US killed 97 Afghan civilians in two days

A human rights group has confirmed that the United States used disproportionate force in its recent raids in Afghanistan and killed 97 civilians to get at two Taliban militants.
Afghanistan’s Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC), which launched a probe into early May US-led air strikes in the country, announced Tuesday that 21 of the fatalities of the attacks were women and 65 were children.
“This was a reaction with extreme use of force to destroy a group of opponents, and would have been disproportionate even if they were there,” Nader Nadery, a commissioner for the group, told a news conference in Kabul during the release of the report.

The US military has put at less than 35 the number of civilians targeted in the attacks and says those killed were mostly Taliban militants. It also claims that the Taliban used the local population as human shields.
While confirming that 11 of those killed were men, Nadery said the group’s investigation showed no evidence that any of the victims were armed or that they had been used as human shields.
The AIHRC said the numbers of people killed in the attacks were assessed through witness and medical reports. The probe concludes that around 100 people were killed in the two-day air strikes.

Also, a pilot knows only that it’s a target, which points the finger at the issuer of the order to bomb the target, an army or airforce officer, and if he/she didn’t know, then someone further up made this call…

Yes, it reeks from their pores. The most vehement here commenting are keyboard warriors, not real fighter warriors. Obviously never seen a combat zone of any kind, don’t understand insurgency or guerilla warfare. Its not an easy fight. The enemy isn’t wearing uniforms. The insurgents hide amongst women and children then complain when, sadly, very sadly a woman or child gets injured or killed.
I personally 100% disagree with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as a whole both in original premise and the way they are being conducted. However, one cannot blame the soldiers, instead hold the politicians responsible. They are the ones that gave the orders and after 9/11, most of these kids were eager to defend against what they were told was the enemy.

Just google the source of these claims deeply, not just on the surface. Ask yourself what is their ideology.
On the surface it looks bad, so do all the other false reports that come out of a WAR ZONE! As well as the truthful ones.

COMMON SENSE: 200,000 US soildiers, 200,000 Iraqi and Afghan forces, and 60,000 NATO troops all over the world cannot catch a few people hiding in caves! The US ONLY seems to bomb women and children! This should make anyone think: hmmm.. something is not right here — after you have bombed a 10th wedding the public should start asking questions.
1) Why with all the military support does Afghanistan and Columbia still export so much drugs?
2) Why, with all the US support does Mexico provide so much for the drug trade?
3) Why, with all the soldiers everywhere, is the US unable to catch a few Arabs in caves?

You people are pathatic who beleive troops on the ground are purposefully killing civilians. The Taliban and other Muslim extremist hide behind women and children so as to encourage their deaths by the US military when they are defending themselves against attacks. To have an airstrike it has to be cleared through Brigade and Division lawyers. Yes, an hour, sometimes hours pass before approval is given for gunships to support ground troops in contact. Numerous American soldiers have died to the Army being sensitive to civilian causalties. Meanwhile they blow up each others Mosques, schools and markets when they can not kill infidels. A day doesn’t go by in the world without an Islamic extremist blowing up other Muslims because of slight percieved diverences. That’s just the facts!

no it isnt, the people who do these suicide attacks are not muslims at all, Havent you read the article about US soldiers planting bombs inside cars and blowing them up in densly populated areas and then blaming it on “islamic extremists” not forgeting the massive news reports about people dressing up as muslims and attacking diffrent sects of the muslim community to instigate riots and civil war? seriously, if you still think these suicide bombers are muslims, you must have frontal lobe inhabition or are mentally retartded. there is no denying the US use false flag ops to blame “extremists” or “terrorists” to justify the fake..yes FAKE war on terror where there is no real enemy as stated by aron russo himslelf. Go read the recent article on iran accusing the US responsible for the suicide bomb in the mosque.

I got a couple years in Iraq and Afghanistan and can assure you that “false Flag” operations by suicide bombers against soldiers and civilians would advance no interest of the NWO. The only False Flag bombing I’ll give ya in the ME would be the Sunni Iranians Mosque bombing in Iran. We have been kissing Irans butts, as they bring in EIEDs and the Swiss sniper weapons and are responsible for hundreds of US soldiers deaths and tens of thousands of Iraqis. I doubt we would instigate terror. All they would have to do is unleash their Hezballla units already deeply embeded in the US for retaliation. IT is more likely that the Sunni Iranian Mosque bombers are Wahabist agents from Saudi Arabia. They blow up a Shia Pakistan Mosque monthy in Pakistan.
I beleive from some of your other post, if I remeber them correctly, you probably need to step back from the entire situation and try to logically figure it out. There is NO logic in the ME!

I thought the US didn’t do body counts. I’ve noticed lately that all of a sudden we now have numbers and “figures” as to death totals. Since when?
We invaded Afghanistan because 4 commercial planes crashed on 9/11. There were no commercial planes on 9/11. It was a murderous, treasonous, fabricated, colluded, staged lie. The US military has killed millions of innocent civilians worldwide based on a lie.

LINE IN THE SAND
To all, I say LOVE is the true power and that the OATH taken by so many is a pledge out of care for what is good and right in this land we call America!
I myself do not wish for a fight and that I have called, emailed, pleaded, challenged to all concerned of their Responsibility and DUTY to the Oath for which they have pledged, from Police, Politicians, Soldiers (I am a Armorer), friends, family and all that are in positions to make a positive effect. Still the ones that are in positions of power will not do THE RIGHT THING or even the job we elected them to, by protecting our sovereign rights as citizens of this land & by promise of their oath to office,leaving us citizens with the last resort to ever come closer.
I am just a man that loves his country and sadly I must now start preparing to defend this land I care so much about; not from some invading Foreign force but my very own ELECTED GOVERNMENT. This is a fight NONE of us should want but to all that have taken the Oath, REMEMBER this!!
Alot of good Men & Women have paid with their lives to keep this land free from the like’s of what we now face and remember that the Man or Woman standing next to you could very well hold true to the Oath that they have taken and so go ahead and commit acts of unconstitutional aggression against the citizens and you just might get a little surprise from the REAL MEN & WOMEN that serve our land and so to the one’s of honor, I SALUTE you and to the ones that dishonor their Oath, I pity you for when you hold your child, think about the world you are giving to that souls’ future and what you may soon be dying for, like I probably will, (at least my death will be with honor)!
