I think the public health official meant the strain was examined in a laboratory, and a sample of the virus was cultured for that purpose. This may be overly paranoid? That’s not to say this *couldn’t* be a deliberately created infection, but rather to say this official may have misspoken or been misunderstood.

Alright, while I do agree to some extent that creating a virus and the subsequent mass panic is something we might expect a government to do, the reporting in this article is pretty off.

First, if you knew anything about working in a biological lab, you would know that when they say the strain of the virus that was “cultured” in a lab they meant that they took a little virus and then grew more of it so that they would have enough to study. You can’t just study one single virus, you need a “culture”. It’s like when you are brewing beer for instance, you create a culture of yeast, or even for some breads. Culture does not equal create.

This is starting to be a large problem with sites like this. I am a huge fan of the site, and of the general movement, and of people being able to create their own media to cover things that corporations filter out. But seriously, one needs to put in a little more research and serious academic consideration before you go starting rumors that are completely warantless, at least based upon what you have chosen to base them on.

I dunno but there quite alot of people that keep saying that "It is all part of the federal government's plan. They have made this flu up. Where are the pictures of any casualty. Where are they? YOu know what pictures we have, we have proof that 9/11 was an inside job done by Bush. We have proof of FEMA concentration camps for people that do not agree with them. We have proof that the bankers and the Rothschild family are the ones that caused this big crash. We know that Obama is one of the NWO. He is also an illuminati scum. He is not the people's president, he is the slave of UN and the NWO. There is no such thing as the swine flu. This is Obama's 9/11 cover-up!". I believe that this may have been released by the Mexican government to distract from the recent violence in the country or to dissolve it. I believe this was deliberate. However, this occurance was also inevitable whether by nature or nurture of the virus. This in no way means that I believe that something of this nature should be released on purpose. Human involvement in nature tends to be extremely selfish. I just pray that whoever started it….knows how to end it.

As in life, you need to take this with a grain of salt. If you ask me and this was to be truth, a horrible truth by the way, someone creating a virus for evil purpouses, its would not be to prepare a weapon, it would be for the business of it.

Now, I live in Mexico, and there is no PANIC, whatsoever, no panis in any form as I write this lines. This is a typical overblown strory mixing facts with ALARM, i walk this streets, we are following instructions, we are taking care of steps to help this emergency. But there is no panic, you guys should be more careful of the impact of the stories you write, because they have an impact.

This virus being man made, that one I dont know.
