Study: Naps Linked with Higher Risk of Death

New research shows middle-age and older adults who take naps may be at an increased risk of dying.

Experts discovered naps were linked with an increased risk of dying from respiratory diseases.

The study found that those between 40 and 79 years of age, who napped daily for less than an hour, were 14 percent more likely to die over a 13 year period compared to those who did not nap.
