U.S. Border Patrol Agents Are Being Trained To Run Away And Hide If Someone Starts Shooting

U.S. border patrol agents have incredibly dangerous jobs and they are the first line of defense for our homeland.  But instead of training and equipping them properly to defend themselves and all the rest of us, the Obama administration is actually attempting to turn them into spineless jellyfish.

If you can believe it, U.S. border patrol agents are now actually being trained to run away and hide if they encounter an “active shooter” in a public location.  If they are cornered by the shooter, they are being trained to “throw things” at the shooter.  What in the world is happening to this country?  We might as well not even have borders.  The Obama administration has made it abundantly clear that it has absolutely no intention of protecting our borders or of enforcing our immigration laws.  Protecting our borders is one thing that the U.S. Constitution requires the president to do, but Barack Obama and several other past presidents have steadfastly refused to do this.  So just what in the world is going on here?

What you are about to read made me quite angry when I first came across it.  It is from the website of the National Border Patrol Council of Tucson, Arizona, and it describes the new “training” that border patrol agents are being forced to go through….

In another nauseating series of “Virtual Learning Center” brainwashing courses that Border Patrol agents are forced to sit behind a computer for hours and endure, we are now taught in an “Active Shooter” course that if we encounter a shooter in a public place we are to “run away” and “hide”. If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become “aggressive” and “throw things” at him or her. We are then advised to “call law enforcement” and wait for their arrival (presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered). Shooting incidents cited in the course are Columbine, the Giffords shooting and the Virginia Tech shooting.

What kind of insanity is this?

If someone pulls out a gun and starts shooting, our border patrol agents should be trained to pull out their own guns and shoot the criminal dead.

But that would make too much common sense.

Unfortunately, this fits perfectly into the pattern of what the Obama administration is trying to do.

Earlier this month I wrote an article about how Barack Obama is attempting to systematically legalize illegal immigration.

Well, earlier this week Obama ended a federal program that permitted state and local police departments to give local police officers the power to make federal immigration arrests.  Now all immigration arrests will be handled by the federal government, and the Obama administration is already making it abundantly clear that Homeland Security will only make immigration arrests in a very limited number of circumstances.  The following is from a recent Fox News article….

By Monday afternoon, the Department of Homeland Security had pulled back on a program known as 287(g), which allows the feds to deputize local officials to make immigration-based arrests. According to a Homeland Security official, the administration has determined those agreements are “not useful” now in states that have Arizona-style laws. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has since rescinded that agreement in Arizona — with the state itself, and with three local law enforcement agencies.

The move means that even if local police step up immigration checks, they’ll have to rely on federal officials to make the arrests.

And federal officials made clear that ICE would be selective in responding to the expected rise in calls from Arizona and other police agencies about immigration status. Officials said ICE will not respond to the scene unless the person in question meets certain criteria — such as being wanted for a felony.

Meanwhile, Homeland Security continues to tighten the screws on all the rest of us.

For example, have you heard about the incident where a TSA agent spilled the ashes of a dead grandfather all over the floor of the airport in Orlando and laughed about it?

John Gross was absolutely horrified when a TSA agent took her finger and started sifting in around in his grandfather’s remains.  The following is how Gross described what happened to WRTV in Indianapolis….

“They opened up my bag, and I told them, ‘Please, be careful. These are my grandpa’s ashes,’” Gross told RTV6′s Norman Cox. “She picked up the jar. She opened it up.

“I was told later on that she had no right to even open it, that they could have used other devices, like an X-ray machine. So she opened it up. She used her finger and was sifting through it. And then she accidentally spilled it.”

Gross says about a quarter to a third of the contents spilled on the floor, leaving him frantically trying to gather up as much as he could while anxious passengers waited behind him.

“She didn’t apologize. She started laughing. I was on my hands and knees picking up bone fragments. I couldn’t pick up all, everything that was lost. I mean, there was a long line behind me.”

Can you imagine picking bone fragments of your dead grandfather off the floor of a major airport as a TSA agent laughs at you?

This is the type of insanity that we are dealing with in America today.

They teach our border patrol agents to run away and hide, but at the same time they want to dig around in the ashes of our dead grandparents in order to make certain that we are not terrorists.

What in the world is happening to this country?
