March 23, 1775

No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve.




	Patrick Henry: "I know not what course others may take but as for me: give me liberty or give me death."

This is no time for ceremony. The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings.

Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.

I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves and the House. Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received?

Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss. Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with those warlike preparations which cover our waters and darken our land.

Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled that force must be called in to win back our love?

Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us: they can be meant for no other. They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging. And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years.

Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves.

Sir, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne!

In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope.

If we wish to be free — if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending — if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained — we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of hosts is all that is left us! They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength but irresolution and inaction?

Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.

Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston!

The war is inevitable — and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace — but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God!

I know not what course others may take but as for me: give me liberty or give me death.

The first thing to do is make a run on the banks and crash the electronic fraud. Then we will have the upper hand. After that a new currency is needed.
People will have to use barter in the interim. I don’t think that a social credit is the best form of currency because it is vulnerable to accounting fraud. I think that the ideal currency should have intrinsic value of utility so that creating more of it is in effect creating value. I think energy based has much to recommend it but obviously time leak lose and also not being transportable (at least not yet) are draw backs.
Any currency that operates in IOUs or credits/debits starts us down the same road that led here albeit without usurious interest possibly.

I remember your email. The energy basis for a currency is potentially a powerful idea.

I’m interested to hear from you again if you develop the idea further. And I’d love to see someone offer a competing currency system to mine. The one thing that will keep my system – and every system – honest is competition.

True, on all points. I was thinking about this issue of not using the dollar anymore, the other day. I wonder how practical it would be, though? I mean, if I demanded to paid in Swiss Francs, for example, or if I insisted on paying for my groceries in American Silver Eagles, how far would I get? Probably not very far at all. I’d be forced to either use dollars again or my debit card digits, just to survive…unless I want to rough it in the wild and eat edible plants I’ve foraged for (which I’m prepared to do, if necessary).

I tried to do without a checking account, several months ago. I was going to pay for everything in cash. Well, that didn’t last long, as I found out right away I couldn’t pay my rent or any bills over $300 wit a money order, as the companys that issue them won’t sell them in amounts larger than $300. Gee, I wonder how that arose? Couldn’t possibly be a collusion between them and the banks, could it? Nah! So, I wound up going back to using my checking account and debit card again. The system has been rigged to keep us penned in, folks.

Go to more than one source for your money orders. If you owe $600., then get two from different places.

I’ve not had a checking account for more than two years. I’m forced by my employer to have direct deposit, so on Friday morning I’m at the bank withdrawing every bit, save the $5.40 it takes to keep the account open. A lot of these banks are tanking on Fridays after all of the payroll has arrived. They time it so they can steal your pay check! Thieving bastards!

Forget the debit card, but if you have a credit card, go ahead and bur it up buying things you think you will need soon. Forget about repayment. Use the dollar as long as it’s good for more than wiping your ass with. We may dislike the currency, but stores still do.

How about several currencies, which the several states had under the Articles of Confederation? The reason we became ripe for rape by the bankers was the Constitution and it’s provisions for a central government with a single currency. This was impossible previously because each state coined its own money.

What if you subscribed to Prisonplanet.tv, downloaded all the docs. burned them to discs you first invest in purchase. Then distribute them with merchants, asking for costs and any gift remittance for reinvestment?
You could inform all the good citizen-merchants you see in your dealings, and after they see 911 Chronicles Truth Rising, you might try them on Terrorstorm, ENDGAME, etc.?
When you are ahead of your costs, and covered your some costs gas etc. you could then attend an outing and give away 40 or 50 dvds!

I’ll chime in on this. You’re correct, hell in the Bible is ‘Sheol’, meaning underworld. It’s where all the dead people are. It is sometimes referred to as Hades, place of the dead.

But, there is a Lake of Fire. After judgement, those wicked ones get cast into it. Not necessarily eternal damnation in the classical sense, more wiping away of their souls.

And I don’t think ‘The Anti-Beast Chip Man’ meant his statement the way you break it down to: someone breaking into your home is obvious. I think his point was to not let your heart grow cold during those times. To open our hearts to the needy, help one another, be kind to one another….but if we have to defend against wickedness, then so be it bcause it is with God’s blessing.

Please don’t quote scripture if you don’t understand which parts are literal and which parts are symbolic. The place called “Hell” or “Sheol” or “Hades” is symbolic. See ( Ec 9:5 & 10, Ps 146:4, 1 Ki 2:6 ) Etc… The Bible clearly states that the dead are conscience of nothing (Ec 9:5) and that the wages sin pays is death (Ro 6:23). Hell fire or “Lake of Fire” is SYMBOLIC and means the second death or death forever without hope of life again. A Loving God would not literally burn a sinner forever because they sinned during their brief lifespan. In fact, what material would a human be made of that could burn forever? Alex, if you read this, I am positive your plan regarding the State reps and governors is the way to go. We have to have people in positions of power stand up to the tyranny now.

If I had woke up in 2006 instead of the summer of 2008, then I could have stood for office in 2008, but I didn’t, and I’m sure a lot of other people about now are thinking the same thing, it’s too late for us, our next chance is 2010.

We have to get people who are now in power, in the States, to stand up with these sovereignty bills. And they need to know we are behind them.

I think it’s dawning on them that the power they have earned, and been temporarily given by We the People of their respective States, is almost non-existent now, and if they want to keep the power their office is supposed to have, they had better use it NOW, while they still have some semblance of it.

I hope it is sinking in that they are nothing to the New World Order, and their views, opinions, feelings and convictions simply don’t matter to the power players. They will not be made billion or even millionaires by this corrupt system the way the sell-outs in Washington have. They only bribe the people on the way too power, once they have all the power, they don’t need you any more, understand?

All that will happen to them is they will lose their liberty along with all of us.

I have been listening to Alex for about 5 years now and have had the wonderful opportuinty to meet TRUE American Patriots like Rudowski, Berman, Avery, Rowe, Stephen Jones, Dave von Kleist etc. The awakening is happening – which is outstanding and inspirational. I have had difficulty ‘waking up’ my closest friends and relatives though… the shift in conscious observation is slow moving but with consistently applied communication anything is possible. My grandmother is an example. She recently sent me a picture of the USS New York, which is billed as being made from the steel of the WTC. I took offense with that as a blatant piece of military propaganda and said as much to her, to which she reacted negatively. Here is part of my message to her:

Hi Gramma, Thanks for your replies. I do appreciate your point of view and I am sorry if I came across in a curt manner…. I have become increasingly alarmed at the rapid rate of the demise of American strength and relative complacentcy when it comes to questioning authority (although this IS beginning to chage). All I am saying is that when one really delves into the research of the events that transpired on 911 it becomes increasingly clear that the events of that day are not what we have been told – and Gramma, I beg you to just look into such things because our nation’s future just might be at stake… Currently we Americans still DO have the freedom to ask questions about our government – sometimes tough questions must be asked. Some of the questions that we should all at least take into account include:
Independent and peer-reviewed scientific studies DO show that there is residue of explosive materials found on the steel columns on the WTC buildings – could the terrorists working from a cave have set up such demolition explosives?
Marvin Bush (the former Presidents brother) was in charge of the security in the complex in the months leading up to 911 and resigned the day before – why isn’t this information more widely known?
We need to ask why there is no concrete video evidence of a plane hitting the Pentagon the most videotaped building on earth?
We need to ask why the ‘black boxes’ on 3 of the 4 flights were said not to be recovered from the crashes, when in fact several firefighters and first responders have sworn that they were?
We need to ask why the 911 Commission Report omitted eyewitness testimony of several firefighters, building employees and WTC groundskeepers stating that they heard/saw explosions in the WTC basements prior to and after the airline crashes?
We need to ask why WTC building 7 collapsed at free fall speed when it wasn’t even hit by a plane (denying immutable laws of Physics)?
We need to ask why there were multiple WAR GAMES and airline hijacking scenarios being carrired out on 911 that had the exact same plans as what was actually occurring?
We need to ask why the Bush Administration evaded any formation of an INVESTIGATION for 411 days after the attacks and then only gave $3million in government support for the investigation (when the Challenger and Columbia Space Shuttle disasters were investigated within 2 weeks and given tens of millions to research)…
There are mountains of evidence to support a new investigation and it is our DUTY as Americans to ask these questions – for if we do not, we can lose all we have.

I agree with you that America is the best country in the history of planet Earth – not because of what has been done in our names through the course of our nation’s violent history, but because of the FREEDOMS we possess as citizens of the USA. The time is now to revitalize those freedoms through the power of our collective voices. As you know, the government of America is NOT America – the PEOPLE are. To limit the disasterous policies that the govt has pushed upon the world in our names, we must start asking the hard questions and demanding justice be served. If we do not ask these questions and simply move along with the propagandistic breezes that persuade people not to question “governmental authority”, we will have limited the effectiveness and scope of our personal freedoms. If people do not have the courage to ask such questions during a time of unparalleled socio-economic dysfunction as we are presently in, we will have lost our rights as Patriots.

From my extensive research I firmly believe that we are currently in a system of total lies, deception and fraud placed upon WE THE PEOPLE by the criminal and corrupt politicians, international bankers, global corporate entities and an illegal central bank, the Federal Reserve, and their agenda is to shatter America into pieces and thus distribute its wealth amongst themselves. We do have the voice to move away from a potential disaster — but only if we all educate ourselves first.

Have regular meetings with other patriots and invite a friend or a family member. Hearing the truth from one person will not convince most people, but a group is a whole different story sometimes. I had a family member (who thought I was crazy) attend one of these meetings.
The following day she called wanting to know my opinion on weapons and supplies.
One person is a nut, but a group of nuts can make a difference. Good luck.

Treason, usurpations, and maniacal acts are all to common amidst the social indoctrination of present times for men and women under the current leadership. Lawlessness will occur under the rouge of (quasi corporate-government agendas), so long as the people allow it, and it will continually effect them in deplorable fashion. Present doctrines at work are not foreign from the eyes, and mind of histories memory. Timely article. Very moving and emotionally stirring. These leaders back then (such as Patrick Henry) were fighting the same type of oppression that we do now. These types of “wars” have been going on for a VERY long time, and have yet to be repaired, or stopped. The entirety of recorded history on this planet is filled with them.

The thing i see about revolution you guys talk about is the message. Say it reaches the point of rebelion. Just about every media newspaper is corpratly owned so your cries for freedom or any mass killing of patriots will go unheard. What isnt in the news didnt happen as they say. The revolution was won thru its message. News was what spread the rebelion across the 13 colonies. If you cant project information out to the public you yourself can be demonized thru propaganda thru the already controlled news outlets. The effect of becoming informed (sometimes frightened) by the news in Infowars and Prison Planet will be helpful as shocking events occur. I am now acclimated, girded to cope less emotionally and more constructively when the wave hits my family and myself. We do learn to adapt. I no longer pass a day without checking in for the latest news here.

I am also like many of us here planning for the disintegration of our society as we know it, seeking answers, strategies. And how I can help others. I look only foir hopeful solutions.

With all due respect you are merely repeating untruths you’ve heard, just as ignorant Christians have in the past.

In Isaiah 40:22 God is said to sit above “the circle of the earth” (the Hebrew word for circle can also mean a sphere).

The Bible doesn’t say the Earth is the center of universe, some “smart Christians” made that up as reconciliation after reading Ptolemy’s Geocentric theory. Which is incorrect by the way. Why doesn’t ANYONE ever say, “Oh those stupid Greeks!”

As for where God lives? Again, blame this on translations, whether intentional or unintentional. The Bible mentions three types of “heaven”. The sky heavens, the space heavens, or what we call the universe, and heaven, what now, since we have greater knowledge of mathematics and physics, can suppose is an extra-dimensional plane.

Interestingly enough, the Bible also says that God “stretched out the heavens” and “the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll.” These words were mysterious until a little theory called the Big Bang came along. And now “smart” scientists theorize that a huge explosion from a central point rapidly expanded the universe, and that some day it will stop expanding, and collapse back on itself in a huge black hole.

Ever seen a scroll roll up when you take your hands off the edges?

The Bible doesn’t even say God created the world in six “days”, another mistranslation, or that he created man in “his” image.

The problem has been so many people reading the Bible in the context of modern English, when it was written in Old English, after being translated from German, after being translated from Latin, after being translated from Greek, after being translated from Aramaic, after being translated from Hebrew.

This sounds exactly like the Tower of Babel and the “confounding” of language to me.

Much of the Bible are allegories and metaphors anyway, and not meant to be taken literally.

And yet another problem is elements of Dante’s The Divine Comedy, finding their way into Christian “lore”.

So go ahead and feel “superior” if you like. But you should try and be better informed, at least from a language and history perspective.

No kidding. I just read what Baldwin wrote and he is right. It’s so glaringly obvious how stupid, lazy and ignorant Christians have been in this country for far too long, well over a century.

Why don’t they apply Romans 13 to the men and women IN OFFICE, instead of just themselves? Total hypocrisy! What, does the meaning of Romans 13 just magically disappear and not apply to the people who become an active part of government?

Think of the lack of logic and reason Christians have shown in allowing this happen. I will obey Romans 13 and the Constitution as long as I am a “nobody”, but if I should ever run for and hold high office, then I would no longer be bound by either the Bible, or the Constitution?

No Christian would even think that, yet that is exactly what they have allowed to happen. I now KNOW many of the ministers in America have been bought off to spread false teachings, because even this cursory examination of those verses reveal the truth.

Now is the time to prepare. The shooting hasnt started yet, you can still buy food and water and toiletries. Get a map of your local area, highlight any possible locations for food and water and scout around for weapon ranges and shops incase you need to get a restock on ammo or guns. Have several exit strategies. Plan strategies for cars and on foot. Have medical kits fully stocked with first aid and any types of medications you need.
