Thousands protest during Obama visit

Hundreds of supporters donating millions of dollars came to hear President Barack Obama speak in San Francisco on Thursday night, but not everyone came to cheer. A huge crowd of protesters also turned out to deliver messages of their own.
By 11 p.m. many of the protesters cleared out, but many of them acknowledge the President probably never saw them. Some protesters said they still feel good that they go their opinion out there, hoping someone in the crowd heard or saw their message.

ya, how do you stop paying taxes? They take my taxes out before I even have a chance to say, “hey wait, i don’t want to pay my fed income or state income tax, stop it guys!”.
Wouldn’t a REAL democracy let you choose what programs your tax dollars go to? Then we could really see what people in this country support, and what is irrelevant to the American people.

What the hell, yes I have had 3 back surgeries and lost every thing I owned while for years trying to SSDI I was denied by the SSA.I have lived in a car for months.I got a job that that gave me 1099s and I did not file or pay taxes for 15 years.My back has given out so I quit what I was doing.I tried to work again part time but My back went out so I quit.The IRS sends out notices to me I throw them out and never open them.Yes I am taking a chance but I have accepted that fact…..

Some of us don’t have any choice regarding “staying home”.. 5 people I know have been on unemployment for a year now. We’re not buying ANYTHING.. staying home is not a problem considering there are NO jobs to even go out looking for. Ive been an admin asst for over 13 yrs and finally broke down and asked Burger King to hire me.. guess what.. they got no jobs and ran out of applications months ago (they told me to just go online).
Not that I want to work for burger king.. but I also don’t want to be homeless. Can’t help but pay taxes in this country as EVERYTHING is taxed. You pay from the moment you get that SS# in the mail.
I live in Florida and it get so hot here that by Sept it feels like you’re standing on the surface of the sun. We start wishing for hurricains and we don’t cry about it when it happens.. we just want a f#@@ing breeze! After a year of having nothing I’m starting to feel that way about life… burn this motherf#@@er to the ground I’m so sick of the anxiety of not being able to pay my bills and fear of being thrown out on the street when the great Obama orders those pricks at the fed reserve to give the rest to bank of america. This whole scam has ruined so many people’s lives you have no idea.

Believe me I can sympathize with you and the 15 MILLION unemployed Americans, while the US allows the immigration of more than 1 MILLION foreigners each year to take American jobs. However, I have advocated MANY TIMES the very same idea. Those who have jobs: THE GREAT AMERICAN WALK OUT. We need to choose a specific week. The week before stock up on as many groceries and supplies that is possible for each family or single person. Fill your gas tank and then DON’T GO TO WORK FOR ONE WEEK! The government will see just how “powerless?” we are! The coutry will be paralyzed for one week. The exception should be all medical personnel, ie. hospitals, doctors, nurses.

I can’t wait to see this. It looks like one of the films we could really wake people up with. I hate TV, and trying to explain why TV is so bad to people, is difficult sometimes. A lot of people think that paying thier cable bill is more important then the phone bill. Would you believe that? No one can see the forest for the trees. And honestly it is making me sick. Fighting TV is a very good way to attack the NWO.

I am a student at Texas A&M College Station, and today our president came to campus to talk about giving back to the community and civil service. I spent most of my day (and skipped two clases) protesting and mingling among fellow fellow students. Obama is here to talk about community service because we have the Corps of Cadets. He’d like to turn public schools in to the exact model that we have here with the corps. I am not a member of the corps and have great respect for them, however the enlistment in such organizations should remain voluntary.
I also find it ironic to look at Obama’s ‘community activist’ in chicago and his affiliations with groups like Acorn. His idea of community service is not what we want to hear. We’ve been doin it our way for a long time and its always worked. lets keep it that way

He rolled his eyes again and said he’s heard it a million times and what does any of it have to do with being patriotic?
