US attacks Afghanistan against Al-Qaeda, not Taliban: Biden

The Vice President of United States Joseph Biden has said that Taliban are not enemy of US, adding that US and Pakistan would have been feeling comfortable with Taliban government in Kabul but Al-Qaeda had created troubles.

In an interview with a US broadcasting organization, he said that US cannot attack Afghanistan due to Taliban, but attacked Afghanistan due to the providing residence to Al-Qaeda people.

He said that President Barrack Hussain Obama never used the word enemy for Taliban in his policy statements, adding that if Taliban had not given refuge to Al-Qaeda people then the US never carried out any attack on Afghanistan.
