The Tea Party movement is now almost completely unrecognizable from what it was a few short years ago. It came to prominence in 2008 when the Libertarian Party of Illinois planned to hold an April 15, 2009 anti-tax “Boston Tea Party” in Chicago. In February 2009, the idea grew after CNBC personality Rick Santelli, speaking from the floor of the Chicago stock exchange, criticized the Obama administration’s tax and economic policies and urged Americans become Tea Party activists.
![]() |
|
| Establishment Republicans plan to run Sarah Palin as the Tea Party presidential candidate. | |
In fact, the idea began as the Boston Tea Party in 2006. It was founded by a group of former Libertarian Party members who criticized the party for its “abdication of political responsibilities,” declaring that “Americans deserve and desperately need a pro-freedom party that forcefully advocates libertarian solutions to the issues of today.” The Boston Tea Party opposed statism at all levels. “The Boston Tea Party supports reducing the size scope and power of government at all levels and on all issues, and opposes increasing the size, scope and power of government at any level, for any purpose.”
How things have changed.
It didn’t take long for establishment Republicans to steal the idea and claim it as their own. A few weeks after Rick Santelli made his comments, Ron Paul’s media coordinator Steve Gordon went on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow show and complained about what he characterized as an attempt by Republicans to hijack the idea. Gordon specifically blamed former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee.
It didn’t take long for Republicans to embrace the idea. RNC Chairman Michael Steele, Sarah Palin, and Rep. Michele Bachmann from Minnesota have suggested the Tea Party should be rolled into the Republican Borg hive.
Now there will be a national Tea Party convention in Nashville. It will be a parade of Republican statists with former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin leading the charge. “I look forward to meeting many Americans who share a commitment to limited government, common sense and personal responsibility. This movement is truly a grassroots, organic effort. It’s not a top-down organization,” Palin wrote for USA Today, “it’s a ground-up call to action that already has both political parties rethinking the way they do business.”Ground-up? Tea Party candidates for the 2010 mid-term elections “will be expected to support the Republican National Committee platform,” according to Fox News. “If a particular candidate meets the proposed Tea Party criteria he or she would be eligible for fundraising and grassroots Tea Party support.”
“Once elected to office, members would be required to join a Congressional Tea Party Caucus, attend regular meetings and be held accountable for the votes they cast. Those who stray from the Tea Party path would risk losing it’s support and a likely re-election challenge.”
In other words, business as usual. Under the rule of George W. Bush and the Republicans, “inflation-adjusted spending on the combined budgets of the 101 largest programs they vowed to eliminate in 1995 has grown by 27 percent, according to the libertarian Cato Institute. Eight years of a Republican president, six with a Republican-controlled Congress, resulted in bigger government, the biggest expansion of entitlements in 40 years and a $700 billion bailout of Wall Street that continues to grow,” writes Donny Ferguson of the Libertarian National Committee.
Maddow explains how the Republican subverted Tea Party movement is a blessing for statist progressives.
Bush and the Republicans also invaded two sovereign nations and killed more than a million Iraqis. Democrats by and large supported these war crimes. They also overwhelmingly supported the Republicans when they attacked the Constitution and the Bill of Rights (the so-called Patriot Act being only the most egregious example).
If the co-opted Tea Party embraces the Republican National Committee platform, it will finalize its mutation from a grassroots libertarian organization into an establishment statist tool pushing a national debt for the banksters, bloated government, taxation, perpetual war, and continued attacks on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
It should be obvious by now that the Republicans plan to run Sarah Palin against Obama in 2012. This will be a disaster for the Republicans because many Americans are not fooled by her sudden Tea Party plumage. Republicans are desperate to regain control of the White House and Congress and give us four or eight more years of Bush and his warmongering statist neocons. It is a shabby and absurdly transparent gimmick.
Real Tea Party activists and supporters need to reject Palin, Huckabee, Gingrich, and the Republicans out of hand. They should be vocal about their rejection. Otherwise we will end up with another ideologue and teleprompter reading cigar store Indian for the ruling elite.

All these so called Tea Party candidates have been vetted and compromised by the zionist lobby.

If it were Paul/Palin it may be worth trying. As it is I want to know what her position is on public hangings for elected officials that violate the oath of office. If we cannot insist on this then we will have anarchy. As soon as the people realize that they are the only ones who have to follow any “law” they will realize they are slaves to a lawless ruling class, and the Rebellion will begin.
All my prayers, insist on oath compliance or surrender to the NWO.

First off, these so called Tea Partiers are in bed with the GOP. The Tea Party convention led to the discovery that those parties involved are NOT non-profit organizations. I should know, I belong to the TRUE Patriot movement in this country, and we were going to attend the convention until we learned of the steam covering their s---.
Freedon Force US, The National Precinct Alliance and Independence Caucus are the true Tea Party movement, and we are taking over the GOP and cleaning house. They can follow us, or get the f**k out of the way. We are not associated with, nor do we acknowledge Sarah Palin’s existance. Palin and McCain can go f**k themselves.
We are taking over at the precinct level and moving up from there – city – county – state and then DC! You can sit around here all day and complain about our marxist government, or you can get off your asses and get into the fight!

I also said maybe 5-6 months ago on these threads that the term and movement known as TEA PARTY was dead due to usurptation. No suprise I am right, and it’s verified by it’s continued and growing exposure.
Our tactic should be to re-usurp the TEA PARTY, then take control. Let’s all join as one and replace the fake crap? Let them build the foundation and the house, we will then move in. We will use their tactics on them.

Time to abandon the Tea Party Movement, as that well has been poisoned. It need to be rejected out of hand and another one started, to show those who have hijacked it that we are on to them and are not going to buy into it again, or ever.
If we cannot join with like-minded people to organize politically, and not be systematically subverted, then we are being denied our basic rights, namely the democratic process. government and taxation by consent, and with genuine representation.
If we are not allowed to freely organize ourselves, then we should free ourselves, by any means necessary, until we can.

The Republican party is the Tea Party. What you idiots fail to realize is that Bush was the MOST LIBERAL REPUBLICAN TO EVER HOLD OFFICE. He wasn’t a republican at all. He and his daddy and Slick Willy conspired together, along with McCain and a few others to make the Republican party the “progressive/liberal” wing and the democrat party the “extreme left communist” wing. THAT is why the republican party collapsed. The conservatives got fed up with their liberal leanings. And the other republicans, the Ron Pauls and the Sarah Palins, got the message. What are you going to do when your hero Ron Paul endorses Palin?
Anyway, you’re all getting ahead of yourselves. This country can’t survive another year of Obama, let alone make it to 2012.

The Talmud and our Constitution are mutually exclusive.
The Talmud is the sacred law book and ideology that most modern Jews adhere to.
The Talmud is the enemy of the rights and lives of all non-jews, and their various constitutions.
So what does that make any Jew that follows the Talmud?
Am I “anti-semitic” if I simply quote the Talmud and how it commands Jews to behave in their dealings with non-jews?
If the Talmud is damning in and of itself, then why do I have to shoulder the blame for simply reading it and reporting what it says?

Washtington and Wall Street’s ability to monetize successive financial crisis only compound the problem.
They truly are writing cheques in Washington with their lying mouths that their asses can in no way cash.
What people are predicting will collapse in 10 or 20 years actually has fewer than 10 or 20 months to run it’s course.
Each successive crisis is bigger than the last and more frequent because China has said no more and the governments of the West continue to up the ante that only re-inforces the belief that the USA and it’s satraps fully intend on hyper-inflationary default or outright default.

Taxed Enough Already. That does not get enough attention. The message is to ANY and ALL politicians.
Taxed Enough Already. Just so happens that is something Rep Paul supporters can easily identify with, but they are by far not the only ones who feel taxed too much.
Let the movement grow, no need to point fingers at so called hijackers, or your message may die on taxes might die. The convention this week is getting word of taxed enough already out to more people than infowars/prisonplanet combined has in a decade.
This article is further evidence to many that Kurt and Alex are paranoid. If they stop acting this way, maybe they could rise up in the movement further than the ‘fringe’.

Palin is the weakest possible candidate against Obama. The Republicans would basically be handing Obama another term on a silver platter.
Furthermore, Obama is planning spending cuts from 2011 onwards, so this rhetoric will coincide with the Presidential campaign trail, making the Tea Party’s platform little other than an emotionally-charged Alaskan failtrain running straight into a brick wall.

I say we still need a fundamental revolution in this country. It’s time to replace entitlements with civil responsibilities where no one gets anything without giving something in return. Yes, there are exceptions for those who are physically unable but everyone else needs to work. Food is the biggest problem I see coming – rather a shortage of it. Let those who don’t have jobs work in food production. Outlaw the patenting of all foods by Monsanto, etc. and amend the constitution to make food seeds and the collection of them a fundamental God-given right. Revamp the economy to a local level and seek to assure that everyone has a roof over their head. Ban the banks from foreclosures and then let them go under if necessary. Balance the budget and ban the Fed…..

Collectivism, NO!
Everyone should be free to cooperate, where it is to our mutual advantage, but we MUST remain free to determine that, each for ourselves.
Allow people to reatin the fruits of their own labor, and most people who want one will be able to own a home of their own. Outlaw any law that would cause a person to lose a home of average value or less due to tax debt. Every person must have a fair chance at owning a decent home, and resting assured that, once it is paid for, they can remain there for the rest of their life, even if they never work another day.

I can’t stand Maddow or Olbermann. I suspect they’ll be off the air soon enough, hopefully along with Hannity and the Fox News “all-stars”, 24 hours news talking heads are a cancer on America. Her argumentative in your face tone could turn off the most liberal viewer, or even the most poor among us who could benefit from government programs or healthcare. Instead of arguing for a bill on the facts, which I’m sure they don’t even know, because they’d rather argure about “surface” things instead of actually reading the 2000 page bill and making arguments based on facts. When you listen to the 24 hours news malignant media and our so called politicians they all have this tone that is so annoying, you wonder who they are actually trying to help, or even what agenda they are trying to get through, and for whom?

The Kingdom of Heaven is within us, so it is here, right now, just waiting to be revealed. We just need to manifest it.
But how can we manifest the Kingdom of Heaven without removing all the s--- that is now polluting it and hiding it from view?
So long as we believe the Kingdom is coming, rather than here NOW, we will not be doing what we should be doing to reveal and manifest it.
Lets trying cleanng up the place and taking out the garbage and see what happens, instead of waiting and believing that it is somehow going to be handed to us on a silver platter some time in a tomorrow that never comes?
2,000 years is a long time. Maybe its time we tried something different. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result each time. Christianity has been doing pretty much the same thing, and nothing has happed for 2,000 years. We are told by Christian so-called leaders to just keep on doing what we have been doing, and maybe some time soon, something different will happen. Time has proven the odds of winning the lottery are much better.
Maybe the Christian leadership has had it all wrong, given their track record. Maybe it is time to test whether Jesus really meant the Kingdom is within us and at hand, but totally dependent on US to make it manifest. God has already done the miracle by putting Heaven within us, and within easy reach. Isn’t THAT enough?
We are not going to clean up the place and see Heaven made manifest unless we phyically eject Satan and all of his minions and systems. This will necessarily involve both non-violent and violent means. Jesus was violent when he evicted the money changers from the Temple. He was leading by example. Maybe we should do the same, and if the world be the Temple, then the bankers and other high-order Satanists must be removed from it in order for it to become sanctified and Heaven on Earth finally made manifest.

or are we all (You and Me) so far lacking for leadership skills not to see mistake and stop it before f-wads in the corporate media tear it to shreads. I will not ever be a member of a tea party who can’t even answer the most basic questions. You want to wander around out on the street not even knowing why your there? If they nullify the constitution all the time, let us do the same. Forget about the constitution and rely only on the articles of confederation in which the states are separete countries united in one nation. All countries have to agree nationwide on things they want to do together (not 2/3 of the states) and there is no powerful federal government. The president would be elected every year and Would be not much more than the speaker of congress.
Only in case of a mutual threat, the united states fight together (in this case against the UNITED STATES).

If the Federal Reserve has stolen our economy, and converted it to Treasury Bonds, which it sells to China, then China has been knowingly receiving stolen property.
Just because China was not the ones who stole all our wealth does not make them entitled to receiving it. Everyone who KNEW what the Federal Reserve was really about and was up to will need to take their licks when we give them the boot. We might not want to see China get stiffed, but at the same time, we didn’t want to see them receiving property they knew was stolen from us either.
It should be enough to tell China that they are welcome to keep what they have already acquired, but that we will no longer be servicing the fraudulent debt so that they can take every penny that is still left. We will rebuild what we have lst from our own labor, and China is so much better off, having been put in the position to take so much of what was ours, that we should all just end the game, let it be and grow prosperous together, and free.

and any other sports event that is paraded in front of them on their idiot box’s.
Meanwhile, they hear this song playing in the background of their mind, and for some
reason, they just can’t seem to get this tune out of their heads…
I hear the Fema train a comin’
It’s rollin’ ’round the bend,
And I ain’t seen the sunshine,
Since, I don’t know when,
I’m stuck in Fema Folsom Prison,
And time keeps draggin’ on,
But that Fema train keeps a-rollin’,
On down to San Antone.
When I was just a baby,
My Mama told me, “Son,
Always be a good boy,
Don’t ever play with guns,”
But I shot a man in Reno,
Just to watch him die,
When I hear that Fema Train whistle blowin’,
I hang my head and cry.
I bet there’s rich fed banker folks eatin’,
In a fancy dining car,
They’re probably drinkin’ coffee,
And smokin’ big cigars,
But I know I had it comin’,
I know I can’t be free,
But those people keep a-movin’,
And that’s what tortures me.
if they freed me from this Fema prison,
If that Fema railroad train was mine,
I bet I’d move out over a little,
Farther down the line,
Far from this Fema Folsom Prison,
That’s where I want to stay,
And I’d let that lonesome whistle,
Blow my Blues away.

The are “enumerated” and guaranteed by it, but only if it is followed and enforced.

That some died since we invaded, does not equate to we killed them.
Since 2003 over 240,000 people have died as a result of car crashes in the US. Does this mean automakers are killing people? Or is it the gov with the regs they put on the makers and drivers? Or the lack of gov enforcing regs?
Who was ‘killing’ who in the oil for food scandal where UN and Canadian firms were getting rich with Saddam as Iraqis strarved and died. Yes died. but with your definition, the UN Saddamm and those firms ‘KILLED’ those people.

A milk-toast moderate is one who believes that, by the brilliance and power of sheer compromise, can avoid the fate of being asked to take four steps forward, and over the edge of a cliff that is only one step away. They believe that it is somehow better to compromise and take only two steps, instead of four, and that it will change the outcome. Two steps forward and over a cliff that is only one step away is no more aceptible than the four steps was, but because you can say it was a compromise, it makes stepping over the cliff seem more acceptible and easier to sell to the gullible marks.
Certain things in life are not negotiable, as compromise would be fatal. You would not crash your fast car straight into a concrete bridge abuttment at 120 miles per hour, just because it was a better compromise than doing it at 240 miles per hour. Why? Because any idiot knows you are just as dead either way, and the act of compromising will not change the outcome.
Either a party is going to swear to uphold, enforce, and defend the constitution, in its entirety, and its original intent, or it isn’t. There is no compromise position that can be had that means a damned thing as far as changing the outcome. Going halfway with our constitution dooms it to failure, and us, as surely as nullifying it altogether.

you would have to be aware of the cliff, and if so, is it high enough to kill you if you fall. So for decades the cliff as been very small, just a little jump. but the next one is a leap and some people are balking at that.

Time to consider adopting the parliamentary system. The constitutional system is a recipe for gridlock. The founding fathers had no idea how big and successful America would become.

The founding fathers believe that small farmer would take care of his needs if left to his work. They didn’t know how a corporation would in slave so many. The government is left to clean up the mess of industrial wast. Poison land, poison people, poison world. I think the tea party are just like the free movement when Clinton was president. Remember the freeman movement in Montana are the Missouri patriot. Then we got a so called christen in office and all the patriots were happy, even after that good christen sign the patriot act. Most people need a government they need a system to feel free an safe. Now boys an girls put your government stamp approve bike helmet on an ride free.

Gibbs should have said “the country HAS BEEN divided”, as that might elicit the question “BY WHOM WAS THE COUNTRY DIVIDED, AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?”
Just saying the country IS divided does not elicit the question, it just states it as an unquestionable fact, worthy of only blank acceptance, on its own terms, without delving into cause and motivation.

Neither of these guys support a new investigation of 9-11, and Tancredo is outright hostile towards it. Used to support the guy until he revealed his true colors. For all his bluster over immigration, one would think he would support a new investigation, but he is 100% pro-Israel, and since Israel was involved, an investigation is the last thing him or they want to see.
No, it isn’t Ron Paul or Tancredo we need, much as I used to think so. It got to be someone else. A nation of 300 million people should be full of good choices. The lack of good choices and abundant bad choices is an illusion that it deliberately created and maintained.

If the republicans are allowed to dominate, the movement will die after being used, as the major parties do with everything/everyone they touch, and then thrown away, having become hopelessly “main stream” and losing the identity it was born with. Republicans are statists. Newt Gingrich et al were given power in the 90’s and managed to do absolutely nothing whatsoever with it, preferring to play the statist game of which they are an integral part.
A ticket of Ron Paul/Andrew Napolitano listed as independents (yet with everyone knowing they are libertarian) would even bring me out to vote. Should they team up, they should avoid the Libertarian Party banner, that party having sold out its principles during the 90’s in an effort to woo more voters.

The original H. Ross Perot Reform party Platform where you add a plank to stop the persecution of Pot Smokers. This is both the GOP and DNC’s greatest nightmare.
With Ron Paul’s true and sustained leadership on advancing a more advanced and sane foreign and economic Policy, I think we could have a real shot at getting in the 35% range. That is all it would take.
Just imagine….If we won, how the corporations would waste billions of campaign dollars on the Democrats and Republicans. that would be quite a victory alone.

Is that Portland Maine or Oregon?
I would have preferred she remain governor. Look more into why she did resign. Her opponents in and out of government were filing lawsuits and launching investigations which froze up Alaskan state government. She decided to end that so Alaska could get on with life and save the state gov millions in lawyer fees. Money better spent elsewhere. These are not reported enough.
Of course one could say she had something to hide, but if guilty these groups would still be after her. At least for the taxpayer paid lawyer fees. Which they can not get since she is not in office. At one level she lost, on another she won.
Contrast this to Gov Gray Davis, who went thru recall and was thrown out of CA office. Or congressman Jefferson from LA, who after being caught red handed with bribe money, stayed in office and even ran for re-election.
Was Gov Palin doing something honorable or weak?

In my opinion the Best NWO Lyrics Ever Written!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please tell me what you think?
Chorus:
No man is born whole there’s a battle in our soul
Between darkness and light and understanding is the goal
Throughout the sands of time we play different roles
But a man is just a man not something to extol
Time to banish the management to famished abandonment
Gotta banish the- management to famished abandonment
It may sound demanding but with our future withstanding
We better find to who it we’ re handing
Imagine fightin’ like dogs out in the street
Families growlin’ clawin’ pawing’ just for pieces of meat
Shortages abound and compound the strains of modified pandemics
Bear witness the golden age in the practice of Eugenics
With Foreign fleets deployed on our soil
De-industrialized nation with 200 dollar oil
Manufactured scarcity
Laws of supply and demand
For profit and control
Populations’ in the their hands
To be bet and waged causing massive discord
Just more Poker chips on The Grand Chess Board
Shut down the Forex and control the currency
Ameros in your pocket devalued with urgency
And its anathema
Labor sent to India and Africa
Textiles made in China
Public confidence under miners
Out for Complete destruction of the middle class
what an endangered species its became so fast
You say debt based economy then freeze up liquidity
Give yourself bailouts and treat us with rigidity?
To suck us dry like water melon rinds
And spit out its seeds with patented designs
And Codex Alimentarius doesn’t even enter our awareness
Or the biometric programs to stop the supposed terrorists
Lip reading algorithms so they’ll always be able to hear us
And microchips implanted because you know they really fear us
Chorus:
You look everywhere and see Tienanmen Square
Interlocking round tables thugs in fancy chairs
Random gun confiscations and you better beware
As the rights you hold dear disappear in thin air
Emergency appropriations passed in the night
Bureaucratic jargon to confuse the public’s right
To understand the truth hidden in plain sight
To underscore the proof we’ve lost the will to fight
Diplomatic pardons to corporate criminals
Television over filled with blatant subliminals
Global GPS taxes your car by the mile
Embrace your servitude service with a smile
Either forced or coerced it’ll only take a while
Whether Huxley’s Brave World or Orwellian style
Martial Law an you can bet who profits
from the never ending warnings and constant bomb threats
The world divided into manageable units
For the ease and efficiency of bureaucratic two bits
Constant surveillance the cameras always runnin’
Don’t believe the vision its already happenin’ in London
Supra-national tribunals trump the supreme court
Politicians lining up to administrate and extort
Their well crafted plans to rule and report
To the palaces of power to never cease or abort
Chorus:
An evolution by stealth and incrementalism
Carbon based taxes to fund our planet’s prison
Witness the escalation without Posse Commitatus
Stir crazy trigger fingers like Oxy-Contin robbers
And the public will only see em as persona non grata
And the taunts will raise tension in their medulla oblongatas
Thats why Fema Camps are busy in linin’ up the coffins
they’ve gone way past too far and we probably can’t stop them
All we’ll have is bread lines and bowls of soup
Deadly times like any post Russian coup
The herding of people confined into urban areas
Done in the name of better taking care of ya
Transnational super highways to transport and carry ya
and keep you within city limits or they might just bury ya
Chemtrails in the sky and forced sterilization
The Loss of sovereignty of every single nation
Super state integration with tectonic tribulation
As the resistance is quelled like Roman populations
Government seizure becomes a typical procedure
Malthusian catastrophes enforced by our leaders
Playing out like a book by H.G.Wellls
Scientific dictatorship bringing us hell
How long will it take well its hard to tell
But listen closely, hear the ringing of the Tolling Bells?
Chorus
For those who have that attribute
Of clear sight like accuvue
I know it can be a hassle to
See the the actual view
And deal with well-meaning individuals who still
think Obama’s gonna stop all the this drama
they’d better be patient
because he’s put Wall Street Bankers
In every occupation
Lobbyists and throwbacks from the Clinton Administration
Expanded wire-tapping, permanent bases in Iraq
No chance of repealing the Patriot Act
Increased bombing in the Afghan border
No prosecutions of any kind of torture
Another corporate welfare supporter
You better be ready for The New World Order
Another day for the CIA to slaughter
So many dead sons and daughters
Poison our food and fluoridate our water
Human life nothing but cannon fodder
Left out in the cold only to be told it’s hotter
Illuminati funding foreign armies
Stalin, Nazis, and kamikazes

If Palin runs in 2012 and wins(God help us) it’s because the NWO are still calling plays from their original playbook. Black man gets the right to vote, then the white woman. Black man allowed into workforce, then the white woman. Black man allowed to serve in armed forces, then the white woman. Black man elected President, then the white woman. I am not being racist or sexist here, I have no problem with either being treated equally, its just a pattern I have noticed. This way both black man and white women get to feel like they are making progress, the rest of us get to feel good obout ourselves for “overcoming our prejudices”, and the same agenda marches on.

Jeeze, if the Tea Party people were really serious, they just might take a look at The Constitution Party. Better yet, the Libertarian Party. I attended a tea party last year to see what it was all about. It was last April. It seemed to be a sensible answer to 8 years of GWB and the coming BS continuation with Obama. That’s all changed, now, I believe. It has been hijacked, if it was even a serious movement in the first place. All I know is that when Glen Beck got involved in it all, I had a feeling it was going to be crap. Glen Beck wouldn’t report a FEMA camp if it was built in his back yard. While I agree sometimes with his analysis of this current crop of crap in the D.C., where was his analysis the previous 8 years? He’s a tool, but he’s an entertaining tool, and I guess some folks take that to mean he is actually an honest tool, because he is telling them what they want to hear, now………….

The latest failure always justifies the next, but it only looks like failure to us. They are really busily accomplishing everything they set out to accomplish, and more. Incompetence and failure is the illusion.

The American people must abandon their two-headed one party political system in order to survive their present Obamanation of a democracy. It is simplistic I know but I suggest they rally around the likes of Congressman Ron Paul and his son Rand. To further this cause they must embrace anyone who these two endorse…do they endorse the Tea Party and Sar Palin? I think not.
Dr. Paul and his son are the hope and future of America. These two represent all that was good and noble in the former United States of America.
There is time remaining. Get out and vote but more importantly then get off your ass and participate in the present.

No, you are wrong. Despite your emotional plea to kill off the two party system, you cannot. Best you start studying your history lessons. If you DO NOT KNOW YOUR HISTORY you will REPEAT YOUR MISTAKES. A third party will NEVER get the traction, in this MSM controlled environment, it needs.
The REALLY REALLY SMART thing to do is to TAKE BACK the Republican Party.
Forget this whining about who subverted who… all that does is put the liberals back in the lead (”A House Divided”- you never heard of the consequences?). TAKE BACK the Republican Party – make the Republican Party the PATRIOT PARTY. Then you will win.
Doubt me? Go ahead… keep losing then. Study your history… and you’ll find the path to the future.

Listen, honey. Go call up Hannity and tell him he’s a great American so he’ll call you a great American, too. Then you’ll be able to live your life knowing you spoke to Hannity and he called you a great American. Don’t forget to breed more soldiers for your government. They’ll be needed to fight America’s future wars for Israel. Hey, if you’re lucky, maybe some of them will die in some god-forsaken hell hole. Then Hannity will call you up on stage at one of his Freedom concerts.
That’s what being a great American is all about.
Okay, sweetheart? All right. Good night, dear.

I think most people don’t get the Tea Party movement. Not all Tea Partyiers are alike. It hasn’t solidified it’s message, that’s why every Jonny-come -lately injects their own ideas into it. Different people are trying to pull it into different directions that suit their interests.
People are angry, and rightly so. Thing have been falling apart for some time. Let me make it clear who is not Tea Party person. It does not include Sarah Pailen, or Rick Perry, though they try to claim it. It is not a RINO, and if I may coin a new term, a DINO, a democrat in name only like Obama, Pelosi, or Lieberman (even though he changed to “independent).
Tea Partyiers had hope for Obama at the start. Had Obama kept his campaign promises, there would be no TP movement. Had he closed Guantanamo, pulled out of Iraq and Afghanistan, started investigations against Bush and his cabinet and military contractors, re-opened investigation into 9-11, allowed banks to fail and go into bankruptcy, didn’t support cap and trade carbon credits, kept the public option for health care, closed military bases around the world, invested in alternative energy, repealed the Patriot Act, enforced laws on the books, secured our borders, liberalized drug laws, decriminalized drug possession, started legislation to Federalize the private banking monopoly of the Federal Reserve and revoked NAFTA, the TP movement would not exist.
People want liberty. People support others rights to make bad decisions, as long as those decisions don’t interfere with their own liberty. People want others to be free, and only want government to stop people from taking advantage of them. People hate favoritism.
Some people in the TPM are ill-informed. But they are angry with the status-quo, and rightfully so. They are NOT just conservative Republicans. They are people like Ron Paul AND Dennis Kucinich. They are people like Deborah Medina AND the late Paul Wellstone and Jim Hightower. Our government is corrupt. Our media has no real public discourse and debate. Media consolidation has decimated a once vibrant, diversified media. The propaganda techniques of Edward Bernays are ubiquitous from government to business. People are angry with the wool constantly being pulled over their eyes. They know they are being poisoned and manipulated, and neither the media, nor the government is doing its job to protect them.
There is a very strong backlash building. If things don’t change, both good and bad will suffer the consequences of ignoring it.
February 6th, 2010 at 1:38 pm
I was fine with “The Ron Paul Revolution.” The Republican’s CAN’T steal that one. They can only swing the MSM propaganda into action against it, and that isn’t working as well as it used to. I already have my Ron Paul for President magnetic signs back on my car.
If someone google’s Ron Paul, they will quickly get informatoin relating to liberty and the Constitution. If they google the Tea Party Movement, they’ll get a bowl of word spaghettti. I say let them steal the tea party idea and feel as if they accomplished something “tricky.” In the end, the joke will be on them. The country is waking up. It only takes 1% of us to stop the criminals in Washington.

Ron Paul supporters should just blow off the republicans and start a new movement. The Patriot Party. Better to offer a good alternative than to be suckered into making compromises that defeat the whole purpose of why they supported Ron Paul. Palin said she liked Paul and then went McCain? They couldn’t be more different. This means that she’s just a career politician and will compromise if it means career success.
Ron Paul supporters need to remember how badly they were treated by the Republican Machine.

I have trained the tea party people extremely well since my days in the Ron Paul tea party movement. Here in Florida we are voting for the neophyte neo-con Marco Rubio to put the kibosh on the entrenched neo-con Charley Christ in the primary.
Then we are going to vote for Kendrick Meek the democrat candidate in the general election. First we try to get a constitutional candidate in the republican race or the best we can get to disrupt the establishment. If we don’t get a great candidate in the for the R seat, we turn over the incumbent R seat to introduce as much chaos in the system as possible. I trained the tea partiers well.
Rubio’s neo-con statement;
“12.02.09 | Rubio Reacts To President’s Afghanistan Speech
Miami, FL – U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio today issued the following statement regarding President Obama’s speech on Afghanistan:
“While his decision is long overdue, I commend President Obama for finally laying out specifics on the way forward in Afghanistan. While I support the President’s call for additional troops, I am concerned it falls short of General McChrystal’s specific request. I am especially alarmed by the President’s insistence on announcing a withdrawal start date.
“Afghanistan is part of the greater global war against violent jihadists. Victory won’t be achieved based on how quickly American troops can leave. A secure America requires us to defeat the jihadists in Afghanistan and prevent this fragile nation from once again becoming a safe haven for al Qaeda. This will require the full commitment and support of the President and Congress.
“As our military and diplomatic teams work to fulfill their mission in Afghanistan, I urge the President to heed his commanding officers’ advice in the coming months and years.””

In 6 years we can get rid of Meek for the best Republican candidate. The House candidates are a lot more fun to play this trick on, their turnover rate is only 2 years.

The “Tea Party” Movement is DEAD….Long live the “Tea Party” Philosophy….
What the “Tea Party” was…. “A political philosophy supporting the rights and power of the people in their struggle against the privileged elite….”
That is also the definition of Populism
The “Tea Party” was, before being compromised by it’s natural enemies, a populist movement on the political right
Forgive me if I TEACH…’
‘Populism’ is a political ideology, the central tenet of which is the conviction that governments ought to concern themselves with providing the conditions for the greatest good for the greatest number. Populists typically are opposed to both oligarchy, or government by the few, and plutocracy, or government by the wealthy.
Organized American populism began with a political party formed in 1891, which was subsequently active in the election of 1892. It arose among farmers exploited by creditors. These agrarian (that is, farm-based) populists opposed deflationary monetary policies that favored creditors, and advocated control of monopolies.
Populists may be found among liberals and conservatives alike. Patrick Buchanan, for example, is a conservative populist, while Jim Hightower is a liberal populist. Generally, conservative populists are more concerned about the size and power of governments, while liberal populists tend to be more concerned about the size and power of big business; but at the base of both perspectives is a strikingly similar concern with large, unresponsive, bureaucratic, and unaccountable institutions. Both would agree with Lord Acton’s celebrated observation: “The danger is not that a particular class is unfit to to govern. Every class is unfit to govern . . . Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
In American mass media, populists of every stripe are routinely subjected to subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) ridicule. This is hardly surprising, given the ownership of the media by an economic elite, which undoubtedly believes its own narrow interests would be at risk in any populist administration.
We must develop a “Litmus Test” for anyone running for Political Office…are they for the People, or are they just another TOOL of the elite….we can only effect change at the local and state level…all is lost on the national level…
We need to find common ground with Populists on the left….

That stupid Canadian cow from Alaska even went as so far as to say we need a Revolution. She is trying to steal all of Ron Pauls movement, and claim it as her own. If I recall Newtered Gangrene is the one who subverted the Reform Party that Perot helped found as well, by stealing the Presidential candidate position through lawsuits and using the corrupt court system.
