Second Amendment supporters are warning Americans about what they call an “unwarranted knife grab by Customs agents.”

The proposed new rule would expand the definition of “switchblade” to include knives that are opened with one hand as well as old-fashioned slip-joint knives, even the type of folding knives that Boy Scouts typically carry.
Under the proposed rule, most knives would be prohibited from entering the United States, critics warn.
The Second Amendment Foundation and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) are joining forces with a group called Knife Rights to support Americans’ right to own and carry the knives of their choice.”

Within 1 month of having their census complete?? I have not recieved a census packet, have any of you? The last one we received was so many years ago, i can’t remember. But I do know that when we filled it out, i guess they didn’t like our answers. They sent a woman to our home who kept trying to ask too many questions. When we didn’t answer them, she left, only to keep coming back week after week. She never did get her answers.
Are they doing some other form of census now??

Yep, I was at my brothers house about 3 weeks ago when the census person came by, she handed my brother a form, it listed the punishment for not providing census data. (He circular filed it). Then we saw her GPS the house coordinates.
I live in the same area as him, but don’t know it they have GPS on me yet.
Considering that I’m the family “conspiracy nut” They probably got me first.

I watched the lady go through my neighborhood and she did all the houses, even if the people were not home. I asked about what she was doing and she explained that the old way they did it they missed alot of residences and she said that they were building a digital map so none would be missed. The lady also lived in my neighborhood and thought it was the greatest thing. All i could help thinking is that the only thing that i could think of that the gov. uses gps for is dropping bombs.

the people who organized the Albany NY tea party are having another protest gathering at the capitol this month. one of the guys went on local radio today and said that the albany police have reminded them that they cannot bring STICK-SIGNS……STICK SIGNS!!!!!

Actually in Cohoes NY, just a few miles outside Albany, they just put a law into effect that states that no one can make noise above 60 decibles (about normal speaking volume), or face a week in jail, with doubling penalties for each repeat offense, and yes this includes protests.

To be fair there have been alot of kids die in Britain from knife attacks. It’s a tough issue. There was also a double murder recently where 2 French students in London with tortured for over 3 hours and knived more than 240 times.

Ah yes, so all knives must be banned from the public. Only licensed butchers should be allowed to have them, and only once they have passed a government-approved safety training course and become fully certified. They may then purchase knives for work use only, and all must be stamped with serial numbers and registered with the BATFEK — yes, the “K” has now been added. Anyone found with illegal knives shall be subject to a minimum $10,000 fine or 10 years in prison.

No your not getting what i’m saying. No one in Britain is against knifes as such and they are certainly not banned. The law is aimed at the rising use of knifes amoungst young males fighting. The police would never go after a guy sat by a river fishing with his fishing knife next to him for example.
The police are focused on the young pussies who instead of fighting with their fists feel the need to take a knife out with them. Everyone asks why would you want to take a knife out with you when going to the pub for beer? You wouldn’t and that’s where the focus of not carrying knifes is aimed at.
British people have a high sense of fair play. No one is complaining at young lads fighting because we all do it. It is the fact that some punk might have a knife and stick you in the guts with it that doesn’t sit right with British people. Using your fists is perfectly acceptable though.

I remember flying from DC to Denver around 2003 (post 911), and I forgot to take one of those small, 2 in. long Swiss Army knives off of my keychain before going through the whole security fiasco. You’d have thought I’d committed the crime of the century.
I started giving the security guy a ‘raft’, but I was flying with one of my younger sisters and a niece and didn’t want to get ‘locked up’ over something as stupid as that and screw up the flight. The security idiot (not sure if TSA was up and running, yet) told me I could go back OUT thru security, get an envelope and mail it to myself if it was that important to me.
I just told the as*hole that if I were to do that, it’d cut into his profits when he and his buddies split up all of their booty that they’d stolen. I got his attention, because he was looking away, and told him very plainly, *you’re all a bunch of thieves*. The guy was pissed off, but so was I..and in the end, those bastards ‘got over’ on me.
All of this stupid sh*t pisses me off!

Last month our grandson who is 5 years old got suspended for bringing a little swiss army knife to show and tell. The principle said if it were up to him he would look the other way as the kids that go there are country kids, and my grandson spends a lot of time with his dad and my husband at the gun shows and is ready to start hunting this next season. The principal actually said the teacher who reported this was a liberal and has been a constant pain in the neck since she got there.

You guys have a right to bare arms we don’t have a right to bare anything so were coming at it from a totally different base level. Obviously the laws in Britain are open to abuse by the police but there is no evidence of it.
I agree that if the **** does hit the fan British people are ***** because they won’t be able to defend themselves against police with guns. That is why it is so important that you guys keep your 2nd amendment rights. Finally i currently live in America not Britain but i am British, which is why i know about things from that point of view thats all.

This is ridiculous, but not unexpected given that the anti-freedom cults in the U.S. will go to any extreme to get us disarmed, domesticated and dependent. They will no doubt want us to turn in our steak knives, kitchen knives, garden tools, axes and matches next when they think of it. And you’ll need a special permit to dispense any flammable liquid in larger than 1 gallon lots to prevent ‘cocktails’. Remember, it’s all for our safety and to prevent dangerous crime! Just like gun control, the real, hardcore safety dance is just over the time horizon now. I’m betting that slings, slingshots, blowguns, bows and wall hangings containing ‘detachable weaponry’ will be next on the long list. Remember, only the military and police should cut things!

There is not any reason to complain on the message boards unless you are willing to get out and protest. all across America people are gathering during the week in small groups to prepare for this criminal governments attempts at enslaving America.
You have to be willing to come to the Tea Parties and other legitimate protests and let your self be heard. Bring a non Racist sign and come over and over again. On the 4th of July all over America people are going to protest at the local post office or government building or city building. Get involved or you and your children will be slaves of the New World Order under a Communist Government in Washington. Call your elected officials and say. I am not happy with what you are doing in Washington that is making me a slave. I will not vote for you in the next election. Do this whether they are Democraps or Repulsives. The laws making a distinction between fixed-blade, unassisted folding-blade, assisted folding blade and button-operated knives are thoroughly idiotic and should be ignored or repealed. The only law regarding weapons is that aggression has to be punished. I’ve heard people discussing “the psychological impact” of seeing a spring-operated knife opened by an aggressor but it makes no sense. Only the blade itself and the determination of the attacker matter.
Pack a gun and a knife and pay no tax.

I saw this article on the board, so I’ll tell what I know:
1. Customs & Border Protection [can you say Border Patrol & FEMA] are PLANNING to reclassify nearly [ALL?] pocket knives to “switchblade” classification & concealed weapon status. Therby making ALL pocket knives ILLEGAL to import. And as you know, EVERYTHING we buy is imported.
2. Hawaii State Senate has a proposed bill to BAN ALL POCKETKNIVES! Knife in pocket, go to jail!
Japan has STRICT knife laws. Not to mention anti-gun laws. The government in Japan dictates how large & long a KITCHEN KNIFE can be, much less a hunting or pocket knife. But after reviewing these proposed new, improved anti-knife laws, it looks like THEY will be deemed knife friendly & tolerant!

Guys, wake up! I live in the People’s Republic of China and routinely walk down the street with a sword. I teach and learn swordsmanship with a Tai Ji master and have never had even a 2nd glance taken toward me as I walk down the street with a full length sword strapped to my back. It is not uncommon to see people walking down the street with spears, pikes, daggers, knives, swords, etc. and there is no law or regulation prohibiting this.
Children play ‘cops and robbers’ here with very, very realistic ak-47 and glock toy guns. These look good enough to pass as the real thing except on close inspection. Still, no cops swooping down on ropes from a helicopter and surrounding anyone with cars and swat teams.
Conclusion: Which is now the land of the free?

I plan on buying my daughter a knife for her 9th birthday so we can hunt and fish as a family. Theres nooooway that Bama’s gonna stop me from givning her that knife. Im getting a bunch more knives cause when the knife shortgage happens, and it will, well when it does we will have knives. I burried a few in my backyard. We did this with our guns too. Most of em we keep locked in the safe but there are a few we put in the walls. Hubby rigged this string aparatis trapdoor type thing so if we have to hide we can and have our guns and our second amendmant rights all to ourself. When it comes we will be ready.

if you think this is crazy, think about this, our german neighbors are confiscating old fashioned air rifles, if the citizen doesn’t have a small arms weapon permit!!! not sure if it’s a eu wide policy, or just the germans.
also look at the uk, they have gotten the people to the point of not even being allowed a swiss army knife on their person. they have even mnaged to get people to fear any form of knifes, let alone guns of any kind.

Did you know many off these articles you read are from the newspapers? Who is to trust those anyway? There are many good things happening in this world too. Do the newspapers promote that? No. The government owns your viewing shows more than ever. Why bother watching it? Pass on your solutions to others. Don’t forward their crap. Sure there are some wild things happening. But don’t help them out. You can do something about it. So name what it is. If you can’t your may just be wasting your time with it all.
