TSA, FBI, Cops Turn Virginia Bridge Into Constitution Free Zone

Gestapo teams, originally confined to airports and then rail stations after September 11, 2001, are increasingly engaged in mission creep. In Virginia Beach this week, drivers on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel are witnessing the police state in action — armed TSA VIPER teams with bomb-sniffing dogs are checking in determined fashion for al-Qaeda, or so they tell the public.

“A VIPER operation began early Tuesday and lasted through the afternoon,” reports WVEC. “As many as 60 people with the TSA, the tunnel police, Coast Guard, NCIS, FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Norfolk Police and Virginia Beach Police are part of the security checkpoint that’s occurring on both ends of the span.”
“This is the first checkpoint at the CBBT [Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel] since the teams were created in 2005,” WVEC notes.
In 2005, VIPER teams began to patrol Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor and Los Angeles rail lines, ferries in Washington state, bus stations in Houston, and mass transit systems in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore. “We just want to develop the capability to enhance security outside of aviation,” air marshal spokesman David Adams told the Associated Press on December 14 of that year.
“The VIPER teams have nothing to do with preventing terrorism, they are there to get people to cower and accept they are under control,” wrote Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson on December 23, 2005. Jones and Watson cited David Adams, who admitted that there was no new intelligence indicating that terrorists were interested in targeting transportation modes.
Last week, the TSA searched passengers in Orlando, Florida, at a Greyhound bus station. Nearly 700 passengers “went through tougher-than-normal security procedures Thursday as part of a random check coordinated by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration,” the Orlando Sentinel reported.

The unconstitutional operation in Virginia Beach does not bother with formalities or “suspicious behavior” — all traffic crossing the bridge is subject to armed cops, Coast Guard, and FBI personnel with bomb-sniffing dogs.
In 2005, police in New York began unconstitutional searches of bags and backpacks of passengers on the city’s buses, subways and commuter trains, according to Bloomberg. “New York stepped up security measures for transportation facilities after the July 7 London subway and bus bombings that killed at least 56 people.”
Over the summer, the TSA began a “security screening pilot program at multiple PATH stations” in New York. “This pilot is part of both the Transportation Security Administration and PATH efforts to ensure the safety of travelers by testing new technologies that identify individuals who seek to do harm to mass transportation systems. There is no current threat to the mass transit system,” Empire State News reported on June 9. “All passengers entering a PATH station taking part in the pilot test are subject to security screening.”
Police and transportation officials in other states have exploited non-existent terrorist threats in order to violate the civil liberties of travelers and commuters. In July, for instance, the Maryland Transit Administration considered “installing audio surveillance equipment on its buses and trains to record conversations of passengers and employees,” the Baltimore Sun reported on July 21, 2009.
As Jones and Watson noted in 2005, the increasing presence of police, military, armed TSA and FBI agents, and other officials has nothing to do with terrorism — it is about acclimating citizens to living in a police state where armed goons roam the streets and use manufactured terrorism as an excuse to remind the slaves who is boss.

That stupid bridge costs 12 dollars and its only worth using if you are heading up or down the coast and would otherwise be hitting DC during traffic hours… I wouldn’t necessarily call that bridge public property since it does require a toll, I believe it is own by the city and state… either way, TSA is still LAME.

Actually, China is becoming more free than the US as well as many other places. The US incarcerates more of its own citizens than any country in the world. Also, the US has one of the highest tax rates, especially when you consider income tax, local tax, and excess taxes. The last vestige of American freedom is being witnessed right here on infowars. Today, America’s freedom only resides in virtual reality. You are guilty until proven innocent in many cases and the TV media is completely controlled by fascists. I can report for my country. Slovakia – central Europe. I will explain a bit and maybe you´ll see why I have no doubt about the “conspiracy”. It has to do with fractal geometry, because this is what happened. In 1989 the communism has fallen, we got out with messed up economy and messed up people. It was called a revolution but it was really only evolution. All the communist just changed coats. It resulted in insane period of time 1993-1998 – when basicaly this happened. In intense power struggle prime minister used state secret service to abduct the son of president! They cuffed him, made him drunk, packed into the coffer and he was later found before slovak embassy in Vienna which is some 70miles away. After this president abdicted and prime minister was empowered to act as both prime minister. He declared amnesty on anything related to abduction so they are legal now. Even though state service even murdered one important informant in this very case – he burned alive as they bombed his car (he was using earth gas -LPG so it the investigation could be quickly closed as accident, even though it was clearly “coincidental” as 9/11)
Few families gained immense wealth and power and they succesfuly retained it to this day even though everyone knows in, nobody can´t legaly touch them. So it really is fractal geometry. To be fair, I was in the Navy and I can tell you, that bridge really is pretty important for our US Navy, since Norfolk is the largest naval base in the world AND many ships must go over that bridge tunnel, in fact my ship went over it several times.

I told everyone I know back in 2001 that the police state would creep from the airports to
the streets. I still run into people that say, Well, if you have nothing to hide, don’t worry about it.
I don’t recognize this country. It is not the America I knew as a kid. I meet very few people
who even know how precious of freedoms are gone. That’s not how I grew up. All the older
people told me to cherish my freedoms, because no other countries had them. I was told to
never ever give up my guns under any circumstances. I was told that Americans had a fighting
spirit that could never be beaten. I was also told that communists would infiltrate our government
some day and take over without firing a shot. That all sounds real quaint to your average sheeple,
but hey hey looky here at what we have going on! The exact scenario the old timers talked of.
I’m glad I wasn’t raised on video games. I’m glad there wasn’t much on TV to watch then.
I’m glad I didn’t go through the school system of these days.

There is no basis for the expansion of police powers based on terrorism. The focus driving the police state is domestic only. We are the terrorists. They have rounded up various individuals and small groups allegedly involved in some kind of terrorism, but I would speculate that most are fabricated as a means of justifying the expansion. Whatever happened to the 16-year old kid arrested under the Patriot Act for a supposed bomb threat?

I have an urgent message for you, more important than any message you can hear. You must admit your lost sinful condition to Him/that you’re worthy of hell, and ask Him to save you by placing complete trust in Jesus ALONE for salvation(an example in the Word of someone doing this- “And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.” Luke 18:13).It is not even partly by yourselves that you can be saved, but only by the merits of Jesus Christ!

Over the past year I had to make 2 round trips from Southern California to Austin Texas. I felt like I was driving through a Gauntlet of Police everywhere, looking for anyone, for any reason to be pulled over. I don’t drink or do drugs and my ex-wife has all my rifles from the days when hunting was a real pleasure but, I felt like a criminal…that if I drove too fast or too slow or stopped at the wrong gas station, I would find myself in a local jailing being robbed or worse, shot dead by some scum sucking low life bastard with a badge. I am telling it how it was and how it is. A person is more likely to be shot and killed by the police than some drug crazed mugger.

Instead of accusing the Great Mythical Multi-headed “JREF” of being… pretty much anything you don’t like… why don’t you take a minute and recognize what’s really going on? A group- claiming to be FIREFIGHTERS and representing your blessed fantasy movement is nothing of the sort, as pointed out by the fact that anyone- including fake and multiple identities can sign up. You should be thanking some of the individuals here who are taking part in this demonstration for exposing yet another group as fraudulent.
But instead, your pathetic fantasy movement is so desperate for attention and membership that you actually get angry when these pathetic specialty groups are exposed as having lax membership policies such that any one or any thing can join as many times as they want. You want the numbers to be inflated and you don’t want anyone to ask questions.
How can you possibly think you’re on the right side of this if that has to be your policy?
