The whole idea of private “for profit” prisons is anethma to a free society that is to function under due process. Private police forces running “for profit” prisons is a recipe for false accusation and false imprisonment and the deprivation of individual liberty without due process of law. This entire practice must be challenged as unconstitutional. I have asked before and I am asking again – where are all the constitutional lawyers? Why are they not doing anything to protect the Constitution?

Hmm… Doesn’t really look like any of the prisons I’ve seen, the ones I’ve seen are just normal prisons too and they don’t have nearly as many bells and whistles this one does. The folks have it made, the tv’s don’t have a clear case, so you could hid something in one, they have a nice little computer room, they have a pharmacy and a commissary, no prison I’ve been to has that, plus they don’t have individual houses (cells), they have a barracks style bunking, doesn’t look like a prison to me, defiantly a detainment facility though.

I don’t really understand – this is operating under the Oregon Department of Corrections – from what I can tell this is definitely a prison but it’s supposed to be. We have a great deal of them here in Texas as well.
What is it that I’m missing that’s so special about this one? Looks like another typical medium security State Prison. Maybe even nothing but a Transfer Facility.

If you look at the town’s website, you’ll see that the camp (er, jail) is currently unoccupied but, the American Police Force Organization has said they will fill the prison. With who? From Where? Maybe they’ll give you a free flu shot with a tour.

How to turn a 60 ton tank into just a road block…
All of the latest tanks, armored vehicles, and troop carriers of modern militaries (particularly the West) have intricate electrical/advanced sighting and weapon sighting with thermal imaging/weapon systems. Most of these systems are a box type structure with a black or reflective glass eye on the top of the tank and next to it’s main gun (look at the photo of the tank and note these to features on both the left and right on the top of the tank). 95,000 sq feet for 450 inmates/prisoners??? Federal facilities average 80sq. ft (generous) for a two man cell. 450 x 40 = 18,000sq. ft., even at twice that 36000 sq.ft. That’s 59,000 sq.ft minus 18,000 sq. ft. for common areas leaves 41,000 sq. ft. of unused/unoccupied space.
What they gonna do with that. That’s a lot of space. Barracks maybe???

I’ve been to jail, and it seems like it might just be a private jail. It is strange they are patrolling the streets though. I think this might just be another private jail like GeoGroup or Cornell Corrections or CCA.

The economic development agency behind the private jail in Hardin has put its executive director on leave but claims the move will not interfere with a controversial contract given to a private security company.
The group also said it is still moving ahead quickly with the California company to operate the facility – even though neither group has contracts in place for prisoners, or promises it can get any.
Al Peterson, board member of the Two Rivers Authority, said executive Greg Smith was placed on leave last Friday. But he said that does not have any bearing on plans to lease the facility to a security company named American Police Force.
Peterson, board vice president, declined to comment on whether Smith will return to work.

“All I can say is that Greg has been put on paid administrative leave, so no decision has been made,” Peterson said.
Smith was placed on leave just days after the economic development agency announced the 10-year contract that could fill the $27 million, 464-bed jail, which has sat empty since 2007.
Peterson said things are moving quickly with American Police Force. He said the company will be in Hardin starting next week to start building its training facility, which Peterson expects will be running this fall.
Peterson said there are no contracts in place for prisoners.
He said American Police Force will now be in the role of seeking state federal or local contracts for prisoners. He also noted, contrary to rumors, the contract only allows low- or medium-risk prisoners from the United States. The board retains final approval on prisoner contracts, Peterson said.
“The American Police Force is going to look for contracts for us for prisoners. They are saying they are going to have some in by January,” Peterson said.
The new spokesman for the authority says the jail operation is running very low on money. The contract turns over ongoing operational issues on the jail over to American Police Force.
The private security company, also tightlipped about the deal, does not show up in existing government contract databases. Security industry representatives and federal officials said they have never heard of it.
Peterson said the firm was gong to use the jail grounds to develop a training center. Retired police officers and former military personnel would be retrained for “international work.”
“These people will be able to go out and assist with everything from airline security around the world, to cruise ship security, and other things. They will be even going to foreign governments and telling them how to help set up their military,” Peterson said. “This is the real deal. When we break some ground and people can see something going on, they will begin to understand what is happening here.”

I have watched this site without very many comments for a month, non-stop I must add.
And we have been played! Oh, don’t get me wrong…s--- is going to hit the fan, this you can bank on. Bank on…bad suggestion..However, this site hides the truth of truth Sayers!
This I have no doubt! The problem is, when you research many of the topics you will find half truths and fabricated information. Does info-wars not realize that most of us know where to find the truth; do they think we are going to wait on their last word to be the truth?
I have been here for awhile and I am telling you, Alex is purposely stepping up the controversy to rake his cash in fast. He also is aware time is running out. Yet, what has he really done to uncover the truth. Yes, he has made vid’s.. But guys, with the money he has taken in, he could have put his message on the TV several times over. And, if not TV, certainly we could have formed a real march on DC. He doesn’t want this to stop as long as he is making dough. He loves to stir the pot; this is all I’m saying. And when you speak the truth against his articles you get deleted.
Now I know that you will have your comments to make in reply to mine. But, go do your own research first. Pick any topic and you will find some misleading information. And every time I post the truth, it never shows up. I highly doubt this comment will be seen, but who knows, Infowars might find it has great controversy in it?
Bottom line, prepare with food for at least a month, get rid of your debt and buy nothing but the supplies you will need.
