In what was likely the best one-liner of the debate, Donald Trump said he’d release his tax returns once Hillary Clinton releases the over 30,000 e-mails which were illegally deleted.
“I will release my tax returns — against my lawyer’s wishes — when [Hillary Clinton] releases her 33,000 emails that have been deleted,” he said, prompting cheers from the crowd.
The moderator then asked the audience to hold their applause.
