Stimulus Funds Go to Build North Carolina Fusion Center

RALEIGH — North Carolina will build a $56 million emergency nerve center in West Raleigh to coordinate the state’s response to hurricanes, floods, terrorist attacks and other disasters.

The center is among the first major public works projects in North Carolina mainly funded by the federal stimulus package, which is designed to jump-start the ailing economy. About $41.5million of the project’s cost will be paid with federal stimulus money, and the rest will come from the state.
“This project is a big win for North Carolina,” Gov. Beverly Perdue said in a statement.
“It provides a state of the art facility that will better coordinate key state services and is ready to put people to work in much needed jobs.”
The 237,000-square-foot facility will be the state command center where governors and state and federal disaster officials can oversee emergency relief efforts.
Among other things, the new center will have a wall projecting TV-camera views of highway congestion across the state, enabling officials to respond more rapidly to severe traffic tie-ups such as the one that occurred on Interstate 85 near Charlotte during an early March snowstorm.

Hate to tell you this but emailing congressmen does not work anymore .. All we can really do is raise awareness. 98% of america was against the balout, free trade Their offices were flooded with calls yet it still passed .. It doesn work anymore RAISING AWARENESS DOES

As you said, 98% of the people were “aware’ that bailing out bankers was bullshit, but it passed anyways, and everyone is still doing nothing.
So, if 98% of the people were aware of the bailout bullshit and already did call congress, yet the bailout still went through and is still continuing to go through…..
Then what the &^%$ is “raising awareness” going to do?
The solution is same solution that mankind has been issuing to tyranny since history has been written. You fight it. Its a no-brainer…
For the people who think that the NWO wants us to fight, you are dead wrong. They want us to sit and complain about it, yet still go to work everyday thereby perpetuating their control and power and perpetuating our slavery to them.
THATS what they want us to do.

I think the point that is trying to be made is that “THEY” are going to do what ever they want whether we approve or not.
—-> It is my opinion is that it is past time for resistance. As our resistance even now is being ignored. –> I foresee the time that “We The People” of this country (what there is left of it) will need to make a massive march on Washington DC, seize it and take our country back, just like it is stated in the US Constitution. Re-instate the Constitution and re-declare out independence. I have several ideas on for an add/delete list for amendments to the Constitution that will make it more very difficult for the banking interests both domestic or foreign to ever takes control of the government again.

Damn, this video puts things in perspective! It is reprehensible that private firms use incarcerated individuals as a source of slave labor! I’m not saying that these people should not be punished accordingly if they committed a crime (and I mean REAL crimes; not possession of a few joints). Oh, please! The only thing that is going to happen in 2012 is a galactic alignment with a few extra earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. My son was down in Mexico recently at the Mayan Chichanitsa Temples and talked to the people down there. All of this hype about 2012 end of the world stuff is just a way for people to make money!

Fuck!!! I live in Bryson NC. The western part. The place where a sherrif’s deputy broke a known killer loose last saturday. This pice of shit killed 2 of my friends and then a 5×5 female sherrif deputy let him out. They set up road block and check points but did not find either of them. They did get at least 12 people for DUI’s. I feel much safer knowing that they got all them drunks off the road.

I went to the local gov on monday to commplain about excesive county taxes, the road I travel on to get home has had a land slide that has not been fixed for over 3 weeks and they said 2 weeks ago that it would be 4 months before work will start, and the POLICE STATE!! I am so fucking mad!! Now we have this story above. this place is the police state!! Money for the cops but not the people. FUCK!!!

Oh I forgot to mention that the meetings for county gov is every other mon. at 7pm. They decided to have it at 1pm and I don’t know why. This is in the court house and this happened while court was in session. They never do this. Check out my story and then if you feel inclined call our sherrif. Ask for Sherrif Curtis Chochran (828)-488-4844. They get tired of my cmoplaints so it might be different if they had a bunch of calls from others out of state. POWER TO THE PEACEFUL

We need to start taking videos and photographs of the people who attend these fusion centers. They have scheduled training, guest speakers, etc. I would be a good idea to start a profile on all the volunteers so that they can be watched and trailed as needed.

This area is right in the middle of the NCSHP complex, the state fairgrounds, and is very close to a railroad junction.The National Guard has a squadron of Apache’s right there as well. Funny, that doesn’t make me feel any safer.
By the way, anybody in NC ever seen the huge prison complex in Vance County? Not the one in Butner. I’ve got pics taken from a radio tower next to it, the thing is enormous! Twin blade choppers bringing folks in and out.
