After only a few days, Fox News does its "duty," and, of course, all the while, remaining "fair and balanced," finds reasons Americans should fear the Obama administration.
As Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart shows, the attacks on Obama – some that even the Fox hosts themselves considered ridiculous but still decided to air to sound off on – began in the first twenty-four hours of his presidency.
"Holy shit! Fox News is really scared about what might happen, oblivious to what already has," exclaimed Stewart, sounding as "shocked" as Claude Rains pretended to be about gambling in Casablanca.

After playing an old clip of Fox’s Bill O’Reilly sounding off on the "anti-Bush liberals" ("But this hate stuff, this rooting for the administration to fail in Iraq and other areas is un-American, unbecoming, and unacceptable. Like him or not, Mr. Bush is the elected leader of this country…" said O’Reilly in March of 2007), Stewart showed conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh talking about how he wants Obama to "fail," during an appearance on FOX News’ Hannity on Wednesday.
"I am hearing many Republicans say that — well, we want him to succeed and prominent Republicans," Limbaugh had said. "Yes, we wanted — they have laid down. They have totally — they’re drinking the Kool-Aid, too."
"So I shamelessly say, no, I want him to fail," O’Reilly said later in the interview with Hannity.
Not really joking, Comedy Central’s Stewart asked, "Does Bill O’Reilly think Rush Limbaugh hates America?"
Stewart posited that Limbaugh’s words could be considered "arguably treasonous."

I truly think we need to ‘clean up’ our talk show hosts…yes I think the Limbaugh should be
addressed with regard to his remak…which is clearly treason. He is apparently a sick man
and should not be in a position to in any way influence Americans.

I personally don’t see that much of a story here on the whole treason angle. It is not treason, and I do not think that Stewart believes it to be real treason. He, as a comedian, was merely pointing out the glaring hypocrisy of the neoconservative talking heads espousing that questioning the POTUS was treasonous then doing a 180 when the other team’s puppet is in office.
I do dislike Rush Limbaugh’s sentiment, “I hope he fails.” There is nothing wrong with hoping Obama fails in pushing though specific pieces of his agenda, but we should hope that the President, whether Obama or any future POTUS, succeeds in faithfully executing his duties as spelled out in the Constitution. Just don’t make that hope a high hope.

If you don’t like Rush then don’t listen. If you get into a discussion with someone know your position and provide logical thought to back it up. Just because Rush says he wants Obama to fail doesn’t mean he should be banned from speaking publicly the free market speaks and if the market wants Rush on the air let him be on the air. I may not agree with Rush but he does have freedom of speech and when we start declaring people treasonous or banning them from their jobs because of what they say then we in America don’t even have the illusion of freedom but the glaring truth of oppression.

I want President Obama to fail to execute the Clinton-Bush police-state apparatus. I want President Obama to fail to carry out his citizen disarmament policy. I want President Obama to fail to get a further stimulus or bailout passed with the infusion of more fiat “money” from the Federal Reserve. I want President Obama to fail to carry out the CFR’ empire by using our military as the army of the New World Order.
On the other hand, I want President Obama to succeed in obeying the words of the Constitution to which he took an oath twice. It was repeated to get the WORDS right and I want him to succeed according to the words of the rest of the Constitution and Bill of rRghts as they are read objectively according to the rules of English grammar.

Am I missing something about what Limbaugh said? Come on…what was so treasonous about saying I hope “he fails?”…talking about Obama? The media is having and has had a long love affair with our new president, so who is influencing who here? Seems to me the masses are influenced to fall in line with whatever direction the “establishment”wants to take, regardless how blatantly elitist and fascist things stand. And until they shut down the airwaves Limbaugh has the right to spew his right wing ideology – some of which is spot on, some which is not. And as Delphi has said here – Limbaugh like the others don’t get it or if they do get it, they don’t have the nerve to take it on – unlike Alex Jones has. Lastly, why would anyone care what someone like Limbaugh says, and why would anyone consider him a threat – just “what” is he suppose to be threatening? I’ve come to the conclusion that the most dangerous people of all are those who are willing to force someones’ mouth shut just because they don’t happen to agree with them or like what they say. When they start shutting down the airwaves and what can be said, remember, you won’t have the right to disagree or make a statement on anything you don’t like. But then again, I’m sure some won’t mind that and will be the first in line to bow before those who would take your freedoms. What a dull future this world has in store. It’s like 1984 is just around corner. Thank God they can’t take away what we “choose” to believe even if they sew our mouths shut.

Rush is garnering a ressurgence in his ratings. He is also pandering to the Religious Right over the past few days. We can hope all we want. God is still in control over all that is going on and if you think for a minute that world leaders are not subject to Him, then you are fooling yourselves. Obama will do according to what he is allowed by God, not by any secret society. Conspiracy is cool and even truer than fiction at times. But you cannot live in fear over what will happen. There’s a lot of people that have completely missed the point that Jon was trying to make. This segment wasn’t about what Rush Limbaugh said at all- it could have easily been Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Bill Kristol, or some other right wing nutjob. What Jon is saying is will people like Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Brett Hume, and others who said things during Bush’s administration like “you have to fall in line with the president because he’s the president and if you’re not, then you’re just not patriotic,” to the attackers of Obama. Now that a Democrat is in the drivers seat Jon is asking whether or not the right will be attacked as the left were when the Republicans had control. This has nothing to do with protecting Obama or racism or treasonous remarks. It’s a simple question of journalistic integrity.
Also for those freaking out because Jon Stewart said a radio talk show’s host’s comments are “arguably treasonous,” you have to keep in mind HE’S A COMEDIAN. His show isn’t on CNN or MSNBC, it’s on Comedy Central. He can say whatever he wants in the name of comedy and should be taken with a grain of salt. End of story.

that real treason has nothing to with the criticism of any person elected or unelected, you should have a right to vocalize publicly your opinions and views to anyone about any elected official.
However it is unlawful but, may or may not be treasonous to bear false witness against anyone or threaten harm to any one.
We need to stay focused on the real infowar and not to be preoccupied with all the extemporaneous slave mind control BS, and zero in on the only pertinent issue here in this clip.
The main issue here is, which btw is an important point, is that: The mind controllers are now more than ever, trying to equate that criticism of Barack Obama is treason, which of and in itself is treason!!! Sheesh!

*****Limbaugh’s girth is of no concern to me (I’m not exactly svelte ha). I just don’t buy into claims that he’s a true right-wing conservative. I used to listen to his show years ago fairly steadily. His decline in conservatism increased proportionate to his popularity and paycheck. Someone had to have *gotten to him*, if you grasp my gist. He became a shill for (re)publicans who are almost, to a man, no different than the ‘dumocrats’. I heard him on at least 3 occasions bash *christians* (of which I’m one), and he wasn’t “illustrating the absurd by being absurd” (i.e., feigning the tactics of the left) when he said the anti-christian things he did.
There was an interview within the last 5 years or so, I think..I wonder if I can find it online? In the interview Rush made reference to “My Rabbi”. It might have been said upon his return from a trip to Israel. I’m not sure of the circumstance, but I’m sure of what he said. Now..what’s the deal there!? I’ve always been curious about that. Is this fellow another *stealth jew* as is, for example, John Kerry (AKA, John COHN). Why would people of Jewish descent seek to hide their true heritage and identities? It must be because they don’t want to be persecuted and put onto trains for the camps, right?
Oh, wait..that’s over and done! Silly me..never mind! Oh..and by the way..Rush’s “comic brashness” I never found to be so comical at all. He’s hardly Gleason, or Skelton..or in the running for the Monty Python troupe. Limbaugh should stick to what he does best..making hundreds of millions for running his ’suck’. Stewart, in spite of his politics, is a great comedian, and even if he is just another repeater on his show…he does manage to sneak in more truth, than most of the talking heads….I mean, pointing out O’Reilly’s blind loyalty to Bush, in the context of his contempt for Obama, may help some Karl Rove Kool-Aid drinkers, finally, get off the sauce. And for Rush, this is just par for the course…I’ve got relatives who listen to him, who are like minded….for the wrong reasons….
Personally, I don’t think it’s treason to hope for a President’s Agenda to fail….but it should be treason, to hope for the American economy and way of life to fail (thanks, again Wall Street).
John Stewart, in spite of some clarity on key issues, does seem to be a high level shill for the NWO agenda… the worst case I’ve seen, was when he had Matt Taibbi on a few months back and they trashed the 9/11 Truth movement. I do not know if Alex Jones just ordered this, but although not on topic, on this Saturday, the 24th, this comment area has become what PrisonPlanet.com’s is…………PUT THE NUMERICAL SYSTEM BACK, please. The way it is now I see that the program uploads faster, as does Prison Planet’s, but THIS IS NOT PRISON PLANET. This is INFOWARS. Having all the comments come up at the same time this way speeds getting any article up if all the comments want to be read, but I am sure the program can have the numbers put back with it.
At the same time, I commend the program at PrisonPlanet.com for getting a “reply” link under each comment. That is something that would be nice here also.

Why don’t you guys start meeting up in groups, Sons of Liberty groups, and talking about ways you can really make a difference – like if you guys all meet once or twice a month in a certain area you can trade and barter – that’s a few less dollars in sales taxes going to the government.
You can do presentations and teach people trades you know to help them become more self-sufficient and engineer solutions to many problems they depend on the government or corporations to solve. Pick a theme like the TED talks ( http://www.ted.com ). Talk about the news – whatever. Start an agricultural cooperative, a common machine shop, specialize in homeschooling – start replacing these sick institutions and corporations with homegrown ones.
You can establish a physical connection with people so when times get really tough you already have a group of people you know personally – a community if you will – that can struggle together and increase your chances of a favorable outcome.
If you guys are just going to wait for everything to fall apart and chaos to break out – I’m telling you now it will be too late to do anything but fight for your life.

You can go to you tube and do a search on copying these clips or any other. Most of the ways are cumbersome and about half don’t work.
The easiest way I have found to copy them and have them converted to a format that can be viewed with almost any media player is to go to the real player web site and download their free software. You cannot copy with it but once you upgrade it once then that capability is available.
It’s pretty cheap and you can copy (flash movies) like the one above and convert it to any format you wish.

I’ve read various posts from people saying they voted Rep/Dem, hoping this time they would do the right thing. Although I haven’t been educated by Alex Jones for that long as I’ve been a busy American working and trying to keep my nose above water (now laid off), I’ve know for a long time that the Left/Right paradigm was a ruse and have voted straight Libertarian since shortly after the party’s formation. When it was just McCain and Ron Paul left in the party primaries they would not even mention Ron Paul’s name. IF they did they marginilized him, mocked him, and called his supporters names and backed McCain who they all said they did not like (and nobody liked) in the first place, who in no way could win against Obama.
