Whether it’s a general apathy for all things political, youth just turning a blind-eye to current events, or a reflection of the sad state of public education, it seems that kids these days aren’t too savvy when it comes to presidential candidates, other than Barack Obama.
Hopefully this is an over-generalization, but judging by what transpired when my friends and I tried to post our “Stop Dictator Obama” posters, the extent to which public schools have brainwashed the nation’s youth into worshiping the “commander-in-chief” is startling.
Warning: Video contains strong language.
Prior to the footage being shot, we chose a good location that we thought would be a high traffic area for viewing our flyers, a lit sign indicating the entrance of a Taco Bell.
We waited until there was no one around, just in case any Obama supporters seeing us do it were tempted to tear them down. We saw a couple of kids walking up the street and past us, but we thought, “Eh, what the hell? just a couple of kids.”
We should have waited for them to be out of sight, but we proceeded anyway.
The kids returned to see our work and were aghast at what they saw: their great king defaced! One kid frantically gasps, “These gotta go! Obama [is] the shit,” while his companion says, “Oh wait, tell me you’re not going for Santorum, though…cause if y’all are going for Santorum, it’s over.”
The political “pundit” was likely referring to republican Rick Santorum, who announced on April 10, 2012 that he was ending his campaign to become GOP candidate in the 2012 presidential election. The date of the Taco Bell incident was June 22.
We drove around the parking lot of the restaurant, and when we returned to our posters they were torn down. We questioned the kids on why they tore them down to which they replied “Because we can,” and “Just hating.”
While there’s no way of knowing how old these fellows actually were, from a witnesses’ perspective they couldn’t have been much older than 16. They didn’t even have a basic understanding of upcoming election common knowledge. All they knew was Obama.
This outrageous behavior and blind loyalty seemed to support stories we’ve covered in the past of children being indoctrinated in American schools to worship Obama.
This is no conspiracy; it’s right out in the open.
In 2009, Steve Watson published an article detailing several disturbing stories involving the teachings of an inflated “messianic” status of Obama in public schools. Children were revealing to parents that they were “having to pledge allegiance every day at school to a huge projected image of the new president.”
Parents were distraught at this news and vented publicly on the Tree of Liberty forum.
One post read:
“My son, who is in 1st grade, came home yesterday saying that he didn’t want to go back to school anymore. So I asked him why? He said that during the Pledge of Allegiance the teacher put up a large image of Obama next to the flag. I asked him if he was sure of this and I suggested to him that maybe the teacher just put up an 8×10 photo of the president. He said, “No, it is a large picture of Obama and when we are done Ms. **** turns off the image.” I also asked if they did this for Bush last year? He again said, “No.” This was my sons first day back to school since before Christmas, he was on a 5 week track break.”
In this video one school teacher [out of frame] teaches children to praise Obama with a song.
This next one is “A creepy video of young children in Illinois singing a Maoist-style homage to Obama’s government, chanting “Yes We Can.” A shockingly accurate comparison with the Hitler Youth is made at the end of the clip.”
In another 2009 article, Paul Joseph Watson adequately summed up the dangerous slippery slope we begin down when we start holding presidents up as idols: “The Orwellian nature of what is going on in American schools should at least send a shiver down the spine of all those who are aware of what has happened historically when leaders carefully groom a cult of personality and create a generation of mindless sycophantic followers who are unaware they are pledging allegiance to a dictator.”
The two kids are likely just victims of the Obama Administration’s forced indoctrination campaign, but does that give them the right to trample over my freedom of speech? Does anyone have any suggestions for bypassing this type of idiocy? Comment below.
