Terrorism expert downplays shock bracelet for airline passengers

It was recently reported that the Department of Homeland Security has expressed interest in a “safety bracelet” for air travelers that would include personal information and would not only track the wearer but also be capable of remotely delivering a taser-like shock.
Fox’s News’ Megyn Kelly talked with terrorism expert Neil Livingstone, who downplayed the reports. “This is kind of an exaggerated story,” he stated. “I don’t think there’s going to be a shock element on it. That’s going too far.”
However, Livingstone, who has a history of making extreme claims about the threats posed by terrorists, saw nothing wrong with the radio-tracking aspect. “Flying is not a right, it is a privilege,” he stated.
Livingstone also suggested that there might be a growing market for such devices, saying, “We may see, actually, these kinds of devices put on felons in order to get parole”

Infowars is a great site to vent your frustrations and bond with like minded people but I believe if all of you used your energy and writing skills to let your elected officials know how you feel maybe we could change some minds. It just seems to me that all of these great reponces are falling on deaf ears. We are all preaching to the chorus. Lets focus our emotions to where they will do the most good. Maybe we should ask NEIL LIVINGSTONE if his dumb ass would board a commercial fight and wear a shock bracelet on his hand that can incapacitate him whenever and however. Remember the other bracelets they mentioned? the ones they wanted people to wear around their necks? and I’m thinking here if people actually want to jack a commercial aircraft in the first place and in any they need help from someone. Theres no way people can make operations like that successful even by studying the material and pre 9/11. I’m telling you this as a person who flies, and thats another thing if the CFI says hauni hanuir whatever his name is (as i recall hes alive) if the CFI says that guy flew horribly then he flew horribly you cant hide flight skills. Heh for people out there that think these things will stop anything if people want it to truly happen really ask yourself how? maybe they may forget to put it on or the person who puts it on forgets to tie the wires up or whatever. Just doesnt make sense

If they insist on putting these on passengers on flights, there’s one overpowering solution… don’t fly. The system might not respect voting blocks or petitions, but they certainly respect the power of the consumer dollar. If Americans refused to be a part of this, and with the current sorry state of the airline industry, they would would cave pronto. Why people put up with this crap when it can be avoided is beyond me.

Heck, if they could inject something into the body that actually worked like that, it would become a mandatory vaccine for everyone and if they could they wouldn’t tell anyone, just use it discretely, you know, like when the guy holding the button is having a bad hair day.

flying IS your RIGHT, whether that dirtbag says so or not. You have a RIGHT to travel to and fro, wherever you please just so long as they allow citizens from your country into the country. To even CLAIM that it’s a privilege is to claim the RIGHTS are his to give or take away. They only want you to BELIEVE that they have a RIGHT to tell you what you can and cannot do, where you can and cannot go, and what you can and cannot know. Yet they get every penny of their salary from YOUR taxes that you pay for them to SERVE you. They are all PUBLIC SERVENTS, and need to be reminded of this. And again I reiterate to you all that the solution is class action lawsuits against every member of the congress and senate whom has participated in the erosion of the constitution. Imagine Orin Hatch being sued from every angle by different groups of people, in different class action lawsuits for different reasons. All different cases, and different lawyers, and courts. So many that he would have to contemplate the possibility of being forced to spend EVERY PENNY of his entire life’s savings on DEFENDING HIMSELF. First I think Megan Kelly is sexy.

Obviously from a technical point of view the shock part is easy to do but may increase the size of the bracelet for the capacitor and coil required to generate the volts. I am glad to see they have thought better of it.
RFID for luggauge, well obvuously a good idea, what are they waiting for? However treated passengers as items of lugguage to be moved about in the transport system maybe convenient but it’s disrespectful.
As far as I know, people already are wearing tags to track their movements as part of their punishment after a conviction. Doing this to people because they might pose a threat is assuming guilt and using a device to try and prove it.
I actually believe that tagging criminals as a punishment is a good idea. Plenty of people oppose this and would prefer to have them locked up. It’s important who you tag and who you lock up. In many cases people get themselves into trouble by mixing with the wrong people wo set them up. If tagging can diswade them form mixing with the people who get them into trouble then their lives will improve and we can eventually take the tag off and leave them to enjoy a normal life witout having to watch them all them time.
You gotta remember that most criminals are OK most of the time. Tagging can help keep them in the environment where they are OK people and keep them from the places where they do something terrible.
The default position must be to trust people. No one is perfect but almost everyone is OK, no need to watch everyone. Personal invovement and personal trust, smile, speak, acknowlege, respect. Most people are fine, treat everyone as if they are like most people unless you know otherwise.

When I was bad my mother sent me to my room and said I was not to come out until I was a reasonable person again.
I said “ha, I will climb out of the window, you can’t keep me in there against my will”
She said, “well I am not locking the door, I am just saying I don’t want to see you again until you are a reasonable person”.
This was a prison I agreed to. One which I left only once I felt rehabilitated.
Why not ask the passengers to carry the RFID tag rather than wear it?

Oh, its always introduced for our best interest. So in case we fall asleep a caring flight attendant can come tap us on the shoulder to wake us up. Now that explains why they would spend tens of millions of dollars to implement it. Our government loves us. If i have to hear one more thing like this justified because of the false flag terrorism attack of 9/11 I think I will throw up in my mouth.

If people keep flying and putting up with their b***s**t, then the government will just keep doing more personal invasion until they say it is mandatory to have this “CHIP” implanted into our body. I also believe people needs to learn how to live without all those fancy electronic gadgets; I do believe they would all collapse from not knowing which way to turn if the electric grid went down. I believe ALL people, even the elites, should not fly; take the train, that would give the airlines a wake-up call. This ID bracelet is all about money for the manufacturer and it fits right in with what the government wants to do and that is to snoop into our privacy every chance they can get. I wish we, the people, were entitled to know some of the things that goes on within our government, but not high security stuff. Ya know, I wasn’t afraid before 9/11 and I wasn’t afraid after 9/11. Have you noticed we haven’t had any airplanes crashing into any buildings lately; just that one time.

Just buy your own used airplane and take lessons. It’s cheaper than most new cars. Totally bypass private TSA screeners, 1,000s of whom are illegal aliens. You don’t need a pilot license if you fly an Ultralight. No stinkin speed limits, and you bypass 1-million police state death squads, er, traffic cops. US border is undefended, with no deporation of 50-million illegal aliens. Carry copies of Operation Northwoods in each luggage item and in your see-through carry-on baggies, and leave copies throughout the airport and airliner.

The very concept of air passegers having to wear bracelets reminds me of the movie “THE RUNNING MAN”. Not to mention, the machines now being used by the TSA screeners that can see through peoples’ clothing looks like something out of the Sci-Fi film “TOTAL RECALL”!!!
