Actually, it's an interesting point. Although it might be seized on to further restrict civil liberties, if America WAS attacked again, it would bring us back to the realization that there's more to worry about than "economic stimulus" and it would stick stuff like "cap and trade" on the back burner in light of more important things that Congress SHOULD be doing instead.

...though probably not. They'd likely use it as an excuse to do more bad things. But it's hard to say that'd be worse than what we're seeing come out of D.C. right now...

i thought you meant to say "with commercial planes there would be no patriot act, etc etc etc
because according to your theory since we supposedly didn't have them then as a result the government was behind the coverup, subsequent invasion of iraq, afghanistan, patriot act, homeland security....I disagree with you it just seems too much with the whole world watching the proponents of No Plane Theory state it really was a special effects movie trick that was played upon us??? How could that be??? I've watched clips of the attack and it looks like a pretty real plane to me.......even witnesses say they saw a plane coming and hitting the tower and your saying its not?? I agree with the coverup story and the gov was responsible for the attacks but to say there were no planes is going too far....I mean what about the 19 hijackers, all the admissions by the media about them training in Florida, is that false too it seems like just too much....anyone else with me on this one???

There were no commercial planes on 9/11. You were lied to ...again. Without commercial planes there would be no patriot act, no tsa, no homeland security, no preemptive invasions, no military act, no patriot act II, no renditions, no torture, no gitmo, no abu grahb, no war on terror, no multi-trillion dollar no-bid contracts, no anthrax scares, no deaths which now tally into the millions. There were no commercial planes on 9/11. All the murderous actions and agencies are based on fabricated lies.....again.

Voting for Ron Paul. over and over, will not change anything. Even if he wins, it certainly does not rise to the level of "revolution". A Ron Paul win could only hope to reform the government, at best, and at worst, be just one more exercise and lesson in futility, which the PTB would just love to teach us, once again.

No, the only thing that can truly qualify as "revolution" requires two elements:

1. The abolition of the current government.
2. The formation of an antirely new one, operating under an entirely new framework of restrictions, to prevent what happened to the current government, from promptly repeating itself in the next.

Does Ron Paul offer either?

No, he is just another part of the same hopelessly corrupted current government, which begs to be abolished, and he does not support a new and improved framework to better prevent the government from being taken over by special interests and used as a weapon against the rest of society.

Ron Paul may hang his political hat on the title of "reformer", but he is a far stretch from being "revolutionary".

Until Ron Paul comes out swinging, to form a large and broad-based political coalition organised to actually abolish the current government, and form a viable and improved framework for the next, I won't be wasting another minute of my time on his "revolution" that isn't, and looking for people who are ready for the real thing.

1984:

The illegals are involved in a disproportionate amount of criminal activity. The percentage of those incarcerated that are illegals is very high. They are a very big problem in this country. They deplete wages and suck our social services dry. We are bankrupt and we cannot afford them. The democrats form of "compassion" will leave us all destitute.

Oh, Osama Bin Laden could have walked a nuke across that border.

They were not that worried. Borders are very intricately entwined in national defense from a military perspective.

They are much concern when you are stating constantly we are being attacked, they are going to kill us. Through terrorism, not a mounted full frontal assault.

Yes, the border is very pertinent.

It should have been sealed.

To be blunt; you don't leave your whole back flank wide open.

What's wrong? He doesn't go to the same "holy" building as you do and therefore he is wrong and you're right?

Jon doesn't seem to be very religious, just like Lewis Black..
