jesus when one is down and out. I never knew that Jesus needed lots of cash to get the word out and fight this war on terror, but now that he has explained it, it makes sense. Like every word saves one soul and it cost’s a buck because it’s hard and tedious work.

As for the kids doing bad things…… Well through my own personal journey, I learned by doing. That is the core of education. If you tell a kid to not touch a hot burner, he/she won’t really be sure about why, however let the kid touch the burner, without fail it will be the last time they touch it. If they lie and get caught, they will learn a lesson. If they hit their sister and the sister fights back, they will learn a lesson. etc, etc. They will never learn if they are just told what to do. It is the human spirit to be curious and adventerous and explorative. We learn by doing.

After having spent a lifetime pondering and searching for the truth, the door is deep inside each and every one of us and can’t be found by looking to the heavens alone. Yes the thread reaches out far beyond us as individuals, but you first have to thread the eye of the needle, which is the self, deep within. Merely sending the thread straight up and blindly following someone elses word and interpretation, without threading the eye of the inner self is a waste of one’s soul.
The task and the strength to perform this comes only from within. The making of a good marriage is very similar and only YOU know when it’s right and no one can really instruct you on just how that works, other than learning through life how to be honest with yourself. If you blow it, continuing to decieve oneself is not salvation, no matter how many times one chants THE WORDS.
Tragically, there are those among us that want everyone to chant the words as they abandon being honest with themselves. This is not salvation, but rather represents the desperation of the many that blew it and can’t admit it, even to themselves. These are the many of today, empty souls hungrier than vampires and this is really a tragedy so many have been misled and actually missed self honesty 101.
It’s really that simple, but it is the “empty souls” that have been dishonest with themselves and everyone else and they have become quite desperate, like a bunch of starving vampires that attempt to feed off the emptiness of soul starvation and fear. As they reach out at the brink of their death, let em go, there is nothing you can do for those that finally know that they are empty and dying because they refused to participate in the true meaning of life and God. They know they blew it now, but it’s too late for them to turn back, they are wretched until the bitter end, because their goblet is empty and refuses to fill on their insistence by their methods.

I worked in the communication industry for a couple of years, all this crap pumps out massive amounts of RF radiation. It will cook you, just being around it. I heard many years ago, that in the corner of the tv screens being made, a tiny camera was installed. The premise was, that while you’re watching tv, they can watch you. In fact, even when the tv is off, the camera could still transmit.
Therefore, it really is better to just unplug when you’re done. Better safe than sorry.

#239 – you are comparing apples & oranges. The speech synthesizing software that NOAA uses has nothing to do with text recognition, which is actually quite simpler. Voice recognition is trickier, and not always reliable. Ever tried using voice command? How many times have you had to repeat basic single words. Computers cannot process sound the same way humans can. They have to convert it to waveform patterns. Two people can say the same exact word, but the waveform can (and almost always does) look completely different. Just like fingerprints, all people produce distinct waveforms. That’s not to say that once a computer is trained to look for a specific waveform pattern from a specific person, it cant listen for it. But that requires someone going ahead and recording speech from that person, then programming the computer to do the task… in essence the gov’t would already have to have a target, be listening first and record conversation, then let a computer take over.
But, just as many here don’t always grasp what another user is saying, a computer has absolutely no capacity for determining what the subject is really talking about, or the context in which certain keywords are mentioned. 1 trillion bytes per second of processing speed does not give a computer the ability to ‘think’ as a human would. It only does what it’s preprogrammed to do, and does not have the flexibility of the human brain. Same problem those in robotics design face.
Recording the entire body of text or conversation makes no difference. It would take a human to take the time to manually review the material in question. Hate to say it, but the NWO guy seems to be telling you truth when he says the gov’t doesnt have the resoucres. If you wish to test the system, we all could just flood the internet and email with random keywords and see how long it takes for them to follow up. My guess it would be months or even years. The backlog they probably have now just from the last few years of eavesdropping must be astronomical. Dont buy into the fear of what the gov’t tells you. They want you to think they can do everything, when in fact they have nearly the same limitations as anyone else…. just a few better toys to play with. And no, it’s not like all the make-believe whiz-bang gadgetry you see on CSI.
The government is tuned in, no question about it. But to targets already known or suspected. An agent just reading this board could draw up a list lickety-split just for tomorrows listening.

If you don’t understand it, how do you know they aren’t spying on you, or worse? I don’t think it is an accident that everyone is being forced to “upgrade” to digital.

Digital equipment is cheaper to produce, signals are much more efficient to transmit (both in bandwidth and ERP), and delivers better end results in most cases. This change was inevitable, as the technology has existed for so long now. HDTV & DTV dates back well over 10 years now. The only possible gov’t conspiracy about it is the fact that publicly owned spectrum is being redesignated and auctioned off, with the gov’t reaping the profits. But hey, at least we get the coupons to help out.

I invite all my Canadian friends to show we mean business on September 11th, 2008 and join the March on Ottawa 2008. We demand an inquiry into the 24 Canadian deaths on 911. If you can’t make it, at least sign the petition and get everyone you know to do so as well. The awakening call for everyone should have been building 7 of the World Trade Center. In addition to the hardware bugs, the internet was “turned over to” the private sector for the same purpose. It was invented by DOD, NSA and Sun Microsystems – all of whom know how to fully exploit and eavesdrop on email, message board posts, instant messaging, etc. better than anyone on the planet. Did the American people think the government just decided to give them the internet out of the goodness of their hearts? It’s been a spy network, spying on the citizens of the world from its very beginning.
