TSA In “Obscene” Grope Down Of Senior Citizen

Screeners touched grandmother’s breasts

TSA agents have once again been accused of conducting a strip-search on an elderly traveler after airport screeners carried out an “obscene” pat down on a 73-year-old grandmother during which they touched her breasts.

The incident occurred on Saturday at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

According to Eli Anselmany, TSA workers lifted his mother’s shirt in the middle of a public security area and proceeded to grope her private parts.

“Putting their hands on her breasts, under her bra, between her thighs, in her thighs. I mean this is a senior citizen for god’s sake. I understand some security issues, but this bordering on obscene” said Anselmany.

The TSA has refused to comment on the incident. Anselmany has contacted Senator John Tester and State Senator Joe Bayleat in an attempt to get justice.

Anselmany is calling for the TSA to re-evaluate its policies, noting that the federal agency “violates people’s civil rights left and right all the time.”

As we have previously documented, TSA agents seem to have developed a penchant for targeting elderly travelers for the most invasive treatment.

Back in December, numerous elderly women came forward to reveal they had been strip-searched by the TSA. In one incident, 85-year-old Lenore Zimmerman was forced to remove her clothes and let TSA agents inspect her colostomy bag.

The TSA initially lied about the incident, claiming it had followed proper procedure but later had to apologize when it turned out the agency had violated their own protocol.

In April, we reported on how wheelchair-bound 95-year-old veteran Omer Petti and his 85-year-old partner Madge Woodward were treated like terrorists by TSA agents at San Diego International airport, ostensibly so TSA workers could separate them from $300 dollars in cash which subsequently went missing.

TSA workers who fail to follow the federal agency’s procedures, which include touching people’s genitals, are threatened with dismissal.

Five TSA workers were recently fired and another 38 suspended after they failed to conduct “extra random checks” on passengers traveling through Southwest Florida International Airport.

Congressman John Mica recently called for “most” of the nation’s busiest airports to evict TSA screeners and replace them with private security, which is permissible under a newly passed law.
