The paradox here is that it was the Kremlin’s decision not to support the UN Security Council proposal to impose new sanctions that pushed Washington, Israel, the Persian Gulf, and Europe closer to consensus on a military solution to Iran’s nuclear crisis. By blocking sanctions, Moscow is trying to deprive the international community of any leverage against Tehran.
In the short term, Moscow’s approach is anything but absurd. Sanctions would inevitably precipitate a catastrophe in the form of serious economic problems within Iran and Russia losing its influence in Europe, the Caucasus, and most Persian Gulf Arab states.

To date, the U.S. is the only country that has ACTUALLY dropped an atomic bomb over a civilian population. I don’t see why so many people out there are freaking out over the possibility of Iran acquiring a nuclear bomb or whatever. It’s Washington D.C. that anyone in their right minds should fear, I think.
And by the way, did you know that Bulgaria and Slovakia have enough uranium to build an atomic bomb? Sure, we’re not up to it, but shouldn’t U.S. politicians be concerned? Fewer and fewer things make sense these days…

Bob, russia made a deal with the US. If they back off the missle defense shield in the former soviet blocks then “Russia” will back a war or sanctions on Iran. Russia has ton’s of money and can get oil from other sources such as latin america . The Russians are not to worried about that. They are more interest in making money off of a war if it happens. That’s how they are going to get the oil from Iran, “if it happens”. So Iran is in a catch 22 with Russia. If they cut off oil to russia for supporting sanctions or a invasion, then russia just doesn’t give them weapons. I kinda new this would happen.

They’re worried about long range nuclear tipped missiles. Iran is being sanctioned due to strategic reasons, the US DoD realizes that Iran, Russia, and Venezuela have a strategic alliance against the USA and Europe, Russia did this so that in the case it is attacked by the Illuminati governments, it can successfully wage a world war against its enemies and try to further secure itself. Nearly everything you hear about Russia or Iran on television, is propaganda, Russia is merely defending itself while being surrounded by missile platforms and enemy troops.

Because the US only attacks piss-ant little countries that can’t defend themselves. Except for a few excursions in the wasteland areas in Pakistan, the US has never invaded a nuclear power.

Because the military has it’s hands tied. If the military were allowed to lay down the amount of firepower and destruction it did during WWII there would be no questions about who has the best and strongest military in the world and ‘piss-ant’ countries would thing twice before trying anything stupid.
You cannot win a war when you’re #1 priority is to avoid civilian casualties. May sound cruel but it is true. Peacekeeping is a waste of time and only leads to long drawn out situations like we are in now.

The US didn’t give a rats ass about civilians in Korea and Vietnam and they didn’t win either of those 2. Korea was a stalemate and Vietnam went decisively to the North Vietnamese. No hands tied and they dropped a crap load more ordinance on both those places than Europe in WW2.
Learn some history.
Now we have DU Munitions that as one US General has stated – has rendered WAR OBSOLETE! If you can not clean up your battlefield then you haven’t won. DU munitions have been used in the former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Gaza. I sure hope the bastards who are responsible for the deployment of such weapons are held accountable and tried for crimes against humanity.

Ok, I read the article and maybe I missed it but I didn’t see where they explained the rationale behind Russia wanting a war with Iran. The implication seems to be that they are motivated by the prospect of a short-term spike in oil prices, but that doesn’t really make sense as it would hurt them economically in the long run, AND would probably be viewed as a security risk (I think the Kremlin would feel more comfortable with Iran on it’s doorstep than being effectively surrounded by NATO).

We have oil shale all around the Rockies that would last for years, oil reserves along the cost China is drilling for as close as 50 miles off our land, and oil reserves in Alaska Palin is taxing the shit out of and envrionmentalists from places like the WWF (which a certain Bilderberger prince from the Netherlands founded) pressure our government into dissallowing drilling. I wrote this 911 article for people who haven’t been exposed to 911 truth and who aren’t likely to take the innitiative to research it themselves. I believe we can still reach those people. They are not going to go digging into 911 at this late date, but if they take fifteen minutes to read the article it will leave nagging questions in their mind that will not be easily dismissed.
