The tenuous, gossamer link of distant association described by Dark Helmet works as a piece of throw-away satirical comedy. Under the doctrine of collective guilt being promoted by our would-be cultural commissars, that relationship would also be sufficient to serve as a “ink” connecting Lone Star to the crimes committed by Dark Helmet.

Lest it be thought that I’m exaggerating, consider Keith Olbermann’s effort to connect Ron Paul — a man devoted to peace and protecting the individual rights of everybody, a man who seems biologically incapable of malice — to James von Brunn, the troubled 88-year-old man accused of carrying out the murderous shooting rampage at the Holocaust Museum.
Olbermann, who looks like one of Eugene Levy’s SCTV caricatures and (to my disappointment) appears to have the soul of an East German prosecutor, grimly informed his viewing audience that “von Brunn switched his website domain on May 1 to a man who shares a phone number with a woman who was listed as the Michigan coordinator for former presidential candidate Ron Paul.”
What does that make the actual relationship between von Brunn and Dr. Paul?
As Dark Helmet would say: Absolutely nothing.
But this is a “link,” or at least can be forged into one by people whose reserves of silliness and dishonesty are adequate to that task, and Olbermann — who, like most pathologically self-important asses, has an apparently bottomless supply of silliness — easily qualifies.
A theory of collective guilt easily as silly as Olbermann’s dribbled down the chin — or at least oozed from the fingertips — of David Neiwert, a former professional associate of the degenerate fraud and racial ambulance chaser Morris Dees.
Niewert is author of the recent book The Eliminationists: How Hate Talk Radicalized the American Right. For the most part a porridge of self-contradictory partisan talking points, Neiwert’s book does offer the occasional useful disclosure.
For example, Neiwert points out (pg. 126) that during its revival in the early decades of the 20th century, the Ku Klux Klan acted as “an auxiliary police outfit” to enforce laws against bootlegging — which is to say that the Klan acted as government sub-contractors in carrying out the deranged policy of Prohibition. There’s a potent seed of an important realization here regarding the role of the state in cultivating hate groups. Regrettably, that seed requires fertile soil in which to flourish, and where such uncomfortable thoughts are concerned, Neiwert’s mind is barren and rocky ground.
Similarly, Neiwert provides a well-researched and detailed chapter on “Eliminationism in America” (no, it’s not devoted to matters of digestive tract health) which deals with the long and tragic history of the State’s war against the Indians, as well as other forms of State-enforced racial discrimination.
In that survey the author takes due notice of the depredations carried out against the Plains Indians by Union “war heroes” like Phil Sheridan and William Sherman. He then he spends the rest of the book excoriating “neo-Confederates.” That category presumably includes anyone who recalls with horror the eliminationist campaigns against the Shenandoah Valley and civilian populations in Georgia as a prelude to the crimes committed against the Indians.

| David Neiwert | |
One of the most useful passages in Neiwert’s book (see pages 97-98) is a critical treatment of the embittered, authoritarian nationalism that passes for contemporary conservatism.
What is “conservative,” asks Neiwert, about permitting “torture, rape, and the killing of civilians under the guise of interrogating prisoners in the nation we now occupy as a result of the Bush Doctrine?… Is it conservative to issue hundreds of `signing statements’ that place the president outside congressional purview and above the law? To blatantly flout federal surveillance laws nad proceed with the wiretapping of thousands of American citizens?” Is “conservatism” defined entirely by support for aggressive war abroad and presidential dictatorship abroad?
Movement conservatism, Neiwert concludes, “has come to resemble nothing genuinely conservative at all but rather something starkly radical: profligate spending and economic recklessness; incautious and expansionary wars, pursued unilaterally; exaltation of religious fervor and assaults on science; and the undermining of the civil rights of minorities.”
Although this is an incomplete and flawed summation, it’s a good place to begin in discussing the dangers of contemporary conservatism, as opposed to the genuine article.
That being the case, why does Neiwert go out of his way to implicate Ron Paul, who — but Neiwert’s analysis — would appear to be the only genuine conservative of any stature within the GOP?
In his book Neiwert accused Dr. Paul of helping to “mainstream” the ideas of the “Radical Right” — the same ideas, he insists on the same page (136, for those who are interested), that propelled “the rampages of Eric Rudolph, Buford Furrow, and … Jim David Adkisson.” This is because Ron Paul’s presidential campaign promoted what Neiwert dismisses as “classical Patriot monetary and taxation theories” — that is, an understanding of the need for hard money (gold and silver) and of the destructive influence of the Federal Reserve on our economic and social health as a country.
(Neiwert carefully avoided mentioning Dr. Paul’s emphatic and courageous stand against the Iraq War and the demented policy of “pre-emption,” including nuclear aggression against “rogue” countries. He likewise omitted mention of Dr. Paul’s eagerness to work with congressional Democrats — such as Dennis Kucinich and Barney Frank — on issues of common interest where this was compatible with his principles. Oversights of this sort attest to an abundance of bad faith on Neiwert’s part.)

“Von Brunn … was an adherent of the white-supremacist/far-right movement called Posse Comitatus, and was acting on those beliefs. More to the point, this is precisely the same belief system that today fuels the cottage industry in conspiracy theories — promulgated by the likes of Ron Paul and Alex Jones — that the Fed is part of a massive conspiracy of `international [read: Jewish] bankers’ to enslave Americans and destroy the country. It’s been around quite awhile, but lately it’s been gaining the patina of being regurgitated for mainstream consumption on right-wing media. ”
Leaving aside the unappetizing mental image of a “patina” that is acquired through regurgitation, Neiwert’s argument — if that word can be tortured into applying here — is a crude and dishonest syllogism: The anti-Semite James von Brunn opposed the Federal Reserve; Ron Paul and many others oppose the Federal Reserve; therefore, opponents of the Federal Reserve are anti-Semites.
Thus, any time you hear someone unbosom himself of sentiments like the following, you can know that you’re in the presence of a certifiable Right-Wing nutbar, a “one Wolf” terrorist just waiting the trigger word to go on an anti-Semitic murder jag:
“From time immemorial, inflation is how governments have wiggled out of repaying what they owe. Back in the days when all money was copper, silver, or gold, its purchasing power was lessened by minting coins with less precious metal in them. Next came printing more dollar bills. Nowadays debasing the currency is accomplished by a few computer keystrokes…. From 2005 to 2006 the dollar in your purse lost 4 percent of its purchasing power. So unless you got a 4 percent raise to compensate, you are working for less than you were a year ago. A four percent rate may not sound like much, but thanks to the `miracle of compound interest,’ it can postpone your retirement or keep you on the job till you drop dead…. When you see your money evaporating in front of your eyes, don’t call the weather bureau. Call the politicians.”
The same demagogue — a mock-populist most likely animated by para-fascist sentiments, one supposes — offered a denunciation of the Federal Reserve that James von Brunn would have endorsed:
“The last time a professor of economics was installed as chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, in 1970, the country went to hell. The nation drowned in an inflationary decade that washed away jobs, businesses, life savings and the futures of millions. Arthur Burns, the Columbia University professor President Richard Nixon appointed, entered office with credentials more impressive than [Benjamin] Bernanke’s and left having swamped the country with cheap money, rising prices and turmoil.”
You just know the guy who wrote those words is smart enough to know that his dog-whistle rhetoric will be understood and acted on by extremists across the country. Surely, Mr. Neiwert will indict this fellow for his role in cultivating the “climate” from which hate crimes and acts of “Right-Wing” terrorism precipitate like a rainshower from a low-pressure system?
Well, maybe not: The author of those perceptive critiques of the Federal Reserve’s malign influence is the wonderfully acerbic Nicholas von Hoffman of The Nation magazine, who in his relative youth was a “social organizer” in the employ of Saul Alinsky.
Try as I might, I can’t find a single instance in which Neiwert or others of his ilk have used their Dark Helmet-like gift for charting distant associations to implicate Nicholas von Hoffman or other left-leaning critics of the Federal Reserve as ideological accomplices to “Right-Wing” terrorists and “hate criminals.”
I suspect that this is because people of Neiwert’s persuasion, like (as I’ve pointed out) an increasing number of people on the nominal Right, define their politics entirely by Lenin’s kto/kogo formula: What matters isn’t who’s right or wrong, or what’s true or false, but who does what to whom.
For all their supposed enlightenment, the left’s “anti-hate” crusaders are just as tribal and intolerant as the racial collectivists upon whom they rely for their regular fix of high-yield indignation. There’s a kind of co-dependence at work here between these contending versions of collectvism, as well as a potentially murderous competition for the power to isolate, disenfranchise, and — if deemed necessary — annihilate the other faction.

Let there be no misunderstanding here. There’s no secret about the purposes to which neo-Nazis and their associates would put the power of the State were they to seize control.
But the outcome wouldn’t be that much different if the Left were put in the same position of unchallenged dominance. The capacity for mass extermination of political enemies is inscribed in the ideological DNA of the activist Left.
In 1791, years before the regime he served took his head, French revolutionary leader Georges Danton described the Revolution’s agents as “exterminating angels.”
Even though the revolutionary assembly in 1791 grandly declared the whole of humanity to be one political family (surely, the apex of Kumbahyah, “We Are The World”-style liberalism), four years later it was involved in a campaign of wholesale slaughter against the refractory peasants and priests of the Vendee” for the supposed crime of seeking to worship God rather than the regime, and refusing to permit the State to conscript their young to kill fellow Catholics abroad.
This resistance prompted the monstrous Bertrand Barrere in August 1793 to call for “measures to exterminate this rebel race.”
That word, once again, was “race.” Yes, the Jacobin-led Revolution, which gave us the Fascist/Nazi salute, also pioneered race-based mass murder.
By 1795 the slaughter carried out by the broad-minded progressives in Paris had become so intense that Gracchus Babeuf (who, ironically enough, was a proto-Communist in his outlook and tactics) accused the government of “turning the scythe of death” against the Vendeans, in the pursuit of “populicidal” objectives.

We know enough from post-1789 history to assume that egalitarian objectives wedded to total power lead ineluctably to mass murder.
By making that observation, am I seeking to implicate the likes of Keith Olberman and David Neiwert in the crimes of totalitarian-minded leftists? Of course not. I am, however, trying to disabuse them of the notion that the potential for political violence is somehow exclusive to the “Right,” as they perceive and define it.
I’m also urging them to understand the lethal potential of the politics of collective guilt before the learn — as people like Danton and Robespierre did long ago — that nobody can really control that monster once it’s been unleashed.

Commentator Bonnie Erbe, a shrill collectivist shrike, has yet to endorse the slaughter of counter-revolutionaries by the millions. She’ll get there eventually, however, if she follows the lethal logic of her call for preventive imprisonment of “hate criminals.”
Referring to the murders of abortionist (not “doctor”) George Tiller, security guard Stephen Johns, and military recruiter William Long, Erbe decrees: “It’s not enough to prosecute these murders as murders. They are hate-motivated crimes and each of these men [meaning the alleged perpetrators] had been under some sort of police surveillance prior to their actions. Isn’t it time we started rounding up promoters of hate before they kill?”

Sorry this is offtopic but i’m trying to get the word out about something. i wanted to let you guys know about a strategy i have developed to wake people up that is having great success. As i’m sure you all know the biggest problem we have is that as soon as people hear or think the words “conspiracy theory” they don’t want to hear it after that. So my strategy does not involve any conspiracy theory at all.
People need to be eased into it gently so they can at least accept the fact that it might be possible that their own government killed 3000 innocent Americans. So what is my strategy?
It’s simply to ask them to watch the documentary “911 Press For Truth” and google “Operation Northwoods”. I’m sure you’ve all seen 911 press for truth, which covers the story of the victims families and how they had to fight to even get 911 investigated in the first place and then how the 911 commission simply failed to do it’s job. It also features testimony from Condoleezza Rice, which is just amazing to watch. Operation Northwoods speaks for itself.
If you just ask people to take the time to do those 2 things, everyone i have asked so far has at least come around to the idea that it is possible that 911 was an inside job and then hopefully they are willing to look more closely at the so called “conspiracy theories” for more information on how they did it. I urge you all to try this for yourselves.

It’s not a matter of perspective wether he was making a citizen’s arrest or kidnapping. If he said “I am placing you under arrest”, and especially if he was making a criminal charge, then it was citizen’s arrest. However, unless he was a police officer, he could not use force to execute that arrest.
Instead, he would have had to prosecute “evading arrest” in the courts.

Yes, good video. Government needs bogeymen. In the Joseph McCarthy days, it was Communists that were vilified and demonized and supposedly hiding around every corner. In the Nixon and Reagan years, it was the Drug Culture, (which had turned counter-culture and so made such an inviting target). Then it became the moral panic, with an around-the-clock 24/7 media frenzy, NWO-driven hysteria, against pedophiles, with utterly bogus statistics and inflated and exaggerated numbers and supposed ill effects upon society. Even Alex Jones got suckered in by that one and has yet to escape that demagoguery, as he still feeds into it. That ultra-successful moral panic, controlled media-hysteria campaign then pioneered the paradigm for the around-the-clock terrorism hysteria, which, thankfully, Alex Jones is able to see through. So who can predict the next bogeyman-of-the-future?

I have found that a good course to take is to ask people what they think about the extraordinary breakdown in our national secruity apparatus on that infamous day.
Then I calmly explain how unbelievable it is that this same breakdown occured 4
times in one day in different areas of the country. I then ask them why they think this happened. 9 times out of ten they respond with that tired line of propaganda heard thousands of times in the media and from our “leaders” mouths

Thats when you hit them with sourced material proving that “they” did think it could happen, because the pentagon, norad, and the faa were conducting drills that morning envisioning the same kind of attack on the same targets. In your street actions[ that is if you are conducting them] be sure to have copies of the sourced materials, preferably from mainstream outlets
Gauge their response, if they seem interested ask them if they know that these breakdowns in
secruity were never truly investigated by or government and that no one was held responsible
for this horrible derelection of duty. This has worked wonderfully for me, people seem to respond better to the government irresponsibilty track. I then tell them where our truth group meets and invite them to attend a meeting. Our group started as five freinds who were of like mind and has now evolved into 36 members. I find that having sourced materials on hand to distribute, and a calm demeanor and approach are great tools in the fight. Please drop the bullhorns people it makes you look insane and is quite uncomfortable for the listener.

Many Churches are not teaching true doctrine & many people my read the Bible but, don’t follow the words in it. I believe. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. One of the few things I found contentious was that bit about the left being ‘pioneers of race based murder’. Races of people have always competed for various resources and the laziest reason to hate someone, as well as the least intelligent, is because they look different than you. It’s far older than the 18th Century, and is a human trait, not left or right. If anything it should be placed in the lap of Organized Religion – ask an Israeli why he ‘has the right’ to displace and murder Palestinians. Other than that, I find it to be fairly level.
Olbermann seemed too good to be true during the Bush years and now I see why he was ‘allowed to keep his job.’ He came up at a time when Dubya was already being railed against by practically everyone, there was no ‘risk’ in putting up such a person in such a position, not when anyone would have guessed the outcome of the 2008 election to be Democrat, regardless of the candidate. He had time to garner a following as a ‘teller of truths’ just in time to use his ‘credibility’ to spread the new Gubbamint gospel. He’s the left version of Glenn Beck, is all. All of the people who were anti-gov six months ago are now ‘how dare you question our President?’ How dare you not, regardless of whether his shit apparently doesn’t stink or what color(s) he is. All of the people who were ’support our President’ during the Bush years are all of a sudden at Tea Parties. Social programming/doublethink at work.
I would think that anyone who comes to a site such as this to be a little more open minded than vying for the ‘left’ (’reforms’ that do nothing and taxation) and the ‘right’ (big gov and police state expansion). I find it ironic that some people on this site bash others who are searching for the truth. Personally, i believe anyone who doesn’t believe in god is lacking in intelligence. This is not my attempt at an insult, its a conclusion that is inevitable. Bashing christians isn’t going to make them go away any more than people calling truthers lunatics will make them go away. There is a shallow element to a philosophy that claims we are arrived on planet earth by chance, much the notion that 9/11 was planned and delivered by muslim terrorists.

Since ancient Babylon, the tongues (languages) of the nations have been babbling. The pure language, HEBREW, was undisturbed because Shem and his clan settled apart from his brother’s clans, the Babylonians. The babbling nations of today have in excess of 2,600 languages. They will be purged of their blasphemous terms, and one day call upon the Name of YHWH. Zep. 3:8,9: “I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms, and to pour out my wrath on them – all my fierce anger. The whole world will be consumed by the fire of my jealous anger. Then I will purge the speech of the peoples, that all of them may call upon the Name of YHWH, and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.” See? He knew the “wrong” wouldn’t be using His Name.
STRONGHOLD EXAMPLE: The word “ISRAEL” refers to only “Jews” Not true. The word “Jew” is less than 500 years old, and refers to any descendant of one tribe/family, YAHUDAH. The first time the word “Yahudim” (Jews) is used in Scripture involved a war between the house of Israel and the house of Yahudah (2ki. 16:6). To mislead us, the enemy of our beings (the dragon, hashatan) has set before the nations his prophet (an office of authority), which has been established to oppose the “saints” (the elect, or the children of Israel – all 12 tribes). The term “Israel” has been misapplied to “Christians”, a Gentile religious movement that developed without the Torah, but embraced the Messiah.
Through centuries of false teaching, the nations have been lulled into thinking the original Covenant with Israel has ended, and that Yahuah has given up on the original 12 tribes. This “replacement theology” holds people in the belief that “Christianity” (specifically Catholicism’s brand) has now become “Israel”, that the “Jews” are synonymous with the old Israel, and that the new Israel (Christians) do not have to live according to the “Old Covenant” (Torah), the Ten Commandments. They say that Yahusha the Messiah has set them “free” from the “law”. In these things, they misunderstand, and mislead the millions of living descendants of the tribes of Israel. The Messiah spoke of the coming deceptions:
Mar. 13:22: “For false messiahs and false prophets shall rise and show signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.”
The “elect” or “chosen ones” are the descendants of the tribes of the man Ya’aqob, re-named “Israel”, which means “ruler with El”. Those chosen to inherit the Covenant were eventually to become an uncountable number, and to become a “company of nations” (Gen. 35:11, 48:16), even to the “ends of the Earth” (Dt. 33:17, Ps. 98:3, Is. 41:9, 43:6, 49:6). The Covenant stands forever.
Yahuah’s Covenant with Israel will never end (Jer. 31:36,37). He took Israel to be His wife at Sinai. He clearly said that Israel would live in the land, but only on the condition that she kept His Covenant. While not in fellowship with Yahuah through that Covenant, Israel would be scattered, until they turned back to it while among the nations in the latter days. This is confirmed by all the prophets.
Yahuah says we will obey in the latter days, while among the Gentiles. At Dt. 4, He reminds us of His Covenant once again (and repeats the Covenant at Dt. 5); and He tells us that we will again remember the Words of the Torah* in the last days:
Deu. 4:30: “In your distress, when all these words shall come upon you in the latter days, then you shall return to Yahuah your Elohim and shall obey His voice.”
*TORAH: HEBREW FOR “INSTRUCTION”, OFTEN USED TO REFER SPECIFICALLY TO THE COVENANT, OR BRITH. WE OBEY TORAH SINCE IT “DEFINES” SIN FOR US (SEE 1 JOHN 3:4). IF WE DO NOT OBEY TORAH, WE ARE BREAKERS OF THE COVENANT. WITHOUT TORAH, IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT A SIN IS. IT IS OUR ALARM SYSTEM, SO WE MUST BE GUIDED BY IT.
Do we nullify the Torah through the belief? Let it not be! On the contrary, we establish the Torah. Rom. 3:31 and 7:12.

One can believe in a creator and still not attach themselves to a ‘god’ of the books; no matter whether the books promote the Jewish, Muslim or Christian beliefs.
This is one of the typical errors that those that believe in words in books fall in to; that if one does not believe in the ‘books’ then one must be an atheist or of the spawn of the evil-one.
Many believers hold fast to the concept of a “creation” in a garden of eden where a man and a woman were created. OK, but were these two humans Asians ? Were they Latin or Afrikaan….Arabic perhaps or Caucasian ?
Supposedly, all races and their genetics derived from these 2 humans; known in a bible as Eve & Adam. Then how did the genetics of the races evolve over time and further more, is it not true that many believers do not believe in evolution ?

bar abbas: It’s alway best to find things out through intense personal study. You have to get your own conviction about it first and most times when ones convicted about anything, then the intense study comes next. Your right on about Adam and Hawwah (mistakenly called Eve by the translators). Bereshith/Genesis 3:20 says “And the man called his wife’s name Hawwah, because she became the mother of all living”…some of thier children went east to china, southwest to Africa, Europe, etc. etc. basically all-over-the-planet and they were of many skin colors.
So we are all Elohim’s people (Israel). The temple is now in us, not a piece of real estate over in the Mid-east. I can’t get deep on it because it takes alot of understanding of Scripture and personal conviction to understand YHWH’s Torah.
People wonder about the beliefs of others, and they always try to find a “slot” to categorize them. By categorizing people into denominations or belief systems, it’s easier to dismiss whatever it is they may be “selling”. On a deserted island, a stranded man that finds a copy of Yahuah’s Word would not be influenced by traditions, statements of belief, or any sort of organized patterns set up by men.
Reading Yahuah’s (the Name of our Creator which the translators attached the “title” of God to and want you to believe that a title is His Name) Word, he would not find Christianity, because the word is not in the text. Neither is the idea. There are no Pentecostals, Baptists, Karaites, Catholics, Lutherans, or popes, nuns, sacraments, masses, or Sun-day observances.
To get to the Truth, we all have to meet our Maker personally, in a quiet and lonely place, free of everyone else, as if we were stranded on a deserted island. The Karaites are unbelievers in Yahusha (The Messiah), so they could not be “first-fruits”, the barley harvest described at Revelation 14. We do TWO things:
“obey the Commandments of Elohim AND hold to the Testimony of Yahusha”.
The Karaites would be about the closest to our walk, so it is very perceptive if people ask if we are Karaite; they perceive that the Covenant is strong with us.
But we are not “Christian” (a Greek term), but rather we are Israelites of the sect of the Natsarim (Acts 24:5). We are Israelite, because we are in the Covenant (Eph. 2), and Natsarim because we hold to the Testimony of Yahusha. Being these, we are the “barley harvest”, the “first-fruits”, and of the 144,000 being gathered from the 12 tribes of Israel in the last days. Only 12,000 of these are from the tribe of Yahudah (Jews), and the others are likewise being called out from among the nations where they were dispersed long ago (2700+ years).
Read Psalm 80, and you will see that we are something completely new that Yahuah is doing, that He planned long ago.
YHWH said: “Oh, that they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and to guard all My commands always, so that it might be well with them and with their children forever!” Debarim/Deut. 5:29.
Do we nullify the Torah through the belief? Let it not be! On the contrary, we establish the Torah. Romans 3:31 and 7:12.

Bar, yes all races and their genetics were contained in the first people’s genes. Ever heard stories of a white couple with a black child that is their own? If you go far back in their family tree, lo and behold it turns out they had a black ancestor. This is not hard to understand. Evolution has the real problem. For some strange reason, Olbermann’s eyes remind me of Stephen Colbert’s and Glenn Beck’s. Could their relation be closer, much closer than “father’s, brother’s, nephew’s, cousin’s former roommate”?
