Terrorist watch list hits 1 million

WASHINGTON — The government’s terrorist watch list has hit 1 million entries, up 32% since 2007.

It’s unclear how many individuals those 33,000 records represent — the center often uses multiple entries, or “identities,” for a person to reflect variances in name spellings or other identifying information. The remaining million entries represent about 400,000 individuals, according to the center.
The new figures were provided by the screening center and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in response to requests from USA TODAY.
“We’re continually trying to improve the quality of the information,” says Timothy Edgar, a civil liberties officer at the intelligence director’s office. “It’s always going to be a work in progress.”

1 million people who have no recourse to get off the list. The news shwed a 5 year old boy on the list. 1 million people who Rahm Emanual will not allow to buy guns? No path to get off the list- seems like they are creating a non existing problem to make sure they can find a solution like a national ID card
1 million people is the number of people in the chinese military- think about that for a minute- A whole countries Army is the same size as the number of people on that list

Ummm…did you actually READ this article? It says, “The new figures were provided by the screening center and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in response to requests from USA TODAY.” The byline reads, “Peter Eisler, USA Today.” Alex Jones’s staff has simply posted this article. It is not written by Alex Jones or anyone on his staff. It is a mainstream media news article. Apparently, you either never read beyond the headlines or you have a reading comprehension disorder of some sort.

UMMM.. YES, Gary, you are correct!! I 1st saw the story on the boob tube (CNN) when I woke up this AM. Most of the articles here are recycled from other news sources. If you go to jeffrense.com you’ll see many of the same ones here etc. This posting board is turning into a bunch of little boys with big mouths.. who I’m sure don’t have the muscle or the brains to back up their MTY opinions that seem to be as recycled as all the other late news. TSA found something questionable in my artist bin/pencil case. They TOOK it along with my lotions/perfumes. So I thought that was the end of it.
However, the TSA agent with my drivers license and ticket in hand began to copy my info onto a form given to her by another agent. I respectfully, said, ‘you confiscated my property’ so why the NEED for a report? No response!
I asked ‘what are you going to do with my info? Agent said, ‘put it in a file.’
I asked what file? NO response!
I asked her superior what’s the report for? He said, ‘its nothing to worry about.’ When I requested a copy of the ‘nothing to worry about report’ he said ‘have a pleasant flight.’
Today msm (talk radio) mentioned that airports will use body scanners, how do you feel about that? I thought what are they going to do to you if they find something questionable?
Surgery! Maybe they can forward a copy of the scan to our doctors if an agent notices a cancerous mass growing. Big brother is no joke! I really feel bad for the children and young adults because they don’t really understand not like those who lived through bs does.
These are perilous times.

Went camping in the VI, so I flew down. TSA found something questionable in my checked bag that had my tent & kitchen [including some food]. The bag was “LOST” in Puerto Rico, behind the security line until the breakfast bars, tuna & coffee were all eaten. The TSA personel were polite enough to put the empty wrappers back in the bag when they released it 3 days later. Oh, and my tent was slashed & my air mattress “missing”. I’m just glad I wasn’t on a hunting trip. Where would my rifle be now?
