Comment: At the time of this staged incident, neo-con media outlets like Sean Hannity and Fox News, as well as 9/11 debunking groups, claimed that a 9/11 truther had beaten up a disabled girl as a means of trying to discredit the 9/11 truth movement. Now that Talis has been aquitted and proven completely innocent of all charges, as we maintained all along, will those same groups now come forward and apologize for promulgating this hoax?
A New York jury has acquitted a 24-year-old man accused of heckling Laura and Jenna Bush and assailing a wheelchair-bound teenager and her family.

Authorities had accused Talis of shouting obscenities at the Bushes before attacking John Lovetro’s family at the event.
Lovetro testified against Talis during his trial, as did Lovetro’s daughter and wife Wendy. The Post said several New York police officers and one Secret Service agent also offered testimony against Talis.

There is another solution. Research Jaque Fresco and the Venus Project and see how a society with NO MONEY could function. As far as the article goes, we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, maybe the media should only report on criminals who have been convicted already? I know they won’t so citizens, it is our responsibility to be critical of the information we receive at all times from all sources.

Yes, exactly. I tend to comment on news stories when they offer the option to. That’s actually a REALLY good idea and i feel dumb for not thinking of it yet. Ya…we should spread the word on cnn’s, nbc’s, and fox’s site. Best case scenario-everyone wakes up. I was wondering what happened since this story, and now we know. The whole beating claim was a wild stretch to begin with. I have noticed however that the comments here at AJ are generally off topic and sometimes hateful (troll-like), Much like the “obama fly ” clip on youtube, While some appauded, others representing PETA and its views were against it. while even more commenters were racist sounding.
such troll-like comments are not at all helpful. thise commenters may not be fully aware that sites like AJ and other simaler sites wont be around much longer if this situation keeps up. The trolling is so rampant on articles these days, that they seem to make up the majority of the readers of these sites. no wonder they are mentioned so often as hate sites. it is still possible that civilized debate can still continue as long as people dont resort to name calling to empasize their points.

9/11 truther – I don’t really understand what is being proven here except that there is confusion concerning 9/11. Former Pres. Bush was evidently lied to concerning the events/I don’t know why as there was warning given by concerned americans prior to the implosion of the wtc. So you’re innocent of causing trauma and are probably now unemployed. Do you think anybody cares?
