SXSW ‘09 PODCAST: Alex Jones

Impassioned radio host and documentary filmmaker Alex Jones (see also: his official site) would be easy to dismiss as a crackpot if his angry philosophies—on what he might call our totalitarian world government and regularly corroded civil liberties—weren’t so eloquently dispatched. As even his Wikipedia entry details, Jones has been labeled a conspiracy theorist by the mainstream media, so it will be interesting to hear what the uninitiated will think about him after seeing Darkon filmmakers Luke Meyer’s and Andrew Neel’s new doc feature New World Order, premiering at SXSW:
New World Order is a documentary about conspiracy theorists. The film is a behind the scenes look at the underground anti-globalist movement. This growing movement targets the annual Bilderberg conference, and the 9/11 attacks as focal points in the alleged global conspiracy.
Alex Jones, a celebrity radio host, and underground cult hero, is the main character of the film. The film chronicles Alex (of Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly), and four other conspiracy theorists, on their ceaseless quests to expose the ‘massive global conspiracy’ that they believe threatens the future of humanity.
Riding shotgun with Jones as he drove around Austin in his specially outfitted vehicle—bullhorn speakers mounted up top to better reach the masses—I mostly stayed out of his way, as he didn’t see me so much an interviewer as simply one more uninformed listener who needed to hear his sermon.

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration is increasingly concerned about a populist backlash against banks and Wall Street, worried that anger at financial institutions could also end up being directed at Congress and the White House and could complicate President Obama’s agenda.
He has no problem moving his agenda forward. It will never be about what the people want! We are only complicating his agenda of NWO.
They really have no need to be concerned about backlash: They know the American people are f---ing pus&%$ies, and wouldn’t stand up against them to protect their own rights.

Cashed my accounts out along with my 401-k last week. I have not spent money on nothing but food and gas for the last month. It really was easy to do, matter fact I like having extra money in my pocket now. Keeping it there for a rainy day. (AMMO AND FOOD)

My wife and I buy canned goods that go on our shelves in the garage. My neighbors will all be welcomed when things get real bad. I buy nothing but food and I have cut back on gas, except what I store for my generator.

Hey Joe, we have a neighborhood garden. 20 houses on my street and we all join in with tending to it. It took awhile for all of them to come around. They are awake! One way in and one way out. So, if you don’t belong it’s highly recommended you stay out.

What do you expect to accomplish by not spending? You are only making things worse for the economy. If you can afford to buy things that you want or need, you should. By spending money you help keep things going.

My 401-k had lost 47,000 before I got it cashed out. Now I buy only things I have to have. I no longer participate in supporting the bankers and all their buddies.

My money goes on basics, some remedying for my home utility costs, and finally I spend on 4 hr dvds for recording Jones’ movies to get out to folks! The 2 hr dvds are much cheaper, but getting it out is primary!

Money= Debt!! I’m not spending it because those MF’S are telling me TO spend it! It’s a great lesson to be learned that we dont need these stupid things they told us all to have. All we need is each other, our communities, the good old barter system and some friggin common sense! I’m going back to “school” to learn how to do things that NEED to be done.. like learning how to grown my own food and find herbal remedies (instead of paying these jew doctors to make me sicker). Why should we live as slaves to tohers when we are perfectly capable of taking care of ourselves??!!

Hi Alex,
If you get to read this, thank-you for how you spoke in defense of humanity and building a better world (several times in the last few minutes of this podcast). It is uplifting when you touch on these sentiments, as these spiritually rejuvenating truths are not often so eloquently stated. I remember you speaking similarly on your first audio blog of January 6th. Hope to hear more!
