Tens of thousands of Chinese fight the police in Shishou

It was a dramatic weekend in the relatively small city of Shishou in Hubei province.
Tens of thousands of rioters torched a hotel and overturned police cars, after the authorities allegedly tried to cover up the murder of a 24-year-old man as a suicide.
Witnesses said there was no blood on the scene and Tu’s body was already cold just after it hit the ground. His parents were surprised at the suicide note, since he was allegedly illiterate.
There are plenty of rumours flying around – that two other employees at the hotel had died in the same way, that the boss of the hotel is related to the mayor of Shishou, that the hotel was a centre for the local drug business and Yu was killed for threatening to expose what was going on. There’s also a rumour that three further bodies have been found at the hotel.

very very well said. love is the answer, i agree whole heartedly. it is a frightening prospect to extend the olive branch to a group of people that are obviously intent on murdering most of us one way or another, but it IS the answer, everything else is war hatred and death. that being said, they will take our “turning of the other cheek” as a sign of weakness and use it as an opportunity to pounce. i think, unfortunately, that nothing could be more true. to be prepared to love in the face of hatred is to be prepared to die for the sake of love. i am trying to ready myself for such a thing. i am preparing my soul. too many people talk about murder like it is an eventuality. would you really shoot someone between the eyes? even someone who is enforcing the rule of the elite? isn’t that just what they want? if you are going to fight the cancer, fight it at it’s source not at its symptom. can we quell their fear and anger and make them see the light… to stop trying to control everything… i doubt it, but isn’t that what we must try to do? before we start killing?

The poll showed Ahmadinejad’s disputed victory, which has sparked riots and demonstrations since it was announced, might reflect the will of the people and “is not the product of widespread fraud,” pollsters Ken Ballen and Patrick Doherty said in a column in The Washington Post.
The election protests have marked the sharpest display of discontent in the Islamic republic in years as supporters of opposition candidate Mirhossein Mousavi alleged fraud in Friday’s election.
“While Western news reports from Tehran in the days leading up to the voting portrayed an Iranian public enthusiastic about Ahmadinejad’s principal opponent … our scientific sampling from across all 30 of Iran’s provinces showed Ahmadinejad well ahead,” the pollsters said.
Thirty-four percent of those polled said they would vote for Ahmadinejad while 14 percent preferred Mousavi and 27 percent were undecided.
The poll was conducted by their nonprofit organizations — Terror Free Tomorrow: The Center for Public Opinion and the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation — from May 11 to 20 and funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

But what the people should have done is send half that huge

The videos show a Police Exercise. I’ve lived in China, until end 2008 and when there is mass demonstration the Police shut down all access to the area in conflict. Furthermore, they would not allow any one to shoot video right in their midst. You can see the Police just strolling along amongst the so called rioters. There are only a handful of people throwing objects at the Police in a huddle that out number the throwers by quite a large number, and are in retreat. FAKE!!!

Our system is based on laws, Congress is not protecting the const. Not one state atty is on our side and we all know how all atty’s want to be on the dole, which in turns means exceptance to the good ole boys club with 4 days off a week. American people do not know what’s going on in nowadays’ china. Corruption of goverment officials become more and more serious. You may not understand what corruption means in China, it’s just because of money????? No!!!! Take this case for example, All chinese local goverment officials sell drug in a Hotel of Shishou, hubei province, China. It’s a such big business, run like a well orgnized corporation, however, it had been found by a young man, then he wanted salary of that month and decided to quite the job, but goverment officials didn’t agree. The young man said, ok, if no salary, I’ll go to unfold all your dirty. then he is killed by chinese goverment officails. Furthermore, like they always did before, policy planed to take the body of this killed guy by force, then you guys spotted what descriped in this page …. A Chinese Guy …..
