Parents complained to Oxclose Village Primary School in Washington, Tyne and Wear, after their children reportedly came home in tears following the creative writing lesson.
Mrs Young, who has a nine-year-old daughter, devised the task as children observed the anniversary of the 2001 al-Qaeda attacks in which 2,995 people died, it is claimed.
“How can she set young children this kind of essay? Many of them have been left traumatised by her ridiculous lesson,” one parent told a Sunday newspaper.

Ummm…I think this was in the UK. Did anyone read the article? I think that’s why Infowars puts that little tag at the bottom: “Read Entire Article”.
It answers the earlier question, “I wonder how old these kids were.” In the headline, it says “seven year old pupils.” Further down, it says “Parents complained to Oxclose Village Primary School in Washington, Tyne and Wear…” Doesn’t sound American. Sounds British. Add to that the article was in the Telegraph…

They’re 9 years old. Doing this sort of lesson with a high school would be more appropriate. The teacher should have taken into consideration the level of students she’s working with, and delivered a much more appropriate lesson.
If the students in the article were high school students, then yes, I would agree that we’re raising a nation of pansies.

It’s a primary school, so they were somewhere between 6 and 12. At 12, I think that as a parent I would just talk to my kid about it; at 6, I’d talk to the teacher.

I think anyone who is a teacher in our society needs to be punished. Yes, PUNISH ALL TEACHERS. Punish all teachers! Do you hear me? They need to be punished to be a teacher in this society. What is wrong with them? No matter what a teacher does, they get into trouble. Who in their right mind would want to be a teacher to be exposed to that? If they want to commit suicide, I suggest that they join our military which is short-handed as it is. Otherwise they should quit and maybe when no one is looking, they can explain something to some young mind.
Also, what would make the children cry so much? What is wrong with the parents? Have they been teaching their children to be “babies”? Even so, sometimes crying is part of learning. My goodness, there was an emotional moment in a training course. Soon laughter will be outlawed also since there is not much division between crying and laughing.

When the parents are involved you can forget it. We all remember middle school and elementary school? When something went wrong with the way the school is running the parents bitch. The parent is never wrong kinda deal. If the parents are smart enough you can always threaten to sew the school. ONE BIG FUN GAME! I wish I had a teacher that made me think about life outside of the classroom, especially if it was an important event that shaped my young and impressionable mind forever… I wonder with all the reality shows that are out there on t.v. and all the things that children are bieng exposed to at a young age if this is something even media worthy, for real… I feel like kids are gonna be the fabric of our future so sew stars in there hearts not stripes down there backs and let them think for themselves just don’t feed them mis-information, give them a chance to ask questions; as soon as they get a wiff of what this country pettles as truth you’ll get them jumping out of there egg shells for the real answers… Good for you teach, and next time have them write an essay abot what it would be like to be on a train headed for certain death, concentrate on that!!!

wow people are such pussies these days. guess what no matter what you try your child will be exposed to the filth of this world.most will grow to do drugs, steal, strip hooker, pimp etc…point is life will be life. i think it’s harder for adults to deal with the fact that our gov. has been shafting us all along than it is for a child in school to do creative writing. for christ sake they make them read books about anne frank and hitler germany which in my eyes was a lot more tragic than 9/11.

I am a 911 family member. The teacher is to be applauded. We need more people to feel the pain we carry. And then we need them to ask who is responsible? Why the 911 Commission was a farce?
Why were illegal Israelis and possible Mossad agents seen filming the first strike and dancing afterwords?

this is why we raise kids with delusions ,,,any unpleasant thought is a “trauma” please,,,death is a fact of life,,,these same parents drive their kids on busy roads where thousands die each year,,,life is dangerous and sometimes people die,,,sometimes government kills them,,,lets put bubble wrap wround children and hook their minds to a matrix so theyll never see unpleasant things or feel unpleasant sensations,,,this is rediculous,,they are prolly angry because the assignment involved critical thinking,,,something strictly prohibited in the New World Order.

When you read the full article it becomes clear. Firstly, this is the UK the dumbing down factories are very alert to good teachers. They comb their work for excuses to fire or discredit them. The last thing the UK regime want is educated people and good teachers are not “politically correct’.
The same thing has happened in churches. because of the culture of politically correctness many priests steer clear of the teaching of Jesus Christ because many of the points he makes were a challenge to the existing power structure of the time. Throwing money lenders out of the temple and upturning their tables, if done today would be an act of domestic, violent extremism that would cause Jesus to be arrested, jailed and placed on a terrorist list.

I’m one of the most blunt people you’ll ever meet and I tend to “take the ball and run with it” but, I think I would’ve known better than to do that with students. Maybe she should’ve been softer like “if you could say anything to the mom’s and dad’s and children who lost someone on 9-11″ that’d be different. How old were the kid’s? 8th grade old enough but, still….
Poor woman, if I were her I’d quit because the school seems to be run by lower level government and or elite’s. I heard most churches are corrupt. Bates in Louisville is disgusting so when I heard that churches were corrupt, I thought of that one. I know demonic people who intend Bates.
