The Jihadist rebels are unable to reinforce and resupply their fighters storming southern Aleppo at the moment, thanks in large part to the Syrian Arab Air Force’s (SAAF) relentless airstrikes over the Aleppo-Damascus Highway (M-5 Highway).

According to a military source in Latakia, the Syrian Air Force has already conducted over 40 airstrikes over southern Aleppo, targeting a long strip of highway between Saraqib (Idlib Governorate) to Khan Touman.

As a result of these airstrikes, the Jihadist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, Ajnad Al-Sham, and Faylaq Al-Rahman have been unable to make any progress at the Khan Touman front.
