The Predictions of Robert Welch

In the video here, Robert Welch, the founder of the John Birch Society, predicts today’s events with uncanny accuracy. He originally made the predictions in 1958 and recounted them here, in 1974.

The JBS originally concentrated on the “international Communist plot,” but by the 1960s Welch concluded that Communism was just a front for a Master Conspiracy. He pinpointed the conspirators in internationalist financial and business families such as the Rothschilds and Rockefellers and exposed the Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Trilateral Commission as organizations doing their work.
Welch understood the “international Communist plot” was not about a revolution in the name of the workers and proletariat but a worldwide socialist or collectivist revolution in the name of a small number of elite bankers. The CFR and the Trilateral Commission propose an end to the sovereignty of the United States and global dictatorship.

“If it were indeed true that the entirety of the danger we face is confined only to a communist conspiracy, which aims at the destruction of freedom through subversion and violence, then, Mr. Welch reasons, many interesting paradoxes are left unanswered,” writes James Thornton. “Why, for instance, are so many of the super-wealthy involved in programs and policies that aid and abet collectivist and socialist objectives? Why do the powerful elite in America and elsewhere, made up of people who seemingly have the most to lose should communism, socialism, or any form of collectivism be victorious, almost invariably oppose efforts to expose the subversion of our society? Why do they so frequently sabotage conservative activities? To these difficult problems Mr. Welch applied his first-rate research skills and, after much labor, reached some startling conclusions.”

You are so right. But tragically, in Mr. Welch’s day, especially in the ’50s, he was unjustly and viciously attacked, ridiculed, impugned unmercifully by many goon squads, especially the MSM.
But he maintained his composure and weathered these unjust attacks, despite the fact that the JBS was almost driven underground.
Robert Welch will always be a true American patriot and hero, and his warnings still resonate throughout what is left of our country and its people.

Yes, I know what you mean. My mother was one of the original JBS members. The mudslinging was unrelenting, and the JBS was synonymous with Senator Joseph McCarthy (who I don’t think was bad, by the way, but many people did thanks to the media.)
They’re still around, and deserve to be recognized for their work. They can really lead people, especially now, as many more are waking up.

Amen to that. I realized with my husband a while ago about the fallacy of the rapture. The bible says nothing to the effect. How so many poor people are duped by these false prophets. When Adam and Eve sinned they gave over the “kingdoms” of the world to the devil.

Curiously, I’m actually writing a book on Robert Welch and the Birchers. It’s not really anti or pro, just documents their formation. But can someone tell me where Eustace Mullins said that Rockefeller had Welch set up the Birch society? I don’t buy it, but I’d like to read more.
Also, Welch’s letter (and eventually book) on Eisenhower was pretty nutty. He sent a copy to Barry Goldwater who wrote him back and said, “you should burn every copy you have of this so you don’t look as crazy as you sound here” or something to that effect. Welch was a very smart guy, but sometimes paranoia spoke over intellect.

It is amazing on how accurate this mans words ring so true today. We are at the beginning of the last few chapters in our country’s great big story of freedom and liberty. No government in the Earths history can truely rule humankind. The King of Kings will oneday soon rule perfect for all eternity, that you can count on. It pains me to see the road our country is going down and I feel it may be a road of no return. I only hope that I can survive without suffering or death until Im old and gray. Even a revolution of epic proportions would be futile at this point, because other nations would come aid the US Gov to keep us under their thumbs. Good luck brothers & sisters!

I’m actually a member of the JBS. Joined a few years ago after I learned briefly about their core beliefs and past efforts against Communism. But then I read some articles that claimed the JBS was actually infiltrated by Illuminist and Freemason conspirators back in 1963 and is actually a branch of the LDS church. I don’t know what to make of all that. I figure it’s the same types of people that say Alex is a Jesuit and provacateur agent for the Vatican. I don’t get why these guys emphasize religion so much. I know it’s part of the one-world government/one-world religion plot, but why do the guys who seem to get closest to exposing and confronting the truth seem to get attacked based on religious ties?

You need to be spiritual as well as scientific. You can chose your brand of religion or just make up your own. BUT you need to be spiritual to have a more complete understanding. Otherwise you might end up thinking everything is deterministic and that one thing always leads to the next thing in an entirely predictaable way if only you knew all the facts.
Clearly in a deterministic world we have no place. We need to understand that we do make the world how we want it. So lets keep the pressure on.

Hey, that is also how it was in the 70’s when I was growing up! The media used to smear their name, but never explain why. And if you tried to intelligently discuss freedom, then inevitably some loudmouth would try to neutralize you by saying in an accusatory tone, “Are YOU… a MEMBER… of the,,, JOHN BIRCH SOCIETY?” It was unreal. I didn’t even find out who they were until I discovered a paperback called NONE DARE CALL IT CONSPIRACY in a thrift shop around 1980. That little book holds a wealth of research!

I am skeptical that tying the US dollar to a fixed amount of gold is good idea, there has to be better way to get rid of bankster manipulation.

The other thing to note about Welch is that he was major supporter Senator Joe McCarthy.
The only excuse for that would be that the NWO communist-front was actually (perceived as) a serious threat.
It is kind of hard to believe the domestic communism was serious threat now, but I guess it is possible and given what we now know about NWO, the idea has to be taken more seriously.

The gold standard was fraught with problems, among them chronic recession and high unemployment (see the Great Depression of 1873-96). Indeed, the Democrats in the 1896 election would have abolished the gold standard. They were narrowly defeated due to a few factors that improved the economy and therefore subsided opposition to gold. One of them being the discovery of more gold. However, the problem is the monetary system itself – it is based on corruption. No variant of the monetary system can escape it.

– These issues are always complicated by the Hegelian dialectic. Reduction of nuclear arms is a good goal, but it could also be used to create a strategic imbalance against us. I think Kennedy had it right with detente and gradual de-escalation. Same thing today. It would be great to work with Russia to reduce arms – how about Israel, China, N. Korea? Basically, the world is too complicated for this simplistic viewpoint.

– On the issue of gold, you’ll find the answers with Webster Tarpley – a Hamiltonian banking system for the creation of industrial credit. The government should lend, not spend to build physical infrastructure and make scientific progress (and to hell with the stock market and investment banking). This will maintain liquidity and low interest rates the same way as the Fed, but the government won’t be paying interest. This is the whole trick – not fiat, but compounded interest is the problem. As Lincoln said, government has the power to make debt the servant and not master of humanity. The American Monetary Institute and NORM have a ton of good research on how to monetize debt through various raw materials and farm produce.

There is a good case for a loan. Say you drove an old car that cost a lot in fuel. A new car costs a lump of money you don’t have because you spend it all on fuel. A loan to get the car would provide a finacial benefit that pays off the loan and a practical benefit in that you have more reliable car journeys.
For everyone to prosper, what you buy should always be worth more than it’s cost but the seller should be making a nice proffit too. After all they made something more valuable than the cost of production. Their suppliers did the same and so on.
The system goes wrong when the losses in the system get to hight. For example when the people lending the money are taking too much or when the government taxes too much. Or when the product or service being supplied is not worth what people are paying.
You would think people would know, but when it comes to taxes you don’t have a choice.

I just read the JFK book “Legacy of Secrecy” – incomplete as conspiracy theory goes (basically focuses on the Mafia aspects), but it does provide a lot of documentation about the JBS’s connections to the assassination. This may have been sheep-dipping of CIA assets into the JBS, but there’s some pretty interesting interplay between the CIA, mafia, JBS, and Barry Goldwater.
My guess is that it is/was an infiltrated organization used to turn legitimate dissident into ineffective politics and as a breeding ground for dupes and patsies. One can only assume the same is being attempted with the “tea parties” and Campaign for Liberty.

Curiously, I’m actually writing a book on Robert Welch and the Birchers. It’s not really anti or pro, just documents their formation. But can someone tell me where Eustace Mullins said that Rockefeller had Welch set up the Birch society? I don’t buy it, but I’d like to read more.
Also, Welch’s letter (and eventually book) on Eisenhower was pretty nutty. He sent a copy to Barry Goldwater who wrote him back and said, “you should burn every copy you have of this so you don’t look as crazy as you sound here” or something to that effect. Welch was a very smart guy, but sometimes paranoia spoke over intellect.

Just to comment on your post, he killed millions of Nazi’s in our country through the use of concentration camps, and the camps in Europe made the ones in the USA look like tea parties. He was a bad man. The Nazis were being starved by the Jews and WW2 was not fought over what we have been taught in schools. The Jews, who ran the media and importation in Germany got together and demanded a country for themselves through agreement with the USA and bled Germany for what it was worth. Most of Germany got its food elsewhere and once it was cut off by the Jews, they were toast. We think we know what hard times are. They were starving to death, hence the rise of a man to rid of the Jewish race. The JEws in Germany made backdoor deals with the USA and ultimately England who was in control of modern day Israel that if they allowed for Germany to lose the war, then they would get Israel. Mind you the richest people in Germany prior and during WW2 were Jews. Eisenhower, after they won, took Nazi soldiers to the USA and killed them. Soldiers that were good people who were forced to serve. Soldiers who were my age, 22 years young and younger.

My ex-Wife’s grandfather, a German immigrant, had a nursery and landscaping business. He planted half of the trees in suburban Chicago. During WW2, his farm/nursury was a POW camp filled with Nazi officers. They were treated with respect and ate as well as any American of the day. They did work his business with him (in the fields of trees and shrubs). To my knowledge they were fine when they left his care. Are you saying they were taken and killed after the war?

The story goes like this…
The POWs captured during the war and brought to the U.S. were treated excellently. There are even cases of them escaping, being caught, and returned to their camps without being shot, or punished in any way.
However, the Germans captured right at the end of the war, after the Nazi “work/death camps” had been discovered, and held in Germany, fared much poorer. There is a book called “Other Loses” which purports that Eisenhower, who was part Jewish, was so enraged after discovering the camps, and being fed what has since been proven as untrue propaganda about tattoo collections, lamp shades and soap, that he literally allowed hundreds of thousands of German soldiers who surrendered according to the rules of war, to die by starvation, exposure or disease while they were held in massive camps under Allied supervision.
Is it true? I don’t know, but since NOTHING else I was told about World War Two has ever turned out to be the entire truth, it very well could be.

What welsh said is right on the money. One thing that jumped out at me was when he said 140 years after this country was made—-so, thats when the shift musta happened. When “we the people” became the herd, and the elites became the people. And for that long of a time is what brought us to the here and now. 51 years ago is a long time fool. 1958 was the year he first said it and then 1974. There have always been a small remnant of people from generation to generation that have insight of the truth. I believe that comes from God. Bible says “Ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7). Yes it sure is the secret societies that got JFK killed and all linked to the vatican. All the religions were stemed from there and all made to get the different groups to fight one another just like what we have today. I also heard that from a man who worked with the US government but wouldn’t come out with it all. AJ knows a lot but cannot talk because his life would be in a lot more danger than what he is telling us now. AJ made fun of Bill Cooper but Bill Cooper had information that was highly classified that he let out to the public and that the government wants to use the UFO’s to scare the people into giving up their freedoms. There is so much out there that AJ knows but cannot reveal it to us. The Jesuits are behind it all as well. The Rothschilds are the banksters of the vatican.

I think Mr. Welch is right but now we have been overrun by differing viewpoints such as 50% of the population of Mexico is now here in the US. Even the communist Jews who control our government are trying to figure that one out. Hence all the Spanish speaking TV stations such as Telemundo (the Jewish Communists just figured out how to make more money). Because the illegals won’t tolerate another corrupt government and are well aware of whats up. Everything is really jacked up right now. 1974 vs 2009 are totally different times. I remember hearing the name Robert Welch now that I can think way way back when he was known. That name sure does ring a bell to me. I didn’t know what he belonged to but just heard of his name being mentioned in the past. When I heard him speak here I agreed with everything he said. I am an oldie – a woman of 58 and trying to get the old brain to work is work in itself. Yes that name sure does ring a bell for sure.
